3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. CHECK THE MD5 SUM AS SOON AS YOU DOWNLOAD THE ROM
2. Make a FULL NANDROID Backup and Backup your EFS
3. Philz Recovery is my Recommended Recovery
4. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
5. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup...
6. Reboot and Enjoy
7. IGNORE (that means CHOOSE NO if prompted to “to enable root” OR “disable stock flash recovery”). You have your custom recovery and the Rom is prerooted
NOTE: With Google Play Store there is a tiny bug. When you first log in it takes a long time to show any apps. You should long press the Home Button, clear recents, and exit Play Store. Then enter Play Store again and everything will be blazing fast!!!

Thanks my friend I began (but kept to myself) with the Note 2 but the big breakthrough came with the S4
However, the moment I saw the 4.3 leak I knew it was time to go back to where I began
It's a very decent leak imo (but let's not forget that it's still not Final)

yeah, from reading the other 4.3 threads there are a few glitches here and there, but nothing too serious. I really think, collectively, you ROM cooks will over time solve the majority of glitches and build in many of the N3 apps & mods to the point this leaked ROM will closely resemble Samsung's final official 4.3 release.

But it's a good novel, and it has a happy end
Just a couple of notes because users maybe wondering:
1. After flashing Echoe v1, I successfully downgraded to a custom version I created with the MG1 base (multiUI) and everything was fully functional
2. I initially flshed Echoe v1, from MG1 base without needing to flash anything stock, and everything was functional
3. My baseband remains MF1 and everything is still functional
What about the most disturbing knox? Is it removed from this rom?

of course my friend The hatred towards the knox bull#%$% is undescribable
Root and especially TB work FLAWLESSLY!!
I restored on purpose more than 100 apps from TB and i have no problems... In some like yahoo mail, fb you have to relogin again but that's normal...

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVE
You MUST install the new MJ5 bootloader, download it from here (otherwise WiFi wont work), and not to worry you can go back to MI6 without any issues.
MJ5 Bootloader MD5:1A151B51431DEA8118B03200853DD082
Flash it via Odin. If you don't have Odin, and need instructions, Download Odin 3.07 from here and check this post for step by step instructions.
Now follow the normal install instructions.

Your phone needs to be rooted and should have a custom recovery, if not follow this guide here
As far as recoveries go, I highly recommend TWRP use the following link to get the latest TWRP for Note II and use it with the above method.
Copy to sd-card and flash
After booting up the phone open XposedInstaller go to Framework section and install the Xposed framework, then reboot.
After rebooting, enable WanamXposed Module (found in the XposedInstaller Modules section).
Now you can use the WanamXposed app.
Download WanamXposed app from Google Play and enable it from Xposed installer-> Modules section
DATA WIPE
If you are coming from any other ROM, sammy or AOSP a data wipe is a must.
If you are coming from WanamLite with the same build number (i.e XXDMB6) then a wipe is not necessary unless specified in the instructions.
If you are coming from a previous version of JoelDroid N2 a wipe is not necessary unless specified in the instructions.

I have never tested this with simplistic... I usually avoid installing any system level mods.
This is as close to stock as it can be (with a lot of optimizations of course) only with a AOSP look

1. You will get the best experience if you flash the latest bootloader and modem via odin before

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. USE CUSTOM RECOVERY
Note: As you know flashing any custom Rom will void your warranty and raise your knox warranty counter to 0x1
2. Make Sure that in Settings/General/Security the option "REACTIVATION LOCK" is unticked!!!
3. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP!!! (That includes Backing up your EFS)
4. DOWNLOAD Echoe Rom from one of the links above. Put either into internal or external SD Card.
5. In Recovery, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and Wipe data/factory reset and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
6. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
7. Reboot and Enjoy Note: If in Recovery it ever asks you to "Fix Root" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRESS NO!!!
8. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following:
Using Root Explorer or an analogous app go to data >property>persist.radio.lteon.xml open the file in Text Editor and change the value to true. Save and Exit and Reboot

(Hopefully) you will see the following:

scroll down till you find the following line
/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreen ShortcutSettings
Choose and tick this, now you can rename it to shortcuts (or anything similar) and push try or ok.
ATTENTION: THIS ONLY WORKS WHEN YOU CHOOSE SWIPE TO UNLOCK

What base are you on my friend?
The "virgin" boot of Echoe v.1 was done after a dirty flash but base was the stock MJ3...
If you do wipe cache and dalvik cache...
If you dont feel it as fast as it should, then you probably need a clean flash...
Press no if it asks you to fix root

For me... Pressing Thanks is better than donation
Installation Instructions:
1) Backup EFS of your current ROM
2) Nandroid your current ROM
3) Download Assassin ROM Part ONE for stock ROM
4) Download Assassin ROM Part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for resources
5) you may flash ROM and all other Parts from ExtSdCard
6) Check MD5 and make sure it is matching for each part
7) make sure you have at least 7GB free space in internal sdcard excluding the ROM and parts
8) Boot into recovery
9) Wipe cache & Dalvik cache
10) Full wipe is a MUST.
11) Flash the ROM Part 1.
12) If you want only Stock without Resources you can Reboot
13) Flash Part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
14) Now All Resources in SdCard
15) Reboot: First reboot will take some time.
16) Once booted, don't do anything; just wait till screen goes Off.
17) After that, You may continue setting-up your device.
18) ENJOY...

NOTE: wait for ROM to settle down for Until screen goes OFF before setting up the device for first time. This is to let the tweaks run for the first time to increase the battery life.

Some tips to save battery life:
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) If you are facing battery juicing, use better battery stats app or wake lake detector with greenify to find out what application preventing your phone from getting to deep sleep and find out the different types of wake locks.
8) Remove apps you don't use (system or user apps) with caution by SD MAID app in Settings
9) Enable "Power Saving Mode" from Settings
10) Use Assassin Battery Saver CWM ZIP and follow instructions.

1. Make a Complete Backup (including EFS) and make sure you have a copy on your external sd card
To backup your EFS use this AWESOME TOOL by @ricky310711
2. Use a Custom Recovery
(note: even though Echoe Rom contains no knox leftovers, the fact that you will flash a
custom recovery will automatically raise your knox counter to 0x1 thus voiding your warranty!!)
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache,
Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/
Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose
to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes.
I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes...
Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash

How to install the rom:
1. Download a custom recovery, TWRP or CWM (from here: TWRP)
2. Download the rom and put it on your external SD card
3. Backup all your things to your external SD card
4. SM-G901F: You have to be on BOK2 bootloader and modem, get them from here! IT IS A MUST, OTHERWISE THE ROM WONT WORK
SM-G906K/S/L: Install latest stock rom for your model, download it here!
5. Reboot to recovery, maybe your phone wont start anymore with the new bootloader, don't care about it, with the new rom it will
6. Now wipe everything (except where you put the rom of course)
7. Install the rom
8. Reboot and wait for 10 minutes or something like that
9. Enjoy the new version

Second, i have a little review:
1. No A-Z button in APP Drawer.
2. Antutu score is: 45k opposed to 54k on stock 5.0.2 (53k on second run )
3. Multiwindow off option not staying after reboot.
5. Very responsive.
6. Gear FIT working flawless.

Thanks for the review. App drawer is the one from the S6. That's why there is no such thing.

Multiwindow - i switch it off, but after reboot it turns back on (from the quick settings).
The A-Z button fomr s6 is carrier dependent, i read that T-mobile has it .

So.. Im coming from Dokdo ROM with Lollipop as my base. I've tried Factory Reset, Custom Wipe wiping everything in Phils Touch Recovery, tried changing bases all the way up to BOE1 and I still cant get past the darn Galaxy S5 loading screen. Ive done all but throw my phone against the wall so any help would be appreciated. I thought about downloading the BOE2 base but I dont have the time or the resources to download it from Sammobile.
Rom is stable and smooth, no glitches so far.

I have noticed that Video which is shot through camera has no thumbnail in gallery.
So a great ROM so far. But I found a bug not already here listed:
Wallpaper chooser doesn't work properly. I can't change the lockscreen wallpaper to anything other than the pre-installed S6 ones.
Ok, after 3 days of use i can say the following:
1. Battery life is on par with the official, maybe a little better (~10-15%), i managed to get 1 full day with normal use an still 35% left (bt on at all times and connected with gearfit, wireless on, brightness auto, 30min 4g)
2. Keeping the option button pressed to get the menu is no go, i don't know if s6 has it (eg: when you want to change/add widgets on officia you press the option button for ~3sec and get on that option screen)
3. No thumbnails for videos (even those wich are recorded before the upgrade), here i saw that when you want to play a video, or view a photo you get to some editing software first then to the actual video/photo, i'm guessing that this is the problem with thumbnails.
4. S-Voice does nothing, but also doesn't FC.
5. It would be nice to have the option to uninstall bloatware, not only disable/hide.
6. Antutu score passed 54k.
7. The custom wallpaper (like previous poster) says the app is not installed.
But is the best rom for this phone. I will going to try also the T805 rom of yours.

Both of these bugs are written in the OP. Smart manager only fc's if you click on security stuff.

Hy, setting from gallery won't work, it just fc.
Another bug i'd say is that when you unlock the phone the home screen is like resseting a hard refresh, where all the widgets icons gets refreshed.
For the bloatware, back in the days i had a custom rom for i9506, and there you could uninstall any program from the appdrawer. Like clock/google settings etc.
