as Sony Xperia C has identical hardware to XOLO Q800 (I only doubt the camera might not work, Exmor R vs BSI), is it possible that the stock ROM of Sony Xperia C would work on XOLO Q800?
by stock, i mean stock, nothing added nothing subtracted.

I have seen many ROMs based on Xperia C and then developers mod the ROM adding features to it. By this I am certain that there is a huge possibility that the ROM will work.
has anyone even tried it yet? I guess devs are just busy in customizing ROMs with different apps?

is it possible that Xolo Q800s System apps like dialer app, sim management app will work on Xperia C???
If in case porting is possible then may be we can get 3G video call feature in Xperia C as Xolo q800 has 3G video call option in dialer :fingers-crossed:

Yeah possible and there is already pure xperia ultimate(PXU) ROM for Q800 use it

Guys i have SONY XPERIA SOLA and i am running gingerbread . The company hasnt released ICS for the device too.

the developer of this rom told me that he don't have xperia c device and limited internet connection also but he said ask any developer from xperia c community to contact with him may be AmniX can help us to port this awesome rom it have almost z2 features.

We can port the applications but porting the framework and SystemUI is a bit difficult job

i tried the following steps

Is there any working custom rom for sony xperia tipo dual with android version greater than that of Jelly Bean ?
Guys I have searched and found that Sony xperia tipo dual has no custom ROMs here , it is the most tricky handset .
I had another question , if anyone has tried installing custom rom of some other sony dual sim phone which has configuration similar to sony xperia tipo dual .
this one is 7.0, is prety good, but has some bugs because its not ready yet...
