You too lol.
Try this calibration as posted in Note forum. Off the phone and charge for 6hours, then remove the charger. After 10min, charge again for a while and power on the phone and then off and on it. Keep charging on for another hour and you should be going good.
Remember, the moment u change your ROM there will b negative effect on your butterfly

What is your battery life like? Mine goes down pretty fast. Hboot 1.54 on newtroot's GPE 4.2.2 ROM. But I get at least 7hrs so its still livable with. Waiting for killx to do the 4.2.2 kernel when HTC releases the code. If you're on 4.1.2 try flashing the killx kernel.

why does the battery drain so fast?? I think it drain way faster than the stock rom. any idea how i can help??
that one is reported to have bugs with battery and overheat easily. You should use alpha 4 with the patches in the thread.
If you would have read everybody's posts in the thread you would have known this. Just run Alpha 4 and flash the fixes.

Running alpha 4 with the mods in the thread work well.
Thanks guys

Hi - a wild ride dumping Sense this morning. Now I think I'm running CM10 nightly without issue.
Question - why when the phone boots am I greeted with the HTC bootloader, with the red Developmental warning? It cycles once or twice like that, and then I get the CM bootloader. Phone boots fine.
I have Hboot 1.14. Unlocked through HTC Dev. Is something wrong or is that how it boots?
thanks.

And also unable.to go into recovery mode ..volume down and power button combination is also not working..
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
press and hold power until the capacitive buttons blink 7 times or so and then the screen shuts off, When the screen shuts off, let go of power and then press and hold volume down until the bootloader comes up.
Select recovery from bootloader.
When you see the phone with the triangle press and hold volume up and then press the power button, select install from phone storage, select OTA.
Thanks for reply mate..but still not able to update..

Well as everyone know I'm new here to the HTC One XL forums and I was reading up on AOSP roms and heard you need to upgrade to 2.14 hboot in order for touch screen to work, same with Sense 5 4.2.2 Rom ......
My phones details
Current Rom - KickDroid XL
Hboot - 1.09, s-offed, HTC dev unlock, superCID ....
I received the phone like this from a friend cause I asked him to do this for me cause I don't have a computer at the moment..... So is there anyway I can upgrade Hboot without pc?

Thanks for reply, but still doesn't answer my question.... Because I don't have a computer or any way to one... so I can't RUU, is there a way to update hboot via recovery...or by placing a zip on root of sdcard and update via bootloader

Well, you'll be screwed until someone releases a custom rom based on it which doesn't usually take too long.

Signal drops on hatkaxl ROM.
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
No you shouldn't suffer signal drops on that ROM, they're a symptom of Sense 5 / Android 4.2.2 ROMs with a firmware mismatch, Hatka is Sense 4 and Android 4.1 so it should be fine.
When posting a question or a request for help you really should provide more detail than that. I knew what you were talking about because you also sent me a PM, but it really doesn't make much sense the way it's been worded here.
In response to your other question in the PM, Beastmode Reloaded isn't compatible (it's a 4.2.2 kernel).

I just figured I would make my post straight up. Lol. Thanks. I flashed this ROM an hour ago and I was getting signal drops.
Thanks again tim

Hmm. I'm not sure why you'd be getting signal drops, I've never really seen them reported on the older Sense ROMs. You don't have a mismatch between your firmware and radio.
Sent from my Evita
Hatka is great!! Even if it is an older ROM. Music is incredibly clear at high volumes. I always had problems with this phone's damned SIM card tray. Even on stock. So, I read a post that suggested taping the card to the tray with a minimal amount of tape. She's been flawless ever since. Place card in tray as you normally would. Tape the top side and trim excess. Good to go
PS: if you got a taste for vintage ROMs, check out RebelROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2120688

Don't worry about your hboot, it's fine the way it is. Try sticking a piece of tape to the back of your SIM card.
