so i installed cromi-x 5.0.3 and now cant play any movies ive bought with google movies and ive tried reinstalling the rom updating gapps and even trying to find anouther app to play them but i was wondering if there was a way to fix it in cromi-x itself?

What is the actual problem? Mine play fine. Do you get an error message?
Please don't install gapps on top of cromi - it will break functionality. Just install google movies from the store and go. Note once you unlock google movies are no longer available in HD - complain to google about that one if that is your problem as I can't do anything about it unfortunately.

my issues is they wont load at all its happened on pervius devices like the nook tablet when it doesnt take a rom correctly or when theres an error in the rom not acepting google moives so i will try reinstalling it

I tried changing my bootanimation to the Android L one by downloading the flashable zip found here:

First off, it was obviously not meant for the screen size of the Moto G as it didn't work properly. So then I tried to change it back to the normal animation by Uninstalling Updates for Motorola Boot Services and hopefully then reinstalling the update from the play store.
Well, I can't find it on the play store when i search for it. I can find it in my apps list in the play store and then after clicking it I updated it. Oddly, it gives me an option to uninstall it. Im not gonna do that.
I downloaded the zip for the original one and replaced the Android L one via root explorer.
How can I find Boot Services in the Play Store again?

I can't find it in the play store either, but here is the apk, I pulled it from my Moto G.
Thanks for the apk but as I mentioned, I can't find it when Im searching for it but in my apps list where it shows all the apps that were ever installed on my device, I can see it and then update it from there.

I just did that now. I was expecting to see an update for it along with the whole list of google apps that need to get updated when you reset your phone. But the problem still persists.
How is this a problem at all??

It wont pop up as an update. Im not sure if my bootanimation will even change from updates to this app anymore.

Hi. When I update my CM to next nightly, my Play Store keeps disappearing. I noticed that, that started when I installed modded play store with lucky patcher. Now I must install play store manually after each update. It's not big problem, but I want to get rid of it. Anyone knows what to do?
What I do is after I flash an update I also re-flash the gaps zip. Not sure why that happens though.
I'm on the Validus 5.0.1 ROM and have had issues flashing gapps whenever needed s ones come out. I lose my account and can't use YouTube play store and so on. Also I've been wanting to update my play services and clicking the apk gives me "app not installed"... How do I fix this issue as well? Lastly my DPI is set at 400. Thanks for any help

Always flash Gapps after flashing a ROM that needs it, even if you are flashing an update, flash Gapps as well.
What if I like the ROM I have but want the new updated gapps? When I just flash gapps over my current ROM from 12-3 it screws things up.
I've had similar issues with several gapps packages.

They should work fine on your DPI.

Thanks. I noticed my play services says 438... Is that an issue? Have you been able to update your gapps to the newer versions after using these?

Strangely Google Play store still says it's up-2-date.
I know some updates have already been released, but I'll wait for the dev from these Gapps to present an update as I'm having no issues with these whatsoever.

OK thank you. I tried flashing black nights play store and YouTube and got errors because play services was not updated. Never ever had these issues before. The gapps I've flashed are bpears that don't require reflashing if flashing a ROM update. Wonder if that is the issue.
I recently put on lollipop (cm 12.1), on my samsung galaxy nexus (nexus 3(GSM/Maguro)). I tried installing google play games, but it did not work and gave the error 505. i installed all the other apps I had before I factory reset the phone, but for some reason google play games is the only app that gave that error.
Can someone please help me fix this issue?

Hello,
I guess the app needs to be installed in system.
After you installed cm12.1, you need to flash the entire gapps package. So you can have google play games installed and working.

After I've installed the official oreo update, play store gives me error 501 if I try to install antutu and pcmark. I didn't try any other apps so far. Is there anyone, who has the same problem? Tried uninstalling play store and play services updates, clear data, nearly anything I can think of.
Same thing for me... Will try later. Phone's working great !

Maybe you need to activate "developer" and then allow installing 3rd party app ?

It can't be activated for play store, but when i try to install the apk it says error parsing the package. And no, no corrupt download, tried more than 3 times. I start to think, that somehow Huawei blocked these apps.
Used to happen with me on an earlier Oreo build but not anymore. It used to give an error on all benchmark apps on the store. Everything else works perfectly fine but Benchmark apps were somehow blocked apparently.
But now I'm running a newer build of Oreo (8.0.0.360) and they work perfectly fine. Try updating your phone if it's not on it already.

As I said, it's the latest official version for eu (8.0.0.361), updated through HiCare.
