Have you tried replacing the laucher2.apk with this. Though you won't feel much of a difference. But some smoothness.
You can go through the thread in the OP. It has all the information.
Not working and thers not much diffrence i heard...

Can any one try to port A40 eyeroom app from Micromax A40 very cool app is that... i tried but it giving FC... so any one can help me to do that
in A40 ROM there is iroom name app in system/app folder... but i cant able to port it i tried that..... that app is just Awesome so.please can anyone help me to do that

There is an app called Framaroot ... But I think it's not working on Canvas 2.. but just give it a try...

its work! just do it. there is a thread on xda too.. just try use google, i cant give you the link because iam a newbie too here..
with keyword "root with framaroot micromax canvas 2" i had found it on google with xda link.
sory i edit it, i do a wrong copy-paste keyword

I have tried it before... Framaroot works on Canvas 2 plus but not on Canvas 2....
yes you can root canvas 2 a110 with framaroot on ics
