I have tried almost every alternate method possible, be it --

-- Super One Click ROOT
-- CF-Auto ROOT
--Poland Firmware (on which its said that it works but for me it didn't..)
and any other method that exists....
Though there are already many threads dedicated to the ROOTING of Samsung Chat GT-B5330, but my main concern is that for my cell phone, none of the methods actually worked....
I always get E: Signature Verification Failed Error whenever I Flash any ROM(using Odin be it JB, ICS, Poland or my custom Rom that originally came) and enter Recovery Mode>>Apply Update from Ext. SD Card..
I am getting this error(mentioned above)....
Please Guide me in this regard because I have searched the entire XDA-Forum and have used GOOGLE(to the best of my capability) but none of the methods work,be it from GOOGLE or from here...!!!
Response is more than eagerly awaited...
I just wish to ROOT it, and not Brick it...!

UPDATE OF POST : : :
I also tried This THREAD --- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128482
and when I tried this process...
I first made a backup of my entire data..
Downloaded the file and copied it to my Ext. SD CARD (since Recovery doesnt read the zip from Int. SD CARD)..
Post copying, Switched off my phone, went into Recovery mode., there i got following options--
a)-- Reboot System Now
b)-- Apply update from ADB
c)-- Apply update from Exter
d)-- Wipe data/factory Reset
e)-- Wipe Cache partition
f)-- Apply update from Cache....
I selected "Apply update from Exter" option
My Ext. SD Card opened up >> I chose "G.CHAT-MACDROID-v1.zip" >>>
then i was shown a screen on which all this(written below) was getting displayed --
-- init recovery...
# MANUAL MODE #
-- Appling Multi-CSC --
Applied the CSC- Code: INU
Successfully applied multi-CSC
--Install/SD CARD...
then post 1min(approx) SAMSUNG LOGO displays and my phone returned back to the first 6options(mentioned above).....
When I select "REBOOT SYSTEM NOW" option, my phone restarts normally...!
Neither my DATA gets Wiped(as said in the process of this thread), nor I could see any other changes happening to my Cellph features.., seems like nothing actually ever happened....
Now what should I do, please suggest me...
I have explained U the entire process explicitly what happened on following the thread U mentioned.....

I hate to even post this question....I have tried to research this specifc question but appraently no one is an idiot like me.
My goal is to root the device so I can use toughscreen tune to adjust the screen sensitivity. I am trying to get the device working for acceptable note taking with a "stylus".
I started a root process that was for the Wifi version. I got through ODIN step and copied the zip file to the root. Tried to apply the zip file in recovery mode...and got an error. Stopped and did more research. Then realized I was following the directions for just a wifi device.
The tablet works fine btw.
I tried following the directions for the 4g root in the dev section. I have copied the zip (recovery and kernel) files to the what I believe to be the root. Again in recovery mode I get messages saying after I select "apply update from /sdcard"
Applying Multi-csc...
Successfullly applied mulit-CSC.
E:error opening /data/media: No such file directory
Install from sdcard complete.
I never get the chance to select either the recovery and kernel zips.
wondering if I messed something up by starting the wrong process originally. The device still works fine. but doesnt appear to be rooted.
Any help would be great.

Hi my name is amandeep and i have tried installing the cyanogenmod 10 on my samsung galaxy s3 for bell canada network. However, i have searched many places, read different forums but all has failed. I had been told to use the at&t, cyanogenmod 10, this does not work because at&t modem is different from bell canada modem. I currently have bell network, model#sgh-i747m, android version 4.0.4, baseband version i747mvllh1. I have currently used clockworkmode and then switched to twrp. Please help me set up cyanogenmod 10 with detailed step by step instructions. I cannot find the proper instructions on youtube or google. In addition, when i had tried to install cyanogenmod 10, it would say "error 7", when i was using clockworkmode. I tried it on twrp but did not work and, i am new to twrp so mabey the developers can help me with this one please. Finally, i had bricked my phone yesterday and i had to flash the original bell stock rom which went successful but, i don't want to go through the hassle again. Please help, and if you can get back to me or even post the step by step instructions on youtube it would help alot of canadians including me.
Thank you

Install ClockWorkMod 6 and Cyanogenmod 10 on Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M on Bell Network
Hello,
This is my first post on XDA-Developers and also my first guide. I am not an expert when it comes to this stuff, I just know how to read and follow instructions. I previously had the Galaxy S2 on the Bell network and had to do a lot of reading to find out how to root, install ClockWorkMod and Cyanogenmod 9. So when I got my Galaxy S3 I had to do the same. This is a collaboration of my findings and I am in no way crediting myself for the information I found. I just put it here for anyone who wishes to have their Galaxy S3 on Bell with Cyanogenmod 10 and ClockWorkMod 6.
THESE STEPS ARE INTENDED FOR THE GALAXY S3 SGH-I747M ON BELL! PLEASE HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WITH ROOTING, CLOCKWORKMOD AND CYANOGENMOD!
Step 1
I first followed this guide,
http://galaxys3root.com/galaxy-s3-root/how-to-root-u-s-and-canada-galaxy-s3-sgh-t999sgh-i747sph-l710-fail-proofnoob-proof/
This guide explains how to root your Galaxy S3 and install ClockWorkMod 5.5 and SuperSU
Do not continue unless you have followed all of the steps and read his Q&A. There are 2 files he recommends you delete in order for the stock recovery from overwriting ClockWorkMod. Follow his guide completely.
Step 2
There is a small issue we must now deal with. ClockWorkMod 5.5 will not install Cyanogenmod 9 or 10. You will get an error when you try to install from the zip file. I searched high and low for an answer on how to update ClockWorkMod and it was a tough task. What I did is download the latest ClockWorkMod from clockworkmod.com for the AT&T phone.
http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.2-d2att.img
Rename the file to "recovery.img" and copy the .img file to your phone. I put mine in the /sdcard folder as to follow the instructions I found without modifying the command. After the .img file is on your phone, download Android Terminal Emulator from the Play Store. Run Android Terminal Emulator and enter "su" (no parenthesis) and SuperSU will ask you for your permission. Allow it. Then type these 3 commands:
$ su
# dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
# reboot recovery
Click to collapse
If all is well you will be rebooted into the ClockWorkMod Recovery and you'll notice your version is now 6.0.1.2
If you fail at any point, retrace your steps and make sure everything goes smoothly.
Here is the original posting I found to find these steps,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760376
Step 3
Now you need to download the Cyanogenmod 10 stable and Google Apps.
http://get.cm/get/jenkins/12630/cm-10.0.0-d2att.zip
http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
You can either put those files on your phone or the external SD card.
Reboot your phone into ClockWorkMod Recovery by holding Volume Up+Home while powering on. Wipe your data/reset and cache. Then install Cyanogenmod 10 from the internal/external SD card and then install the Google Apps. Everything should have worked.
The following steps are provided by Cyanogenmod.com:
Method via Recovery
Download the latest version of CyanogenMod.
Optional: Download the Google Apps for the device.
Place the CyanogenMod update.zip file on the root of the SD card.
Optional: Place the Google Apps .zip on the root of the SD card also.
Boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery.
Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the side volume buttons to move around, and either the power button or the trackball to select.
Optional: Select backup and restore to create a backup of current installation on the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Select the option to Wipe data/factory reset.
Then select the option to Wipe cache partition.
Select Install zip from sdcard.
Select Choose zip from sdcard.
Select the CyanogenMod update.zip.
Optional: Install the Google Apps by performing steps 7 - 9 again and choosing the Google Apps update.zip.
Once the installation has finished, select +++++Go Back+++++ to get back to the main menu, and select the Reboot system now option. The Samsung Galaxy S III should now boot into CyanogenMod.

I RARELY sign up for forums. I usually just take what I need and walk away. I've been looking for hours for instructions for Bell SGH-I747M. These steps worked flawlessly! My deepest gratitude to you for writing out these steps.
(For anyone else reading this, the only issue I had was that the two files I was supposed to delete so that ClockworkMod isn't overwritten weren't in the /system or /system/etc folder, so I continued on. I can boot into the ROM manager every time).
Thanks again!
Well, phone is hard bricked.

Well, this step hard bricked my Bell Canada Galaxy S3. Phone will not power on, no lights, no led no nothing, phone is dead. In the URL given, at page 22, it says that this is for Sprint Galaxy S3... at the first page of that forum, on of the EDIT point says to push recovery.img TWICE... I decided to follow only your thread and not read the other source thread you mentioned and that could have been a mistake. Maybe by pushing twice the file to the phone this wouldn't have happened to me.
Also, it mentions to use ADB, not "android terminal" app even if it seems to have worked. I don't think it played a part in my situation but who knows.
So just a word of advice for the folks who would like to flash this phone i747 to Cyanogen, read everything this thread refers you to and make sure you have the whole picture, not just what this poster says.
For now, I'm sending my phone to a JTAG repair.
To Amras86: I am not flaming you in any way. This is part of the game and I take full responsibility for this. Maybe if I had read it all this would not have happened to me. No worries.
I have follow all from the 2nd step with CWM 6.0.4.3 and CM-10.1.3 and all working perfectly..

So i Tried to turn my galaxy s4 to a Google edition phone because i heard it removes the the small lags the device has, but in the process of changing the OS i think i deleted the Factory installed files on the device and did not install the google OS.
so now my phone only shows the Samsung logo when i turn it on, nothing else.
can anyone please help me? or is this a lost cause?
here is what i did
-first i rooted my phone using odin, which i have don a bunch of times, that wasn't the problem, after rooting i installed TWRP on my device and copied the 4.3 google play ROM into my device.
-secondly i rebooted the device, (as the guide said) opened TWRP and did as the guide told me (Wipe –> Advanced Wipe and select “Dalvik Cache”, “System”, and “Cache”. Then move the slider to complete the wipe.) (refer to picture for more detail)
***** this is where i think i ****ed up******
-Now the guide asks me to install the new ROM and do a factory reset + a reboot.
However my phone froze for some reason and i couldn't install the ROM then it rebooted automatically.
now i cant get passed the company's logo and if i do go into TWRP and try doing any of the previous stuff it keeps writing these lines:
checking for MD5 file...
skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.
updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E:Unable to mount '/efs'
E:Unable to mount '/preload'
and when ever i try to reset or reboot, it says the device has no OS .
is it over for my phone? i really would appreciate it if someone could tell me Anything on how to fix this problem.
p.s.
i have been searching the web for the past 2 days, spending hours trying to find an answer or a case similar to mine, so far i haven't found anything.

basically your phone needs to be flashed back with its original ROM, so you need to first identify your exact version of S4 that you have to locate its original ROM, you should look here and post there in the Q&A section, when you need help about Galaxy S4, based on your version, you must clearly inform your version for other members to help you.
Don't worry you should be able to recover your phone by flashing the correct ROM, just READ carefully and follow instructions found in the galaxy S4 forum. in XDA

you need to make rooted system form SC02F official ROM by yourself.

Thanks for the answer ,
I have already CWM recovery installed and it works to boot into it and also making the stock ROM backup. So I can install zip files through CWM. I ve installed " update SuperSu 1.65 zip" and by reboot ask to CWM to root the device.
Now when I open the SuperSu App it wants to update but it cannot in normal mode and asks me if I want to try in CWM .... I really would if I had
a decent SuperSU zip-file to do this... compatible to my phone.
Strange is that Titanium Backup gets root power but any other apps as ROM Manager or ROOT Explorer don't.
The info u gaved me with the SC01F means a total different method with other apps and software to install and I feel like being only half on the way too completely root the device .
Actually I would like an advice from this point ..
Thank u in advance

it is possible to change in CWM if CWM install first.

if you want, make cwm.zip yourself from make_rooted_system's binaries and scripts.
@Dintisor
Sorry I'm not well English.
At first,
"su" and "busybox" is delited by /init at boot time.
this is the reason , you couldn't get root.
so you need copy it from anywhere at boot time.
/system/bin/kiesexe or /systembin/mfescand called by init on root.
replace it to custom script.
and then,
you can get rooting at every boot.

After that I used Region Unlock 1.3 from chainfire and its working perfect
on Calls , SMS and mobile data in Europe.
But I don't have MMS , Video Calls and SMS delivery report options.
I have also a SimToolkit proper to my mobile provider wich is not shown in the apps.
All this above options are available on my mobile network just don't know how to
make them enabled on this device. Eventually if I have to flash a new radio if is somebody
nice to explain what radio could I flash , maybe compatibles from Note 3 Asia devices.
Thank you
