I bought one of these phones in Hong Kong last week and I would really like to get root.
I have downloaded the files and put them on box (cant post the link yet) for the benefit of anyone else.
If anyone can translate the Chinese I would appreciate it.

Sorry my English is not so good, but the level of my China Language is equal null

But I can't find a rule or description in English or German.
Question;
Has any friend experience to root and/or CMW for this devices?

i bought something similar the STAR N9589 and it has Quad Core 1.2Ghz
I must say for the price of $239 it aint half bad.
But i want to ask someon here how do i know it has 4 cpu cores in it? I have been tryin to find a good app on Google Play but haven't found one yet
can someone recommend one please?
AND if someone can provide an idiots guide to ROOTING android phones i would appreciate it as my search in here an else where shows ROOT for SPECIFIC PHONES only

GPS.conf don't exist at first onto device.
After store a changed to European specific file the cold fixing is arrived after 120s about.

Mine just arrived today and apart from it only having 4GB flash instead of the 8 that was advertised when I ordered it, all looks good.
You might try CPU Identifier to check on the device.

As i have a phone that has Android 4.1.2 and would love to update it to 4.2.1 .... not sure what the upgrade benefits are? Anyone got a link to show what the benefits are??

I've not seen the 0403 ROM yet but am running the 0323 ROM. It looks really good, my main issue is that the FM radio is stuck on mono.
Also, to enable EPO GPS assistance you need to enter the engineering menu: *#*#3646633#*#*

There seems to be no current root method for your device and carrier. I would suggest asking your question in the thread linked above to get some better exposure.

[Completed] Galaxy A7- Root Methods?

Just joined this site today but had known about it since forever... Anyways the reason I have joined this site in the first place is that there are many people who are so waiting for an exploit, a way to root our Samsung Galaxy A7 s . Many sites including this one claim to have the binary thats able to install super su binary properly but this has been tried numorous times on the Samsung Galaxy A7 SM-A700FD ( Any os version [4.4.4, 5.0, 5.0.2] but none work. They simply corrupt the os and it needs to be flashed its stock firmware in order to boot up but fortunatly there is no data loss. The point is that why does this site claim to have the proper root file while it doesnt and the main question is WHY HASNT ANYBODY COME UP WITH AN EXPLOIT ALREADY? while the phones release after this one have their own root processes already( Samsung). Its just a sincire request from me and a lot of other people out there, that please xda help us and create a proper root process for the Samsung Galaxy A7 ( SM-A700FD) .

I have tried the first method already but it does not work or support yet. But cai I be sure that the second method works? 'Cause I have the latest firmware installed but as a backup (in my PC) I have a firmware (lollipop) that is about two versions older. So i dont wanna corrupt my persent firmware ( i can flash the back up, no problem but just a cution)

It actually says that its for sm-a700f but does it work for the sm-a700fd? I could ask in that thread itself but actually im a junior (less than 10 posts) so I cant ask or post anything there

Thanks dude anyway. I rooted my A7 manually by first flashing the Galaxy A7 twrp recovery and the installing the supersu through the recovery.

I think it's a fake file. SM-T210/T210R is too closed-source. People have tried and failed to get Android 5.x to work on the Tab 3 7.0. If you want to try it, go ahead and then tell us what you think. It's your choice. I might even try it if it's good enough,

Where did you get the idea that it is for T210? The recovery.log inside the zip clearly states that the device is "sprout'" (Micromax).
