Hi all,
i don't know if this has been made known before but anyway here is a link http://www.freecabs.de/ to a site that serves to provide ppc users a place to find free/commercial softwares/games in cab file-ready format and zip. just to mention a few like Pocket Rar, PPC Skype, Mem Release, VLC Media Player (that can stream video), Virtual Earth Mobile, UI tweaker etc. As for version compatibility, as most is not mentioned, i guess it's up to the user to find out.
I've tried to look for the proprietor's name of this website but could not find any so i could not pay any tribute directly as yet but anyway if he/she reads this, "A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU" so if any of you guys do find his/her name please mention it here. he/she did tho' include his/her e-mail "[email protected]". I think he/she deserves our thank you.

well freecabs is great. But the site is really a portal for OTA downloads. All apps belong to their seperate owners.

Now the website is temporarily unhosted and perhaps discontinued in eight to ten months. This because the webmaster owner has a new carreer waiting ..
He will evaluate in 8 months if upholding the site is possible..

Hello everybody, I'm fairly new (ghoster mostly) to this forum and yet I'm already making a request.
I've got a Dreamspark account with Microsoft since I'm a student right now, but I have no background in any type of coding. I'm registered with App Hub as a student developer, but I need an app to submit to them to get verified. Any crappy app works, but I just don't know the first thing about creating apps. After I get verified, I can get Mango beta from them legitimately rather than going through the side steps as some of you've posted here.
If anybody could make me a quick, easy app, I'd really appreciate it. I won't publish it or anything of course.

I'm not 100% positive I'm putting this in the right section.
I'm havnig an issue whilst registering to the the App Hub.
I have a verified Dreamspark account, so I log in on App Hub and choose student, then I fill in my details and press Next.
Then the following error shows:

i'm getting this same error when i try to register under app hub!
whenever i try to visit the forums create msdn com urls (this forum won't let me post the real url!) i get taken to the same registration page...
how do i contact microsoft help so i can register as a developer?

I'm just commenting to say, this worked for me to!
I just changed the details in first link (billing details) and then it went through!
I have a Microsoft developer account so if it is on that site please provide a link. I love testing new software out, in fact, I'm using Windows 8 right now Thanks in advance.

You have what? Something like that doesn´t exist on Microsoft´s sites.
You don`t know what a developer account is? It lets you deploy XAPs to your Windows Phone, and other cool things.
That´s App Hub account, not MS Developer Account. Anyway, "Tango" beta build is yet not available, and probably never will be, internal build is no use to you, since it authentificates against a server, and you will never obtain credentials.
Do you have it? I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm just wondering if thats where you got the screenshot from? If you do have it where did you get it.
