Hey guys, I created a free app to find out what's trending on Twitter. It can also connect to any twitter clients, such as Tweetdeck, Twidroyd, Seesmic, etc. The name of this app is What The Trending Topics
What The Trending Topics helps you find out what's trending on Twitter and why. When a new topic becomes popular on Twitter, it's listed as a "trending topic." These topics may take the form of short phrases (i.e. Michael Jackson) or hashtags (i.e. #iranelection or #WTFree).
Features:
Change trending location
List of trending topics by location
List of tweets by trending topics
Retweet, Reply, Share, and Tweet via many twitter apps (i.e. Tweetdeck, Twidroyd, Twitter, Seesmic, Twicca, Plume, TweetCaster, Seesmic, etc)
Explanation or reason about the trending topic (from What The Trend)
View tweet on twitter website
Click to collapse

While you browse, companies are tracking what you read, what you buy, what you click, and what you share. Ghostery detects scripts from Facebook, Google, and hundreds of other ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers - all companies interested in your activity. You can learn more about these data collection companies and block them from tracking your activity as you browse.
The Ghostery Privacy Browser is a full-featured web browser with functionality from our popular desktop tool built in. It's easy to configure and simple to use, allowing you to browse the mobile web with quick load times and exceptional privacy.

I've never used the mobile app, but I can vouch for the browser plugin being extremely useful and effective.
However, it occasionally blocks things I wouldn't mind seeing (e.g., comments sections of various webpages) or things powered by OAuth, Facebook connect, etc. In general, these are easy to unblock (there's couple of arrows where the blocked element would be, one to reload the page for single-time allowance, one for forever), but it's something that could complicate mobile browsing, especially on slower connections or if you have limited data.
I use ghostery alot on my dekstop pc.
Great to know it now available for mobile!

Subhash TweetsToRSS is a free Android app to anonymously follow an unlimited number of users, hashtags and topics on Twitter. (It is also available as a desktop app for GNU/Linux, Mac and Windows.) You don't have to follow a user to receive that person's tweets.
TweetsToRSS generates rich RSS feeds and clutter-free web pages for Twitter. It shows no ads either.
http://www.vsubhash.com/article.asp?id=128&info=How_to_create_RSS_feeds_for_Twitter
The output of TweetsToRSS is available for any RSS feed reader or web browser app. Once started, TweetsToRSS Server runs unobtrusively in the background and responds to HTML and RSS requests from browsers, feed readers and other apps. It does not store anything online or offline.
Unfortunately, many RSS feed readers don't know how to validate localhost URLs (generated by TweetsToRSS) and will refuse to add the links. TweetsToRSS works best with my Subhash Browser & Feed Reader app. This app can also automatically start TweetsToRSS in the background.
TweetsToRSS output includes the "tweet" text, original URLs (not the shortened ones), images (in full), geolocation, follower count, friends count, timestamp, "tweeting" software app/service, quoted (replied-to) tweets, favourite count, retweet count, etc. You can also choose to eliminate/include retweets. (In the desktop version, there is also an option to (base64) encode the images into the output so that Internet connection is not required to display them. This makes it truly self-contained for archiving and offline reading.)

On twitter don't load after login
Sounds interesting. I'll definitely use it as soon as the opportunity presents itself. The truth is, now I only use Facebook because I need it at work. Due to the quarantine, I had to start working from home, and I began to spend too much time on the Internet. So now I try to relax in my free time and devote it to other things. In general, I try to spend less time on social networks. I think this is a good practice. That's why I started downloading videos and watching them offline to avoid being distracted by correspondence and advertising. For this, I used https://rapidvideodownloader.com/.
