i was googling around other day and found this rom .. its a clean rom and looks nice ..works very well ... m not its developer and i havent done anything to make this rom better ... orignal post is here http://bbs.mfunz.com/thread-416009-1-1.html all credit goes to szywenhao
one thing is for sure however sometimes it seems loading time of games is slightly higher ..games runs a lot smooth.. quadrent 3d score is 1398 at 1.1 ghz and total score is close to 2100 try it and plz let me knw if u feel the difference as well or is it just in my mind

Note1:-(if u feel launcher a bit lagy use v6 super charger script .. it makes it smooth .. or change to some other launcher like .. but m loving the launcher as it takes up a lot less memory and space )..
Note 2:- having trouble finding where r language options ? ( go to settings > 1st tab > tap on 8th option from up / 4th menu in 2nd group of options > 1st option >English ..thts it ..restart )
note3:- rom is a clean ROM and doesn't contain google apps ..to download them u can use adb to push thm or u can use http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps this link to download flashable zip ..
note4:- free ram = close to 300 mb (games runs pretty nicely and smooth played modern combat 2,3 GTA , dead space ,real racing 2 dungeon hunter 3,dinosaur assasin backstab ,9mm, battile field 2 ..and they all workd very very well )

Will this work with GB kernel 2.3.6 ? Currently running Quarx 0506+ build with DHT22 kernel, if I install this ROM, will it boot?

in the orignal post its written its for defy + as well so i guess it will ..however it will b better if u flash froyo first for bl6 (assuming tht u on bl6) and thn flash it .. or u can try it urself ..but first make a nandroid backup

hi i tried this rom working ok. i have one problem, after installing play store apk , its all the time giving force close message while launching play store.
for i also removed Chinese app store still its not working.

Launcher is not spb shell its totally different tht i hv ever used..its called choclate launcher or something like tht...totaly free n made by some chinese dev ots a very very light launcher like less thn a mb... (need to check .. )

Baba u need to fix permissions for the apk..n also try to wipe cache n delvik cache as well...u can use root explorer to fix permision or u can use fix permission options from the new v6 supercharger script.. rom also hv options to fix permision u can try tht as well (look in settings).thr r many ways to do tht...if u hv rom tool box tht will do the job as well

Yup confirmed ..launcher is a less thn 300kb launcher (choclate launcher) ...oh n the chinese app store isnt bad i downloaded a chinese app with battery icon ...opend it.. interface is totaly in english..and its called power elf (cudnt find it in play store so m sure its free ) n its a really really nice app..it tells u which app or service is consuming high n amount of bettery ..u can close thm...or u can set it to auto close thm ..can manage autostartup on reboot as well n ..it hv so many options to control power consumtion ... really nice app probably 1st app of this class tht i used .. which does things the way they r suposed to b done ..

no problem with the flash lite ..so far ... the problem was with chinese 2.2 froyo sbf ..and libraries in this rom r different ..still if u hv doubts use it at ur own risk
edit:- its based on cynogenmod so there shudnt b any problem with the flash lite

[ROOT][APP]per app dpi change

hi friends
yesterday i install paranoid android 2.50 on my tab P6200 but it is not fully functional like in my galaxy nexus,like changing youtube app in tablet mode, today i read a post for galaxy note 2 about per app dpi changes on the fly! (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2067303)
i give it try on my tab plus and it work like a charm
SO the procedure is
1-install the xposed installer from this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401)
2-Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot
Done!
3-download Xposed App Settings.apk and install from this link (http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/microdownloads/xposed-app-settings.5/viewfile)
4-Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
5-Enable the Xposed App Settings by checking the checkbox
6-Reboot
Done!

Installation instructions:
- root your device and install a custom recovery... IMPORTANT! flash procedure tested only with latest TWRP.
- MAKE EFS BACKUP!!!
- download rom zip
- CHECK MD5
- reboot recovery and WIPE DATA (DO NOT PERFORM OTHER WIPES)
- install rom zip and follow AROMA INSTALLER
- reboot device
- do the samsung wizard then wait indexing service and media scanning (it may takes time, it depends on how many files you have in internal and external sd card)
- done
- As said before, if you select Google Kitkat Mode, you will have two launchers, tw by default, just go to settings, applications to disable tw launcher as default launcher. TW is needed to let applications to create shortcuts in all luncher, just select Google as default launcher.

Downloaded first file - MD5 does not match - tried to open the zip and it would not open - corrupt or something.

Flashed rom and going thru setup - seems really nice so far - but having a problem setting wall paper for the lock screen - when I try to use settings/wall paper/lock screen - there are no galleries offered to select an image from.
If you try to use Quick Pic or Gallery and set an image as lock screen image from any of those aps - it never gives you that option.
I can set the normal wall paper but I can't change the wall paper on the lock screen.
Is there something I am missing?

I flashed and was restoring my usual aps - and reviewing what was in the rom and I cannot find the Samsung Camera - I did get the GOOGLE CAMERA but I thought the OP said both cameras were in the rom?
Did I miss something or can you only install one or the other?
The other issue I have as stated earlier is that I cannot change the lock screen wall paper -
I really need both cameras so hopefully there is a way to make that happen -
