Hi guys, I just wanted to say that if you have Android 4.3 on your galaxy s4 (any 4.3 custom ROM) and you buy the game officially, Asphalt 8 plays in full 1080p HD and has insane graphics. It also has Antialising + OpenGl ES 3.0 here are some screenshots.

Even with Android 4.2.2
Graphics and physics are defiantly improved on 4.3 .didn't make any difference on the leaked firmware though only on Google edition.I don't think opengl 3 is working on the leaked one

Android 4.2.2 doesnt have OpenGL ES3.0. It also doesn't play in full 1080p. It doesn't have Anti-Aliasing nor does it have increased physics.
thers's no OpenGL ES 3.O support in leaked 4.3 ROM theres no driver in it,,,,

When adreno 320 won't be enough to play the latest games, we will be long before fed up with Samsung, and with HTC being no more we all would have only two choices: apple with iPhones and Google with their Android and Nexus.

So. Lemme guess what this does. It modifies your CPU clock speed accordingly, perhaps so memkill levels adjustment. That's probably about it right?

This app will decrease background service priorities (lesser CPU overhead), Increase low memory killer values, Tuning CPU treshold, sampling rate, and maybe governor depending on selected gaming mode level. There are too much things that will really imporive gaming. It only needs Root. More features will be added next days.
New planned features ; Home screen replacement when gaming mode on, Disable known ram hungry apps while gaming, disable multitasking and focus game (Android 4.0+).
yeah. make ads version or demo to try first..

I agree with siankatabg that It is quite early to say if it would work flawlessly or not. However, given the usual standards the manufacturer would like to make this game available to a wide range of devices. To make this possible, they would try to customise it for lots of devices. I am sure there are lots and lots of devices with almost the same specification as ours so I believe that it should work especially with our adreno 305.
I hope that answers the question fully.

I would think that if IT"S NOT xpo, then it would be time to move on.
The queation is not wether it will work with the gamepad, the question is will it work at all.
To be honest i dont see the chance of this running on the x play. You defenetly cant count on it. Maybe you can reduce the grafics to a level where you are able to run the game on that hardware but there is no reson for rockstar to support a more the 2 year old device. It might not even work on Gingerbread at all...
^
Exactly. The amount of enthusiasm for this game around here is astounding. As a veteran gamer I can only tell you people that GTA: SA did not run that well even on the platform it was created for - the PS2. There were occasional stutters when there was too much action on screen.
And how much more powerful is that compared to Xperia Play?
BTW I also have the PC version which runs OK - on a an Intel i5 CPU and nVidia 2GB graphics card.
It's nice that people are still interested in Xperia Play and new releases, but... let's be realistic.
...then eat everything you said if it's XPO. There's no nothing wrong with hoping. And if in the end it's not XPO, it'll be definitely understandable.

hope you're right. But the engine is same as previous GTAs, then should run a bit more slow than VC, even I thinking the VC is bad optimized, because I was reading a thread in a forum about GTA, and a mod has modified the GTA VC for Android porting the Los Santos map, and he said that runs more fast than the original game.
Hm, I was thinking, when the GTA SA was released for PC, I think it was made for single core processors. Now we have dual core and quad core processor on mobile, then I think it will not need a powerful phone to run, they also will not make a game that only the high-ends phones could run, would be suicide. I guess a mid-end (as our) phone can run it as well.
The issue with single-thread optimised games, is that they work best with only one core, sometime you get ol' school issues like "double speed" or rapid gameplay due to the effective clock rate being twice as much along with the engine clock lock, patches usually fix this, but if it uses the same engine as VC, it should work just as well or slightly worse.
It's just great to think that a game which required a P3 and a GeForce 3 Series, can now be played in a device smaller than a hand,

You're right work well with the version v1.0.3 That is the only detail but sometimes leave paintings Quickly removed.
Confirmed San andreas work correctly on Samsung Galaxy s2 GT-9105 plus stock android 4.2.2 ROM :good::good:
Even though it runs smoothly, I can sometimes see some kind of visual artifacts, it looks like a sky-coloured plane directly in front of camera
wow,i never thought our device can run this, make me wanna try it also
on the other hand, the angry bird go is lag and glitch with force closed
