i get bootloops solutions tried that didn't help

when i flash kernel 3.1.1 on viper s 3.1.2 it boots but very laggy and battery consuming

see the radio is different from what it says in hboot menu ?
maybe that's the problem ?
AFAIK baseband from phone info is taken from build.prop file
so what actually matters is what it shows in the hboot screen
you said that with boot.img from 3.1.1 you successfully booted the 3.1.2 rom
did you try after that to flash the boot.img from 3.1.2 rom?

if yes then i am out of ideas mate

try with a different recovery such as 4ext and flash again the rom

search for clockworkmod recovery
the method is the same
put it in your adb and fastboot folder
and use the fastboot command to flash it

What clock speed are you setting in aroma? Do not overclock there.

I flash CM is ok but all Viper and Revelation were bootloop. I see log.txt when flash the reason is the rom didn't executing full wipe. This is log.txt. Help me

at all first its the 1st reqst to xda developers the problem is :htc senstion xe hboot 1.29 s-on and the problem start when i flash rom the phone never pass the HTC green sreen and i use 4xt reovery with smart flash and never work i try alot of rom and not work what iam do plz help me...i do format and flash again with smart flash and never work even i reternt to orginal rom by restor option .. pleeeeeeeeeeez help me

Try it in this order.
1.Format all partitions (except sd card)
2.Enable "Smartflash" and flash ROM immediately.

pull out the battery put it again
press and hold together power button and volume down until it shows you the bootloader screen

i don't know why you can't flash roms
What Rom u tried??
Ics , gingerbread or jelly ?
Note :- gingerbread Rom won't run on ics firmware that u currently have
For jelly beans , u have to flash gapps .
And remember to enable smarrflash before flashing

Just a question. When you go into recovery, is there anything pops up like "your recovery is not properly configured yet"? It caused problem for me too. Even though I enabled smartflash under settings, I couldn't boot up the rom. You need to run a rom on your phone, either it's stock or custom, install the 4ext recovery updater/control application, start it, go to settings and some windows will show up to configure the recovery. Or you could try to flash boot.img manually from fastboot.

i have this issue after i tried flashind ViperS_3.1.2 rom wich finally doesn't boot !
i tried to solve this by :
- flashing stock rom , CM10.2, revolution HD and some others rom
- changing firmware 3.33 & 3.32
- flashing boot.img extracted from rom with fastboot command
- flashing other hboot
- changing recovery from 4ext to cwm
the phone has unlocked bootloader, S-OFF, and Super-CID.
i used the juopunutbear to get s-off
actually my configuration is :
rom : InsertCoin_Evolution_Sense4_Sensation_v2.2
android 4.03 with sense 4
bricked kernel
bootloader says :
*******unlocked*********
pyramid pvt ship s-off RL
hboot- 1.29
radio 11.24a.3504.31_m
wifi & bluetooth still not working

if it doesn't boot then flash the boot.img via fastboot command
reboot
check then wifi

hi, Perhaps with your 1.29 HBoot.
Try this if its doesn't work .
Download the latest 3.33 universal firmware package (PG58IMG.zip) from here.
Put it on ure Sdcard.
Restart in BootLoader,
yes to update.
Then again installating ROm that u want!!!
And try the new Radio 11.76C

first copy it to the sdcard just in case

i tried resseting phone to it's manufacture values ...
installing ruu.exe rom s-on locked the boot and re s-off ..
installing some roms with flashing boot.img but no change wifi and bluetooth can't start.
and i get no mac adresses.

What recovery are you using? 4Ext is recommended. Also did you checked MD5 sum of the zip before flashing? If the file is correct then try flashing it again. Sometimes bad flashes do happen

check md5 sums
if it matches with the one from download link then flash it
before flashing format all partitions except sdcard

Well, maybe you haven't waited enough? It can take a long time.. because all seems flawless...
Did you know that HTC Sensation was the one capable of running HTC Sense 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, 4.0, 4.1, 4+, and 5 even though official support was stopped at 3.6?

You are soff. You do not need smartflash.
Besides you need vipers kernel flasher as smart flash won't boot 3.1.2. So try flashing without smart flash.
When I first flashed 3.1.0, I got boot loops as I had set max over clock to 1.8 GHz. Set it to 1.5 (or 1.78 of you must), and reflash the ROM with full wipe.

you can't use any pg58img file to flash from bootloader because you are on S-ON

Thank you i will do that. The ruu i have is giving me an error 130 wrond device id. How do i know which ruu to download. Although i will hve to do it later coz my internet bundle is limited today

I managed to unlock bootloader for the first time as the phone had never been empered with. Then i flashed 4ext recovery. But even in the recovery mode the touch is not responding. So i guess the touch i actually dead or is it??

try to flash cwm recovery which isn't touch
then flash the rom
flash the boot.img via fastboot command(since you are on S-ON)
then see if touch is working

They usually get stuck at the click to agree with terms and conditions . Thats if i try with cwm. I will download that tonight and see how it goes
Please can people help here?
I was trying to restore my sensation back to stock(orange it has hboot1.27) all was going well but then it would not boot and stuck in loop to the android recovery.
So far I managed to get 4ext back on and re unlocked the boot, tried reflash in 4ext different custom roms but non will boot after it installs them and say done it just reboots to the stock android recovery always.
I was thinking do I need to flash with a stock orange ruu? but also cant find one with hboot 1.27.
ahhhhhh this is a pain.

I was trying to restore my sensation back to stock(orange it has hboot1.27) all was going well but then it would not boot and stuck in loop to the android recovery.
So far I managed to get 4ext back on and re unlocked the boot, tried reflash in 4ext different custom roms but non will boot after it installs them and say done it just reboots to the stock android recovery always.
I was thinking do I need to flash with a stock orange ruu? but also cant find one with hboot 1.27.
ahhhhhh this is a pain.
any help would be great.

are you on S-ON?
if yes then flash the boot.img after flashing the custom rom via fastboot command
the command is fastboot flash boot boot.img

yes extract it from the rom.zip

thanks I will give it a go does it need to be a stock rom or can I still use a custom rom like vipers

whatever rom you are going to use, use the boot.img from the specific rom after

I tried ParanoidAndroid first but no good it didnt work,
Then tried ViperS 5.2.1 and that did work the the command you gave me.
If I did want this back to stock rom as factory set,
is there away? as this is how I got in this mess in the first place

do you mean using a ruu.exe?
if yes i don't know if it exists an ics for orange

Anyway at all to get it back to a pure stock orange rom.exe
I dont think there is ics orange ruu,
I have hboot 1.27 too
