I understand. I did like it as well, but in order to prep for a few other things that I am working on, it was going to be in the way. It was also using another external library to preform that action. I have chosen to remove third party libs and work directly with the android sdk and guidelines. I hope it doesn't cause too much trouble.

OP, this is a pretty nifty app. Have you considered adding blurring functionality, a la Blrrr/Blur: http://blrrr.com/ . It's an iOS-only app that lets you apply a Gaussian blur to any photo you choose to make a nice-looking blurred wall that works well with iOS 7's new look. I've been looking for an equivalent app on Android for my Nexus 4, since I like the blurred aesthetic in general.
I'll give it a go and report to you back.

I download any wall, I go to the download section, I tell it to apply and it just sets the default green leaf android wallpaper instead

Hello. I am sorry you are seeing issues. Would you be able to send me a log? Have you tried with other wallpapers? I am wondering if maybe there is a bad download. If it tries to apply a wallpaper that isn't fully downloaded you might get that. Let me check into it.
I have updated wallbox once again to version 1.3.2 I have added in blur to wallsnap and now allow you to edit wallsnap image without messing with your current wallpaper. Check it out and please leave me some feedback!

Please don't drop this! I love the concept and the fact that it's so conservative on resources.
I'm using Stripad as main Launcher and Quickdesk for some widgets.
There are two flaws, though. On my Samsung Spica, it displays sometimes 8, sometimes 9 bars. The processes windows becomes empty after 3 or 4 seconds.
Again, I think this app is too good for you to drop. Please reconsider.

This is a custom theme I made for the MIUI ROM. I'm in no way a fan of the stock orange colors Android chooses to use, so I did some work of my own.

After installing this theme, setcpu fc's...anyone notice this? I thought it was from switching kernels, but i tested setcpu with diff kernels before the theme install and it worked fine...

Anyway, is the theme supposed to carry into the dialer and messaging and such? When I press numbers in the dialer, they are orange. Selections in the messaging app are still orange as well, as is the orangish background. Wasn't sure these were supposed to be affected by the theme.

I have the same problem– force close on setcpu when i try to create a profile..ive tried diff kernels and did a clean install..no issues till after installing the theme.

Nope, I just did the framework for now. I will do other apps later on.
Updated! I redid almost everything, now the buttons and other graphical errors should look "right".

If you want to find the image you can use tineye.com and most of the time find the unedited picture.

Having problems installing. When running the apk, installer tries to replace Pandora, I choose yes, then it states application failed to load.
Anyone else experiencing this or know of a workaround?
Update: Simple uninstall and install apk resolved error.

It depends on how popualr our wallpaper will be on the market. We dont want to work for completely free and the situation on market isn't so good for unknown developers right now.
There is no technical problem to add more features like you suggest but we think users lead the rules.

Hi exisapps, I like your LWP. It's running pretty slick on my Motorola Electrify (2.3.5/Gingerbread, Tegra 2).
99¢ is very fair for a live wallpaper that is good, I think, and I thank you for offering a 24-hour demo. I'll have to explore the features. I actually prefer the default settings. I don't like some of the other themes, but I'm glad they're there. More choices is definitely better. I just love blues and greens.

Custom settings is an important attribute for most of the users on market, you know.
Predefined themes are good, but custom settings could make app very popular. And we decided to make themes and settings both available.
We dont like 15 mins google refund policy so we to add 24 hours trial to let users fully test the product. You confirmed that it was a good idea to do it, it sounds great for us!

We done rendering in C++ with JNI, all user interface and texture loading in Java.
The only engine we used is GlWallpaperService that manages EGL configs.

Seems like on some devices some texture dimentions make opengl feels crazy.
In preview mode when you rotate the screen and go into landscape mode the size of preview was 355x452. I cant understand why it renders with such distrortions, but when i set the size to 352x452 or 353x452 or 357x452 it starts to render good.
Anyway, the problem for your device is sovled, please update from the martet. Thanks for feedback

1. Do you receive crash notification?
2. Is the problem exist on both background and ball images?
3. The problem appear on all your images, big and small resolution?
4. Is gallery appears when you click set image option from the settings? Do you see cropping rectangle after that?

No. It forced close before showing any content, when it was still showing the "Loading goodies" message. If I have it again, I'm going to send feedback through the Android feedback thingy.

Just downloaded it and works great for me on my SGS3 with no force closes.
One little thing regarding the visual look of the UI though. The contrast between the background and the cards should be increased slightly because it's difficult to tell where one card ends & the next one begins.
Other than that, looks great & works great! Nice job!

Works great on a N5. One tip though...make the font size for the title and the body have more of a difference. The title and body fonts aren't really easily distinguishable. Another tip would be to make the background a light gray instead of pure white so the cards don't blend in as much. (Or just use holo dark as the theme).

Subscribed, I tend to browse the portal allot. This may just be my app for that, instead of opening tapatalk, then browsing through the list of forums, then loading, then sliding out and selecting portal and then waiting.
Super light weight, and simple. Love the UI its clean and neat, haven't experienced any problems what so ever on my Nexus 5, really good creation for you first app!

In some cases, once you open an article, you can see there´s more space between the image and the main title in some articles, that´s all for now.

Hope You will add a switcher, in Settings, between dark and light (i use trds roms), and the a ability to load also older stories, or a cut-off number selection to choose how many entries one wanna load

first thing I've noticed that settings on menu doesn't do anything, if you didn't added it eclipse automatically add menu item called "settings" so I suggest to remove it.
another little problem maybe cuz of the small screen is that there's a large empty space like this image:

settings are missing.. or? I can see just action bar and loaded articles, no login no nothing.. it should be like that?

Yeah, it just shows the xda portal articles, no login or anything because it isn't the forum
