I'm recommending TWRP 2.6.1.0 for now. I've had issues with 2.6.3.0
Install Directions:
1)Factory Reset
2)Wipe System --- Only if coming from 4.2.2
3)Install Rom and Gapps
4)Allow Rom to boot, Let settle and Enjoy.
KITKAT (Downloads and Install Instructions)
Instructions:
If coming from any previous version of Android, please make sure your recovery wipes out /system and /data. Also make sure you get KitKat Gapps (links below).
If coming from any other iteration of Kit Kat, make sure you wipe out /system and /data. It could cause bugs to happen that shouldn't be there. (You are now Warned)
....................................................................................
1. Make a Nandroid, CWM recovery (I used Philz Touch)
2. Factory Reset, Wipe /system (make sure your recovery wipes /data too)
3. Install CyanFox 2.0.1+
4. Install Gapps Package
5. Reboot and let settle (10 mins) Set up phone now, or switch to ART (this is a suggestion to help make the switch over faster.. Less apps = less time to get back to running the Rom).
6. (optional) If you switched over to ART, let phone settle for a few more minutes as it is repopulating the cache. Make sure you use OnDemand for your Governor(default is Interactive)
7. Set up phone, Install your apps, Reboot and Enjoy!

Stupid question, but how do I flash this rom?
Used TWRP 2.6.1.0 as suggested, but failed.
Don't know what the file ending with md5 has something to do with it?

I've ran into that one. Just go to options and reboot into recovery again. If it asks to install su please do so. Then it should install after the reboot.

Try re downloading, and use the .md5 to make sure it's correct. There are free md5 checkers on the market. And turning off signature verification. It's on the swipe to install screen. Let me know.

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself (scott.hart.bti). This is a build composed off of the CM11 builds and I have added a lot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the boot-animation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

to flash you need 2.6.3.3 to be built by someone or use cwm 6.0.4.4 that on ville has no backlight and you should go in a dark room to at least see something lol
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291680042 if cwm is not working try fastbootiing this! i don't know what version is lol do it on your own risk lol enjoy!
Will you be the man? Can you get us a TWRP build to flash your rom?
Im stuck on twrp 2.5 because, so far it is the only one with full, consistently working usb drivers for both adb and storage mounting. As of yet, CWM is way lacking in ease of use and reliability for me.
Could you be our man and compile a working build for us? (I couldn't even if i wanted to, I don't have a cpu fast enough to do it)

just try with mine then! since we are sharing all the tree except the device-specific tree this is bootable and should have same problems wih recovery but we managed to flash it using unofficial recoveries compiled by us anyway the one i posted should be the latest version...since cm has cwm remos inside their repos.

i tried building twrp 2.6.3.3 for my device but i got a 2.6.3.0 that was not mounting sdcard system /data lol basically was just booting! I've used a tutorial here on xda but even following each step i was not able making it working...you should ask someone else or try with one from ville threads or try with the recoveries you have maybe it will flash.
I need to know if it is booting at least.

I was skeptical at first considering PAC Rom was very broken for me, and the fact that I kept getting errors and force closes until I rebooted. Then everything was smooth as silk.
This is an awesome and scary-fast ROM.
Is there any chance this is compatible with other kernels? Specifically Ktoonzes... Or any that can OC. Unless this kernel has a few hidden features I didn't know about.
Flashed with TWRP with zero issues.

It should be. I was running it on LK.
KToonzes 4.4 kitkat kernel seems to be working just fine. KTweaker worked no problems as well.
Edit: Well it seems I played with a setting that worked perfectly fine in 4.3 and after I rebooted the phone again it just gets stuck on the boot animation every time. Though it vibrates when I press the power button after I leave it on the boot anim for about a minute, and then I can hold it and power it off. Anyone know what I should do? Just reflash the rom to restore the kernel?
Edit2: Nevermind, I just rewiped cache and dalvik then fix'd permissions and it booted just fine. I ran System Cleaner and it supposedly wiped automatically, guess it goofed.

I can't even get it to show up in the app drawer even though I see it in system/app and the correct permissions are set. It appears as though it was already there but just not functional/disabled and does not want to work. ES file asked if I wanted to overwrite the existing version but that failed.

FIXED PROXIMITY SENSOR PROBLEM
1 open a terminal session
2 type cd /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/
3 with the sensor uncovered type "cat state" and write down the value (43 in my case)
4 type "cat prox_cal" and write down the first value (this is the offset), in my case it was 201
5 sum both values, in my case it was 244
6 Convert it to hex (http://www.disfrutalasmatematicas.com/numeros/binario-decimal-hexadecimal-conversor.html), in my case, F4
7 type "echo -en $'xF4' > /efs/prox_cal", instead of F4, put your value

FINALLY! I have been waiting for this! I love RR especially the boot animation and been using it on my Note 2! Amazing.... Thanks to the team who develop this. I gonna try it out today and will post up any bug issues.
Nice to see N3 ROMs picking up at a great rate, tried this badboy a day or two ago on my N5 it's nice :good: - Nice work.
Please advise me on the GAPPS - when i was directed into the download page, i saw "FULL-GAPPS-RR-KK-4.4.2-20140220-ART.zip". Is this the correct ver for dalvik?

Got it! Will flash this ROM now.... Can't wait to give it a try!
---------- Post added at 12:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:04 PM ----------
My phone encounters random restart for the third time since i install RR 15 mins ago. My screen just froze and it restarted for no reason. By the way, i can't find any "fix permission" feature in my CWM 6.4.0.7. It suppose to be located inside the advanced option but i can't locate it. Is it okay for me to skip that step?
Update: I got an error when it started for the fourth time --> "the process com.android.phone has stopped". Do you have a solution for this?

That's GREAT! Thanks for taking the effort to make it more install-friendly.
Been using it for the past few hours - RR works perfectly! However, can you set the boot animation to be on full screen on the next update? I can see the border of the animation boot when load.

Bluetooth audio dropout
hi guys, i have been having this issue with most of the aokp roms. i have tried looking for any info on it but with no avail.
the issue is that while i am playing music throught bluetooth in my car, it randomly drops sound literally for like .5 of a second and then immediately comes back it doesnt disconnect or any like that just drops sound like someone has turned the volume down and back up really quick, it happens a lot and very randomly. i love using non tw roms but this issue keep pushing me back to tw. any help in this situation will be helpful.

I can't access the "AOSB Rom Box" menu in settings. Nothing happens when I press on it. Also (noob question here) how do I add homescreens? Default is 2 but I'd like 4. Love the multi-screen by the way.

Just one question, HALO does work when you long press on a notification, but the actual HALO ball doesn't appear. Could you please check this or tell me how to make the ball show up?
Thanks!
