Good idea... I voted for I (Back, Home, Menu).
While I know Google is discouraging future use of having a menu button, I don't like wasting screen real-estate for having a menu button in the various screen's interfaces. Also, the inconsistency of the menu button's placement within app UIs is annoying

seeing tasks on touchflow today screen?

hi...
in the old today screen of wm , i could see if i have any active tasks, which is very important to me, i even tought about scrubbing touchflow completly, but then i have a problem with the watch (in the today screen part of the hour is covered by the watch icon)..
so is there any way to customize touchflo's today the same way you customize wm today's (add or remove items from it )
I'm using AE Button Plus to have the active tasks at my fingertips
I would love this too. Whether it be a new tab with numeric indicator like SMS/email, or just putting it under the calendar entries.
I love TF3d but I need tasks.
thanks, but i allready assigned the button to tasks
i need to actually look if it's there.
as a replacement i'd like to see any icon for tasks in the taskbar.
AE Button Plus does that by adding icons to the menu bar.
oh, you mean in the buttom?
will it show me a number of tasks, or just an icon i can click on?

I'm using AE Button Plus also. Menu bar being the bar at the bottom?
I used it to remove the stupid ATT screen, but I didn't see that you can add new ones ; (or can you?)
Something like this would be grand. I hate messy taskbar icons.
I don't know how TF3D is customized. Does it use XML/

How to modify Bottom Bar Key?

Hi all,
I just want to change my bottom bar to which look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If the Start Menu button and Close button are re-positioned into the Bottom Bar, they could be easily pressed as our fingers can reach(I still wonder why Microsoft has such a stupid idea to bring those 2 button on the topmost)
Anyone have an Ideal of how to do it, please help me.
Thank u.
Anyone could help me?
Thanks in advance.
there's an app that moves your taskbar to the bottom.. i forgot its name. if i manage to recall it i'll tell you
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428317
Really thank u.
I already tried it, and disappointed. It's has a lot of bug. The result is: I have to bring Taskbar back to it's nature position.
I'm trying active corner on FtouchSL, which can emulate two bottom corner as taskbar button with Press a' Hold. It's not what I really want, but satisfied by now.
Thank u for your answers.
ftouchsl + wm5NewMenu, works for me, I also have remapped the left soft key to open the start menu. but as I have wm5NM I don't use the start menu much.
Yeah, I use WM5 New Menu too. But it only works on Today Screen, helping me for opening new doc quickly. I like to make a interface that can be fully touch controlled ( 'cause some hard keys of my Prophet is going to break )
I don't understand, wm5NewMenu works anywhere not just the today screen.

Change/Delete Branded Icon in Home Screen Tabs

I've done a search as well as looked at the stuck thread on Touch Sense mods, but didn't see any mention of editing/deleting icons in the Home Screen tabs at the bottom.
I'm using one2free as my service provider in Hong Kong, and bought my HD2 through them. They've put a tab next to "Home" with shortcuts to all their service, which I don't use. I'd prefer to edit the links to ones that I actually use if possible, or else just simple remove the "one2free" tab from the Home screen tab. There is no option to remove that tab in the "Home Screen Tabs" customisation menu.
Here are two pictures of what I'm talking about.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi gregwee, hit "Menu" at the bottom right of the phone, then hit "Personalize Home Screen Tabs" and then uncheck the program that you want to move. Hope this helps.
bahardman
I wish it was this easy. There is no checkbox next to this item. See picture below:
Go into "Comm Manger" first and then folow the following step:
1. Chose "Data Connection"
2. Country "Hong Kong" and Operator "one2free (setting only)"
3. Click "OK" to install
4. After install then reboot your HD2
5. The tab will be remove
Hope can help you!
Thanks raysman! That did it.
Awesome Thanks so much!
Thanks a lot!
Excellent! I was having the same problem too! Thanks for the fix!
Personalize home screen tabs on demand?
Hi,
Does anyone know how to change / add icons to the manila tabs in home screen? For example, how could I replace twitter with resco explorer or stocks with games?

Question Recent apps, home and back icons

My tablet is Samsung Tab S7 FE with Android 12 and One UI version 4.1.1. After last update the desktop changed.
Before the icons at the bottom: recent apps, home and back, were in the middle of screen. Now they are on the right side of the bottom line, which is very annoying: you very often accidiently touch those icons.
I tried to move the position of those icons by pressing long - no success.
I don't want to use Nova Laucher or similar apps, so any possibilities to move those icons back to center of bottom line?

you need to disable the task bar from settings

You can change the position. You have a choice of left, center, or right.
Thank you, now it works!

Question navbar button binding?

would like to assign apps to the buttons like longpress home for camera or longpress back for screenshot. is this possible? magisk?
also is there a way to make the torch turn on with the screen off by pressing the power button? im coming from oneplus 9 pro and it had all this. would be nice to have it again on the ultra. thanks;
There is button remapping available, some for stock Samsung's I believe. Example. Do some Google searches include xda to pull up results from here.
For display on use One Handed Operation plus from the Galaxy store. One of my favorite apps.
Very versatile. Almost no battery usage.
