I am having a weird network connectivity problem or may be the battery problem, don't know exactly. My connection starts to drop when battery reaches below 50%. After couple of restarts, it begin to show the signals but when making call, it shows "Reorganizing internal process". I couldn't even send the messages as it gives message sending fail error. After restarting 5 or 6 times, battery drains to 0% & shuts down the phone. I also tried changing the sim but the same problem arise. It was working fine in OptimusRS ICS rom. The problem arose after upgrading to OptimusRS JellyCream rom. Also, facing this problem in ICS GPCR V2.1 rom.
Please someone help!
Anyone???
Does the problem persist if you go back to the previous ROM?
Didn't tried going back to previous ROM yet. I'll do that tomorrow.
Connection issue could be baseband but it does not explain battery. If the old ROM works you know it is some issue there, or bad flash maybe.

Hi,
I have recently started getting WiFi problems. The comm-manager button for WiFi doesn't work all the times (10% probability of working). Once tapped the busy icon shows up for 10 seconds but the Wifi doesn't start.
Sometimes restart helps but this problem is consistent.
Is anyone else facing it?
Hardware= WIZA200
ROM=11.0.4.0 WWE
IPL=2.26
SPL=2.26
GSM=02.19.11
OS=2.26.10.2 (using a WM6.1 ROM)
I have a similar problem on a 6.5 ROM sometimes. I usually just fix it with a soft reset.
he
i had the same problem.
i dont like it when my dear phone have a problem so i just flashed to another rom.
Mines used to do that too.. but only the first time i tapped it after a soft reset . it would start then off straight away but after the first time it would work normal... the problem was fixed after i switchd roms
please help, i have very annoying problem my wifi act very strange if i turn on phone and turn on wifi on phone it function normally, and when i turn of wifi on phone it turn off normally but then when i try to turn on again its not function anymore it force close, wifi turn off by itself i mustr reboot the phone to make it function again, please help ( ps i use stock rom v21 b and then 21d but the problem still there, internet from 3g work perfectly, and sorry about my english )
it happens i think for all, the reason is unkonw but all I can tell it's related to the settings, if you try to enter wifi settings you'll get a force close, the only way to fix it is to restart the phone.
I've noticed that this issue causes the battery to drain faster
I posted same issue but the thread name wasn't so clear.

I still haven't found the solution so have kept the wifi on always on but now it reboots from time to time (froyo using acura newline v3 o/c rom).
As alankstiyo said above it drains the battery in matter of minutes. If you have Cpu usage program you can check and will see one process tiwlan_wq using 48% of cpu all the time till battery dies.
I use a widget and when it dies, the light turns into a faded green that way I know that it has crashed, maybe LG doesn't even know about it or they know but don't want to do anything
LG has effed up on this phone on so many fronts they just recently acknowledged about ghost call issue. I doubt they'll be bothered to look in this issue as they keep churning out phone after phone. For me this was the first and last LG phone.
NExt one SGIII..
true, I've seen a lot of announcements, prada, 3x 3dmx but nothing regarding the "old" phones
it's like if they forget about their own existence or customers, I'm deciding this week or month to buy a xperia s or not, so bye bye o3d (after just 6 months or so)
Does anyone have a signal problem with this cellphone? My signal comes and goes every few minutes making the phone unusable.
If you do please write down the rom you're using. I think it happens only with ICS 4.0.3
Thanks!

Hi. It seems that I have the same problem, and it happens both on ICS, and Gingerbread.
I guess you have the same version as me, the Zopo ZP100 OEM / Pilot (Hero H5500). The one that has only a single lateral button for the camera. It doesn't have the little switch used to commute from Photo to Video.
It shows me a message in the notification bar "Restricted access changed" and then it disconnects from the network - goes into airplane mode. A few hours after my touchscreen died.
I reflashed all the existing firmware versions for this phone. I really don't know what to do. Can someone help ?
solution
Found a fix:
www dot zopomobileshop dot com/zopo-rom/zopo-zp100-pilot-3g-signal-solution/
I tried that fix and it didn't worked. I returned it and the new one works
I own a HTC One S with stock vodafone (gb) rom, rooted, ICS 4.0.3, Touch 4.0. As I see a lot of people have similar issues as mine, however, I wasn't able to find a working solution. So the problem is that the phone stopped being able to connect to wifi networks - no matter if secured or free. I tried to change the settings from dhcp to static, stll nothing. It goes through connecting>obtaining ip address>authenticating>saved,secure... in whatever order, and the cycle repeats over and over... Sometimes bars appear, blink and disappear again. I had no wifi problems until last night, when I went to a place with free wifi, and for the first time I could not connect to it. After that the issue continued at home. Restarting the router/phone don't work. Has anybody found a working solution?

Not a good solution but you could try a factory reset if nothing else works.
-Sent from my TMOUS HTC One S.-
-Stock/rooted 2.21 + 1.06s baseband-
-Hboot 1.06-
I rebooted the phone a few times (waiting 6 mins when off) without fastboot on and on the third time it started working. I hope this doesn't happen again... As I searched through the forums I saw a lot of people having similar issues mainly with dhcp.. hope there's a fix for that...
Problem appeared again... This time reboot isn't solving anything. When I put it on static IP it connects to the network and disconnects over and over again. This s*** is driving me crazy...
are you running a custom kernel?
No. It's stock. Recovery is CWM, phone is rooted via this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577831
it could be the boot.img causing your issue. i rooted via this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583427 and have never had a problem with wifi unless i had flashed a custom kernel
Well.. I don't know, because I haven't flashed a custom ROM.. Just rooted the stock one... Btw it started working again after like 10 reboots with no fastboot on, but experience tells me that it'll go crazy again...
you could also try flashing a custom rom, it might fix the issue
It seems I have managed to solve it by myself. I have loaded factory image of 44S, preformed OTA upgrades and it seems the issue is gone.

Hi, Last week I had my phone connected to power bank over night with "Sleep as Android" turned on. In the morning I got my wake up alert but I was unable to wake up my screen to turn it off... so I had to keep the power button down and shutdown the phone.
After that I have faced boot loop (phone worked fine previous evening).
I have tried rebooting phone couple of times but nothing worked so I have restored backup of last CM11s from TWRP (I was running on CM12 nightly during the crash). Phone booted up poperly and I thought everything is fine however after couple of hours I noticed my phone is asking me for my PIN so it has apparently rebooted. It appeared that it is rebooting every couple of hours and after every call (like 5 sec after call ended)...
I have tried restoring other backup but I was facing the same issue. I have done clean install of current CM12 nightly and got the same...
Facing that I decided to clean my phone completely... I have backed up all my data and did wipe and format of everything of everything I could from TWRP. Then via fastboot I have been tring loading YNG1TAS17L 64GB (from here) by flash-all.bat file. After loading bootloader I have received message <waiting for device> and my phone got hardbricked...
I managed to recover it using this guide.
Then I loaded TWRP again and installed COS 12.
On that point my phone started working stable but after a while I noticed that is started losing cell signal. Sometimes it was just for couple of seconds and sometimes it lost it for good (while tring to hardcode cell operator I was getting "error while searching for networks" and I was able to restore connectivity after couple of reboots).
I decided it could be radio/modem related so I have applied full firmware. No go. Loaded CM12 nightly - the same, loaded that modem from oxygen again - no go.
I have tried installing latest BlissPop, Mahdi ROMs and Oxygen and still facing the same issue.
Tested SIM card on other phone and it works fine, tested other SIM card on my OPO and still the same issue so it is phone related.
Getting the following in logcat during time phone is unable to connect to cell signal:
Code:
05-31 11:57:36.265 D/GsmDCT ( 2457): [0]isDataAllowed: not allowed due to - SIM not loaded and not NV subscription
05-31 11:57:36.265 D/GsmDCT ( 2457): [ApnContext:mms] getApnSetting: apnSetting=null
05-31 11:57:36.268 D/GsmDCT ( 2457): [0]isDataAllowed getRecordsLoaded=false
Anyone has any idea what could be a reason of this issue and how to fix it? At this moment everything is working fine except phone calls and Internet over network operator (Wifi works fine). Thanks in advance.
UP
Anyone has any idea? I believe I have narrowed the problem down a bit. It seems 2G/3G is affected only. As long as I'm in LTE range the connection is stable (that explains why I noticed the problem after few hours when I left home).
I have played a bit with hardcoding band and noticed that LTE is running stable (with GSM Signal Monitoring app). When switching to 3G it is dropping every couple of seconds. The strange thing is that 2G is sometimes affected and sometimes not... When switching LTE->2G it seems to be running pretty stable but when switching from 3G->2G it is acting the same way as 3G.
were you able to fix it?
I went through same experience except that I can barely connect to 4g, 3g 50% of time. Tried many radios but none worked.

OP updated the post with how it was fixed. Sorry to bump the thread, but thought I'd inform spx that there was an update. Glad it worked out for you OP, I've saved this in case it ever happens to me, and good luck to spx. Hopefully someone puts this info in a sticky so others can try that if they are stuck too.
I fixed it by reflash raido of xnph52q found here. The zip contains more than the radio firmware.

I flashed it before but it didn't work. The only difference is I used TWRP 2.8.6. I remember reading somewhere online that 2.8.7 has issue with OPO

Where is the 44S that OP used? I have something similar happening with my phone. I revived my phone from a hard brick and now it's not connecting to the cell network. Wifi works, IMEI shows when SIM is inserted, no EFS partition backup (I didn't know that was a thing to do until it was too late).
FWIW, my current build is KTU84Q and I'm running CM-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-bacon
