ADB sideload is very convenient.
Just To let you know
- The first time you make an Backup / Restore it takes some time, this is normal as the recovery needs to Build some first run configs !
- The Touch Calibration, is only on the first Run
Already tested and works fine

Hello, i'm getting some "missing bitmaps" with this new version. The images don't appear on the recovery, and only the selected option is visible.
Guess that the images are missing. The old recovery had 5.?Mb and this only 4,xMb.
Can you please check?
If you have lots of folders you cannot see all the files in Zip flash ....like me i`m only guess where th zip it is , its show only black screen down there

Dear Owners,
Here is a modified multilingual ROM for the ZTE V889M phone. Note that this phone looks like the ZTE BLADE III, but it is based on MTK6577 platform and can handle two sims - dual sim in dual standby mode. Please use the ROM only for this phone to avoid any inconvenience for you (and your phone).
The ROM is delivered “as is”, meaning that this version is no longer maintained due to the fact that I did not do it on my own phone.
At first I need to say thanks for bgcngm and his thread, where the base of the ROM is derived from.
Note that the ZetaMod-v0.06 is originally optimised for Hungarian use. For this reason the primary language was set to Hungarian. (Link will be updated soon, when the v0.07 will be issued)
The ROM does not contain kernel, this is why it does not contain boot.img
Many online stores offer this phone with mod rom, with chinese recovery or stock recovery.
For this reason you have to check your phone if you have CWM. (It is important to install the mod ROM)
To check it, turn off your phone completely. Press the volume up continuously and press the power then. After the logo appears, you can release the power button.
After the phone is entered into the recovery mode, you can release volume up button,
Now, you can easily decide which recovery you have got.
If there is <3e> recovery, that means you have got stock recovery.
If you can see chinese recovery, you can easily recognise it - I wouldn't explain it how.
If you can see the Bruno-complied CWM you can be happy, you can install the ROM.
For the installation of the CWM you have to be familiar with the use of the SP Flashtool.
The
You can find many thread about it, e.g. the mentioned bgcngm one.
Make a CWM backup before install any new ROM!
The thread will be updated with more information soon.
Short installation manual:
Download the mod rom (.zip) and save it into your SD card (practically to the main directory)
Simply enter into the CWM recovery and choose “install zip from sd card -> choose zip from sd card -> choose the ZetaMod-xy.zip -> install”
The installer will ask you about the installation details. Do it step by step and the finally you will have a new phone.
You can choose default or custom installation.
I suggest to save your nvram and Imei at the first time you use the installer. This is a useful safety feature!
Credits:
bgcngm for the base of the ROM (BM3.1)
iBotPeaches and brut.all for apktool
dsixda for his ROM kitchen which is really helpfull for easy-deodexing
Koush for his wonderfull CWM recovery
amarullz for his amazing AROMA installer
...and finally to all the devs whose apps, tweaks and scripts I have used on my custom ROMs
Thank you so much for this cappa72, it's working really well for me. Smoother and faster than the Official Updates that I have tried. One thing that I do miss is the lockscreen of newer update versions of v889m. (The one where you tap and hold the green lock button and a green circle appears before the device is unlocked). Is there a way to incorporate that. That lockscreen is available with Merlion and Uzbekistan Official Updates.
I hope you continue releasing updated ROMs/Updates for v889m as the device has little developer support. Thanks for the share.
EDIT: By the way I used TWR recovery (Team Win Recovery) rather than CWM. It works with TWR too.

Sorry,
Missed this from your feedback PM
Just fixed the zip on download server
Now, it should flash correctly
Many thanks for the support :good:
Finally Flash it (Thanks Adam)
Working Great.
1) Touch is working great. - It will work after 5-6 Seconds.(If possible just press back Hardware key)
2) Its Superfast.
3) Approx 90% functions are working.(A normal day user can flash it without any problem.
4) Taking backing up normally & deleting data & caches also.
Few bugs:
1) you can't view what you are flashing ( Texts are going quickly downwards to front page & hence you can't see it)
2) 1 or 2 functions aren't working(might be my R problem).
I m attaching the zip file with Adam's Update - binaries.
Flash it & Enjoy. :good:

thx alot for reply! deeply appreciate it! how about using ur aroma browser that is built in inside the recovery and mark all files and just delete them ? will i be able to reboot into recovery mode after that? i was thinking that recovery files where flashed into a flash memory outside the phones internal memory to be a fail safe place harmless for beeing erased unless flashed with odin or flashed with any compatible recovery we got availible. am i right about this?
so my short question again is can i mark all folders and files and delete them directly through the built in aroma browser?
:good:
im willing to write you good comments and review here or on youtube if it is in ur demands.

Done and CM11 is booted sucesfully from sdcard By now have only one problem which I have experienced last year on my multiboot for Xperia Go, I have solved them on Xperia Go but unable to find a thread how I got fixed them solved, problem now on Z1C is these seccondary rom runing from sdcard is very slow like was a year ago on Xperia Go, if some one found my post where I have fixed that please give me a link. I don't know if there is something related to the tune2fs parameters since I forgot how I got them fixed. Every idea is welcome!

Yes seems 3.th post related to tune2fs and journal_data_writeback to cache and data giving better performance. Stil noticed some lags, probably because my 8gb old sdcard is so slow Will try to boot from internal storage, maybe it will give better performance or at least maybe an 64gb class 10 sdcard can solve lag problems? What you think guys?

I've added a simple install guide
How do we boot into recovery? I flashed the recovery but when I try to boot into recovery from fastboot it always boots to the main OS
Can't boot in this recovery after installing it.
Sent from my NX510J using XDA Free mobile app
Hi, it will works with newest ZTE firmware 3.06 ? or maybe someone has a newest version ? THX
Can not install official updates/ROMs. There is a misspelling in default.prop:
ro.product.name=nz510j
Must be:
ro.product.name=nx510j

Will be fixed as long as I have time, now I'm too busy
How long will this command take? All I get is < waiting for device >
Had to do this first:
- Connect phone while normally booted
- Run the installer that is automatically mounted on windows
- click 7 times the buildnumber in "about phone" to enable developer options
- enable usb debugging in developer options
Edit:
Installed your cyanogenmod build, but still have a problem. Cant reboot to recovery. What I have to do is get into fastboot, flash TWRP, reboot to recovery.
Edit2:
I can boot to recovery, only if usb is connected.

EDIT: The following isnt needed anymore as of the latest update!
To bypass this problem I use another TWRP now from here: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...3-z9-max-lollipop-5-0-2-cuoco92-firmware.html
Download: https://mega.nz/#!OgYljCAa!eH54Uc7Tdld1N3Oz3L4TIr1uiBx6EZSILf67MFgpgJk"
Translated:
- Install the drivers ( http://pdanet.co/a/ )
- Unzip the ZIP
- Start the file "Install_TOOL.exe"
- Coose 2: "Install TWRP 2.8.6.0"
- Wait for restart to the new TWRP (in nubia style!)

A friend of mine received this smartphone this week and he's unable to get twrp installed, tried many different methods, but apparently the touchscreen doesn't work when he needs to press an option. He did it through Win XP, maybe that's the reason why... I'm nervous as well as I ordered the phone as well through the same seller...
I really don't know why it's not working...

Thank you dianlujitao,
I hadn't seen that you had already fixed the typo, sorry for that.
I've told my friend about the new TWRP and asked him about the path - if he asks me where to find this on the phone, where should he look for, or can this be found through Windows as well ?
I'll keep you informed about my findings.
Thanks again,
Ken

Can be found even through CM file manager.
Run adb shell on computer, then use ls to find it
Hey!
I got it working on my Z9 max
Didn't work though through root path on internal storage, had to run it through another path on my pc.
Fiddling around a bit these days before I try out your Cyanogen Rom.
Btw, do you have a proper link (nubia official) for the download of the new Nubia UI?
I tried to locate it on nubia.cn, but I'm unable to find it...
I'd really appreciate if you could reveal the link
Cheers

Thanks a ton dianlujitao,
Sorry for late reply, I'm currently on vacation, I'll do it when I return.
I got a couple of questions regarding this. If you can and if you want, I'd appreciate if you could give them a look, no hurry. I'm very well aware that this is your time, and I have no right to request anything.
I just don't want to brick the phone
1. Can I use your Twrp to make a Nandroid backup?
2. Can I use your Twrp to flash it (The Brush file) or should I do it with default recovery?
3. As per instructions, it says that I should unroot it and reset to factory values.... Is this necessary?
4. Where does your Twrp save the backup, to internal memory or SD card?
Last but not least, I have to say that so far the phone has impressed me, specially the camera, awesome pics.
I let the device store them on the SD card, and sometimes I have seen (4 times to be precise) that the pic is corrupt. Would you know if this is fault of the phone or of the SD card?
Cheers,
Ken
P. D. Do you have a PayPal account for donations setup for instance?

don't know how it's with this rom, but on stock kitkat (rooted), i was able to edit build.prop file in /system.
added the line ro.sf.lcd_density=380 as the last line under ADDITIONAL_BUILD_PROPERTIES and rebooted to get my preferred resolution.
hi @sachin.r.fulzele, i'm an earlier user of xolo q3000. i happened to get back the device for a few days and i'd like to try out your rom.
please mention md5 checksums for your rom zip and patch zip. the rom zip has the following details:
Code:
anspv5-release-26042015.zip
Owner: muratyavuzakarsu
Size: 392 MB
is this the latest release as you intended? also, what exactly is the patch for? thanks in advance for your response.
@mohan, I am speaking frankly that I don't know, how to generate checksum & what is its purpose.
I've referred the link of original thread by @yavuz21, you can check it for latest version.
Patches are always provided, as you know, to suit our needs.
