Hello! I think I have bricked my phone. This is what I did : I rooted my phone, then went to Rom toolbox to change my statusbar icon colors to yellow. Then, my phone started popping errors everywhere. I tried to reboot, but after that, I could've not go to download mode and also boot it. Charging icon shows when charging the phone, but doesnt boot. Is it a hard brick, soft brick or Idk what brick? Also, help :c Im desperate

You only soft bricked it. Did you make backups of the UI before you changed things? If so it should be fairly simple to switch out the files and get the phone working again.

Bought a phone in the past few days, the LG Vortex (I'm broke). I rooted the phone with no problems, installed rom manager to boot into recovery mode (bad idea), the phone reboots and now it's stuck at the logo screen. I've tried everything to get this piece of crap to go into recovery, from hard reset button combo to trying to force it in adb. Unfortunately when I connect it to the computer, the computer doesn't even recognize the device. Am I screwd or is there some light at the end of the tunnel i'm missing?
Oh btw tried to take it to verizon to get a factory reset, the tech guy there looked at it for all of 1 minute, said that I rooted it and that my warranty was void. Anything I can do at all at this point?

Hi guys,
I just got my G flex 2 today and well... I bricked it.
TLDR;
I messed up my build prop and now my phone is stuck on boot screen.
I've had a few androids over the years and I anyways find that the lcd density needs a little tweaking.
The G flex 2 was no exception.
I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone and allow all apps to be used in split screen and change my Lcd density.
After a reboot most of my apps didn't work so I restored my build prop backup and rebooted again.
Now my phone is just stuck on the boot screen.
I've tried a factory reset but it's made no difference.
Has anyone else experienced this and can help?
Try to flash a factory image via lg flash tool.

I did try that last night but got nowhere with it.
I was half asleep though so I'll try again today and hope for the best.
Did you select the wipe option?
It will format the data before flashing everything.
I dont know what more you can do :S
I just took it back to the shop today and told them it never worked in the first place.
I don't like that I had to lie but, I couldn't face having a bricked phone for however long until we can flash custom recoveries/roms.
I'll be waiting for more developers to pitch in before messing around with this phone again.

i tried to unroot my lg g flex 2 us995 with SIMPLY UNROOT.APk. it was successful. but when i reboot my device it got stuck in boot at lg logo. its going to download mode. but not booting up. neither going to recovery,

So I was trying to revert back to Cyanogen from Oxygen OS and I don't know what exactly happened but I think I soft bricked my phone. I think I messed it up when I was in recovery mode before and I decided to try to install Cyanagen in the recovery mode. Now my phone can only go into fast boot mode and it wont go into recovery mode. All it does in recovery is constantly reboots itself until you let go of the buttons and then it gets stuck on the regular rebooting screen. I have no idea what to do now at this stage and pretty much have zero experience is stuff like this. Please can someone help me fix my phone. I'm honestly so scared that I bricked my phone. I've been trying to fix this for hours and I cant seem to figure it out.
Okay I'm a bit new to all this customization stuff and I've run into a problem. I was messing around with my rooted LG K7 and I accidentally deleted something I probably shouldn't have. My phone worked fine until I tried restarting it. Since then its been stuck in a boot loop. It shows the LG logo and doesn't move from there. I tried doing a hard reset, but nothing seems to work. I have the model AS330. Can anybody help me out?
