I flashed TWRP v2.3.0.0 and I get the exact same error.

Also, S-ON shouldn't matter as long as your bootloader is unlocked...the only thing S-ON would affect, is the fact that you would need to flash the boot.img separately, but that wouldn't cause the ROM flash to display errors your receiving...fastboot flash a new recovery, reboot your bootloader, open your new recovery, completely wipe, and try again, using 2.4.1.0 or 2.4.1.1.

Was asking bc didn't know if you could have gotten an S3 that way. I know nothing of the S3's except for processor speed is 1.7 I believe. But, if you flashed NRG it must be S4.
If you still have issues I would reformat sdcard, backup to pc first. I would then wipe all in recovery 3X to include System. Then reflash rom.

With the suggested TWRP I am able to flash ICS roms and JB roms (after flash zip I need to fastboot boot.img). The problem is that I can't get back to ICS roms with nandroid backup.
Now I am using Viper One S 2.1 but my 3G and HDSPA speeds are real slow! So I want to go back to NRG rom but if I restore my nandroid backup my screen stays blank after HTC screen.
What can I do? RUU back?
the same thing happened to me, what hboot boot are u on, now that we have s off i had just updated to hboot 2.15 and i couldn't flash viper 2.1 so using the same recovery 2.4.3.0 ( now that we have s off and flashable hboots i just flashed back to good old reliable 1.09 and i successfully flashed viper, o and im running viper 2.1 and im on t mobile i get up to 18mbps, i got the build prop details if u want to keep viper because i love my viper and i would not changing for anything even wifi hotspot is working on this rom
Right now i am on HBOOT 1.14
I was trying differebt radios but i still dont get the 3g signal of my stock rom.
I am no in tmobile network, i live in chile and our networks use 3g 850/1900 and not AWS like tmous...

Yes, just like rugmank said there is a flashable zip called "Temporary Radio Installer V2" that helps you change the radio on JB sense based roms. It's great.
Do you know if I still need to match my RIL to my RADIO?
Regards.
Im not sure, I have always gotten satisfactory results, by getting the latest radio and even more so by editing the build prop this last one can change the speed drasticly do u have the values for your location and carrier?

I don't quite understand what you want to do.. If you want to RUU, you'll need to know if you're Super CID or not, Super CID + RUU = brick unless you're S-OFF
Are you trying to go back to stock? upgrade Hboot or upgrade software or all three?

I'm pretty sure the meaningful differences are only at the rom level. The stock recovery.img is probably the same across RUUs (but don't quote me on that).
Would be easy to confirm by pulling a few from different RUUs and comparing file sizes.

Might be faster/Safer just to S-OFF and flash an older RUU.
Ending numbers will not be the same so it will not recognize signature with different carriers. Some use 5.1 and others use5_1 just an example.

This will not brick your phone, although you may be correct about the LTE not being included.
Since I'm unable to test LTE, can someone who normally has LTE check about phone and signal type and see what that says.

LTE should be included. As the phone IS LTE capable. its just going to show up as 4G its a cosmetic thing.
Taiwanese bloatware
Keep in mind that thisis with taiwanese bloatware. I installed it yet.. But think im remove this one, since there is bloatware installed. Waiting for official WWE
LTE works perfectly fine. I live in a area with LTE and all good! No drops nothing flaky with the modem. I actually think it pulls better then the other modems.

wonder if the old root method (using the toolkit) still works on 4.3. may try it out. We'll see.
Waiting for flashable
Probably in a few hours. Uploading ZIP for WiFi N7 now, but since I am watching soccer on the internet, the upload is limited to 50KB/s After the WiFi N7 ZIP, I'll make a 3G one.

Flashed the zip image from googles website, after install, loaded the toolkit, did the root/recovery. TWRP boots. But root/super user seems to have issues. Might need a newer version (I chose the *.*.* android version since it didn't have 4.3 yet). As long as I have TWRP however, shouldn't be an issue?
edit: wait I think this patch on this page worked. Yup, have root again. Titanium works.

I would also love to get a Flashable ROM for the N7-3G. Will test without 3g now (link above for the N7).
TIA, Stefan
Is there already a flashable ZIP available for the 3G? If not, tell me and I'll make one.
Please do!
ETA like 1.5 hours I think

I flashed then separately initially and I had the same. In bootloader was the new one in settings the old one. Plus my 32 GB tilapia was now a 8 GB tilapia
Then I flashed all the package by the flash all inside. I am now on stock recovery but it takes 2 min to flash twrp. Now I have 32 GB and the right version of bootloader in system settings.

The developer rom or the offical WWE rom (which makes me think it's bulid 6.09.401.5)?
I've seem to come upon this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712458601 most likely it is the full firmware package which wipes the device.
EDIT: Yep it was the full firmware package - this should help anyone looking for the full firmware

Reflash firmware without recovery.img (just delete in zip recovery.img) or with twrp 2.7.1.2.

Because TWRP 2.7.1.1 wipe OS in bootloader. You can fine 2.6.3.3 or 2.7.1.2 unoffical.

Thank you for the reply but there is no recovery.img inside the zip file.
The zip file contains:
android-info.txt
hboot_signedbyaa.img
radio.img
rcdata.img
tp_HMX852XD.img
tz.img
