I am currently running ViperS 3.1.2 JB 4.1.1. I know that expandable notifications are a feature of Android JB 4.3. I want know will there be an update for ViperS 3.1.2 JB from 4.1.1 to 4.3? whether the development for this ROM is stopped?

No there are not be any update from 4.1.1 to 4.3 as there is no base ,we only can get 4.1.2 update with sense 5 which is also superb

Ah ok. I know sense 5 is under development. I think it will be super awesome once its released. Kudos to all the developers.
I also want to thank the developer of ViperS 3.1.2 i guess its sebastianFM and the team for this smooth and stable ROM, but i couldnt post it on the development thread as i joined few days back and have fewer than 10 posts.

The viper team is on it!!! m0narx has ported it all ready and we are about to start beta testing fase soon Wont be anroid 4.04 but will be sense 4.1!!!!!
Not from htc for sure but maybe from our awesome developers here in the sensation forum

We will never get that update and HTC have no intention of upgrading it at all. Forget about it nd go for Viper S Rom instead..

I'm on ViperS 1.1.0 now, with SebastianFM 1.5.2 kernel.
After using my phone for a while, it'll be laggy.
Hope that 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1 will solve these annoying problems (Just like OneX did) !

From what I see no, there were people who did develope off of the tmous but they stopped due to reasons that should not be rementioned and they have moved on to another device, so the only Rom that actually has WiFi calling on it is the trickdroid with sense 4.1 and new updates, there hasn't been much developing going on for tmous one s that still has what your looking for there is viper Rom that has sense but no WiFi calling, I see mostly non-sensed roms and european roms not too many tmous roms hopefully I helped you out just hit that thanks button and if you got anymore you want to know, just ask

Oh when I read about the trickdroid rom for sense 4.1 I think version 8 but was not tmous had no wifi calling what I got from the description.
There is a TmoUS Trickdroid thread in the development section. The Rom in that thread has everything you are asking about.

I'm new to the sensation scene and have been fighting with my phone all week to unlock but finally today i downgraded the firmware to 1.17 so i could unlock it but now i'm on ginger bread how could i go about goingt back to ics or jb?

You need to flash either unlocked 3.3.2 or 3.3.3 firmware to run ICS Roms.

I think with you requirements, Elegancia may be the best. If you get rid of Sense, HyperNonSense is a great ICS rom. Other JB roms are good, but the battery life keeps me coming back to HNS.

Now I'm using CM11 4.4 by Android1-7. It works almost perfect!
ViperS sense 5.0 ROM is probably the best ROM you can get for the senny right now

I fully agree. Have tried all popular ROMs from xda (ICS, JB, KK) and have to tell ViperS 5.0 is the best so far.

try ViperS 5.0.0, its amazing.. you won't regret it
I would take ViperS 5.0.0 :good:
But if you dislike Sense, CM11 by Android1-7 is really stable atm.

Can confirm this, I'm really happy with CM11 from Android1-7
ViperS 3.1.4: very good Sense JB ROM with tweaks and so on. I got only a little bug with headphones. If you use headphones without mic, and so need to talk into the phone's mic, then sometimes you are not able to send your speech...you receive very well, but you're not able to talk.(Before someone asks, I use very high quality headphones but unfortunately they are without mic. Listening a lot of music by my mobile during the day, this to talk into the phone's mic is the only way to continue my habits.)
Elegancia: very good Sense ICS ROM with some tweaks (less than ViperS). No bugs found by me, good battery life, but glitches with Maps 7.0, due to hacks in adreno libs. You must downgrade app to Maps 6 (anyway, link is provided in the thread).
CM 10.1 & 10.2 (albinoman, a1-7, etc.): no-Sense ROM, good performance, a lot of available modifications and personalizations, but camera quality is not as Sense ROM, no way to obtain same quality. In some cases, camera app FC, and that's could be a very annoying thing when you want to capture that exact moment!
Actually I use ViperS 5, a Sense 5 JB ROM. No bugs (neither the one with the headphones), good quality pictures, no tweaks (at least, for the moment). IMHO Sense 5 is not so great because of a sort of "relaxing" in design (someone likes that, mine is only an opinion), but this ROM is the one able to give me what I desire at the moment, even if not at all. I'm waiting for a stable CM11 (albinoman's, dominos', a1-7's, no matter whose) with a no bug camera: I tried some version: speed is terrific (it seems like to have a brand 2014 new phone in your hand), and available tweaks/personalizations will be enough to let me forgive the bad quality of the camera.
Everything I wrote, obviously, is from my experience, so someone could be not agree with me.

I'm using vipers with sense 5, OS: 4.1.2, one of the best Rom I have tried, and the Rom update will come soon with many fixes

The best ICS, for me, is Revolution 6.8 (latest is 7.3). It's rock solid, I've thrown anything at it and it worked like a charm.

I've stopped using this rom now. Been getting one graphical glitch everytime using the YouTube app or well... Watching any video. If I dont click the power button to turn off my screen my phone freezes then I have to take the battery out. Been getting this glitch with every Team Venom rom (seen it on the sense 4+ and 5.0 rom). Its not the kernel or any app bugs. Its in the rom itself. I've switched to the revelation rom by SebastianFM. Bug free and I sense 4+ so not that bad. Its not really a rom I would use for a long period of time. Well thats that. 3 stars for sense 5.0 rom. 4 stars for revelation rom.

you can use CM10.1 jellybean 4.2.1 by albinoman its great and getting updates every 2 to 3 days ...v.
battery life is good on badass governer it gives you 24hrs and on ondemand it depends on you how you use your phone..

so i'm also looking for a stable JB as well.
I had good luck, stable wise at least with Dragünkorr's [ROM][ Pure ][ODEXED][ OFFICIAL DKOSP ] {4.2.1} [v.3.5.0] 1/30/2013
It was real stable, he's upto 5.0.0 now so not sure on that one. Was just a clean stock looking ROM, ran very well and stable.
I have been trying out Elegancia Sense 4.1 and its real cool and battery seems better. Its also stable as far as reboots go. It has some isues with Friend Stream not syncing and an occasional FC on the super cool HTC Music app. It only FCs when you try to share from the app though.
Very smooth and responsive.

Are you S-Off and on firmware 3.33? I would suggest doing a clean wipe and reinstall and see if that works. I am currently using that same ROM and there are no problems at all.

i couldn't find the FW for the phone, since it's not stock anymore.
Another vote here for Albinomans 10.1 ROM. I've come from a stock vodafone ROM to his, and the speed is night and day. Getting used to life without Sense, but the fluidity is great. I have used the Feb 15th build, and so far no crashes or reboots. Battery life I'll wait to comment upon until I've claibrated the battery or at least gone through a few cycles.
But all in all, I'm finding it stable
Albino's ROM is stable enough for my daily use.

It's a great ROM. Fluid, fast and good for gaming surprisingly! I've been using the 16th Feb build and its getting 8-9k on Antutu benchmark

I didn't read the thread to the end, but it will be available as an update to ViperS 1.6.3, and might get it's own thread in the Development section when released. I can't actually give an ETA for that, but you can ask the developer via PM.
Can't say when as I don't know but I think that it will be released as official Rom by viper as that Rom has viper tweaks .
