Hi all,
Can anyone pls point me to download N8000 Factory Firmware with all files:
CSC, CODE, MODEM (and maybe BOOTLOADER also) and PIT.
Possibly also that of i8190 - Galaxy S3 mini
Thanks in advance

Which file?
There are too many files on those links and im sure most of them will be 1 single file (md5 or tar)
But what I need is the complete 3 or 4 files with PIT.
Do you know which ?
Sammobile.com have a look also look at the PIT file post here some place .
Your post should be in Q&A its not development .

You can use Heimdall to extract your PIT, just put your device in download mode and go to utilities -> detect; then press download.
For the files, just extract your .zip file, rename the .tar.md5 as .tar, and if you have 7z installed you can extract this file.
You'll find the files you need.

Hi,
I need help from kind heart people in this forum if they can help to re-packaged the XXKG5 files from xda-developer into ODIN flashable files like example
CODE_I9100XXKG5_xxxxxx.tar.m d5
MODEM_I9100XXKG5_xxxxxx.tar.md5
GT-I9100-CSC-xxxxxx.tar.md5
I have downloaded the XXKG5 files from xda-developer BUT the package contains files like boot, cache, factoryfs, hidden, modem, param.lfs, sbl and zImage of which I cannot flash with ODIN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to have XXKG5 on my SGS2.
Thanks.
i guess you extract the .tar file don't you? just double click 7e file that you originally download and use the extracted file as it is. do not need to extract once again.

I didn't. Yes I extracted the first compressed file dowloaded. Then all I get are the files like in Image 1. Since Odin cannot flash the compressed file in Image 1....IF I extracted the compressed file in Image 1 then all I get are the files like in Image 2...
As you can see, either way I can't flash with Odin.
If you downloaded from xda it shouldntt look like that. You only need to double click on the file and it extracts.if you didn't download from here then here it is

Read the first notice part about extracting the file to make sure you understand clearly.
Hey I'm new herre and im trying to put clockwork mod on my phone, ive already rooted with superone click. Im using odin v3.95 and i think i need a ops file because when i try to click start with cwm loaded in pda i just get a check image file error.
Im a total noob. Please Help! Thanks
What is the filename of the file you're trying to flash?
cwm-recovery-ALL.tar
I at least figured out it had to be a .tar file.
Download 7zip and open that .tar file within 7zip...is there another .tar or .md5 file inside? There was a CWM .tar released that you had to extract the flashable file from inside of it.
Whoever packaged it made it really confusing. Check and see if that's what you got. Or link me to the file you downloaded and I'll check it out for you.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus Wi-Fi only GT-P6210 that I want to flash back to stock ROM using ODIN. I have found two packages at this thread. (I can't post to the following thread because I'm a noob)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367478
One package has only one file that I know is the PDA file. The other package has 3 files:
GT-P6210-MULTI-CSC-OXEKK1_RST.tar.md5
P6210_APBOOT_P6210XXKL2_CL583761_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
P6210_CODE_P6210XXKL2_CL583761_REV02_user_low_ship_16G.tar.md5
The CODE file is the PDA file, correct?
The CSC file is the CSC file, duh.
What is the APBOOT file?
Can you also explain what the different files are? What is a CSC file? What is a PIT file? Why does the other package only contain the PDA file?
I've never ODIN'd before so I want to make sure I know what I'm doing and flash the correct package.

I have the same question my self but didnt know where to look... Hopefully you get an answer soon cause id like to know to, my tab got screwed up and i dont know how to get the original firmware back and no clue how to properly flash the odin with out screwing it up more, so hopefully this works
I am trying to install XXKBQ Value pack on my galaxy S Pluse over 2.3.4 GINGERBREAD XXKPE. i have downloaded .tar mD5 file from below link as given by XDA dvple http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581193
http://samsung-updates.com/get/762/S...oid_2_3_6.html
But after few steps Odin does not work. Also i am not able to find .ops file.
plz help
you can download any ariesve.ops file
its just 1 kb . search it on google and download it
under odin select ops and select the downloaded file
but in order to do so you also may require the boot, phone and pda files
Hope this might help someone here.
I rooted my s8+ and basically got stuck with a soft-bricked phone, telling me I could only use official firmware etc etc. I was able to get the phone into download mode (eventually) but I wasn't able to flash anything including the stock Pie rom. I spent all night trying to find a solution to no avail and then found this, which I've edited a bit. And it worked. I've now got my s8+ back with Android 9 on it without any bloatware and it's actually better than ever. Thanks to Krolik301 for your help. I'm just hoping this may help someone.
1. Download the stock ROM and extract it.
2. Make a copy of the CSC file and rename one from the file type .md5 to .rar
3. Extract the PIT file from the CSC .rar file.
4. In Odin v3.13, make sure you add all four files from the extracted ROM (BL, AP, CP and CSC).
5. Click the PIT tab and add the PIT file that you just extracted from the CSC.rar file.
6. I the Options tab of Odin, make sure that Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time are all ticked.
7. Click Start and hopefully you'll be back to your stock ROM
And please don't hold me responsible for any loss of data or a phone that still won't boot.
Hope this helps someone. Happy Easter

Hello. I'm helping someone on discord with this exact issue (the error code is "can't open the specified file (line 665)". I extracted the PIT file from CSC and placed it into the PIT file. I also put all of the firmware files in their proper place (except for HOME_CSC, as he wants to keep his files). Do I absolutely have to put the CSC file in place of the HOME_CSC file?
