And for me best version by Serge00700 modded by Mr.BlackSK on www.androidforum.cz : https://mega.co.nz/#!GJMFCCTa!bhueqAMGlnTmkYgW4A_tI2N_dd0KCAwiqQ5TnLAmPgA

Hi,
Im running serg00700 4.2.2 port. I post some screenshots here.
Everything works, I like it
I will try this Mr.BlackSK version ASAP.

Today i tested first rom, by Serge00700:.. IMO this rom is buggy. No 3G sim card switch option (without opening phone ), gprs crash, no polish language etc... CPU voltage is incorect, and CPU is too hot.

I tesded the third one for 2days. It works fine and really smooth. First i dont have mobile data, but it was a simple mistake... just a wrong APN setting, so i set it manually, and the promlem solved!

Hello, On firmware from serg00700, flashlight turned on by pressing the volume keys + and - when turned off and the screen is locked

You can download SetDNS on GooglePlay and set "Level 3" try!
Ah doesn't work and so doesn't the other options, do I have to clear data from the play store in manage applications after setting? ( I read it on some android forum after searching on Google)
YES IT WORKS! I had to just reboot the phone thankyou!

I guess you don´t have "P" version. Other people who tried non "P" ROM on I9070P bricked their phones - it´s verified. So your instruction is quite dodgy...
I put an exact tutorial how to use jellybean 9070 roms on 9070P
please, do mention not to use ODIN for such operations
in short:
1.you have to flash your proper fw via odin (ie the one for 9070P)
2.use temp recovery and flash a custom 9070 ROM with /system/lib/tee files replaced
3.if you wish, flash cocore kernel 5.6.2
4.if you still wish, flash deodexed xxlqb over that (it replaces only /system/app and /system/framework, so all the tweaks from custom rom and binaries stay intact)
----
details here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191628

sorry i don't see ur topic
but why i try this , when i can just flash the official rom with odin to get JB

because it's highly probable you'll eventually end up with brick
maybe you were lucky, but search the forum and you will find numerous posts stating their i9070P devices were bricked after flashing i9070 roms with odin. the method described by me seems safe for NFC devices so far, although demands some more steps than just ODIN flash

Tested and working roms for ace 2 (gt-i8160 or codina)

The last month i've tired searching roms and i cant find all them so i do this post to get all roms (i will add them when i have time)
to flas this roms you must do this first:
you must update yout phone to 4.x.x with odin and to the baseband I8160XXMC8
links:
XXMB2
XXMB4
XXMC8
must be checked the following buttons only:
Re-partition", "Autoreboot" y "F.Reset Time
files in odin:
a) Click on PDA and select file with Code in its name
b) Click on Phone and select file with Modem in its name
c) Click on CSC and select file with CSC in its name
d) Click on PIT and select the .pit file
Samsung Usb Drivers
do the same in order with MB2,MB4,And Mc8 to get 624 ram mb (recomended)
or do direcly the Mc8 and you will get 555 mb (not recomended)
Temporal CWM for ace 2 (to flas the final rom)
Custom roms list:
People that are already on XXMC8
Roms to chose:
Cm11 Teamcanjica (no big bugs on this version)
http://d-h.st/ycf
OmniRom 4.4.4 Teamcanjica (More or less stable)

+ for you, because i think it's good idea to make such post for others, even, if it's subjective.
Which screen driver do you have(rommakers usually are skipping this bit of information, but it may be really useful for SOME users)?
btw, i agree, that liq is best of kk roms, but...it has some..well, issues.

Good job, and my respect is even bigger knowing that you are young fellow, non english native speaker...
Wish you enough will to continue and expand your little project, although i think your tests should last bit longer (for now it's more like first impressions).
And i don't think that Roms you pointed as non-working really don't work, people would mention about it...
Anyway, good job, once again

I said that dont work on my decive... This roms yes work but its more difficult to install them because you need to flas first the specifik stock rom that they're based and on my pc odin doesn't work (400 mhz and 128 mb of ram =) ) it's too old.
If you test them you can send to me your opinions and add them as working and tested roms.
Thanks

You must upgrade your phone to 4.1.2
then you must use a tempory CMW, and flash your rom to your phone
sorry for my bad english
The best form me is CM11 from TC, but in the new build you should checge minimal fraq to 200mH because of 100mH battery drain.
I'm using 4.4.4 from novafusion.pl. Very good, no problems with phone.
Great idea to have a central place for people to find ROMs. No doubt, CM is always a good choice but if you like pure Android I can also recommend this AOSP ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588054

I would love it too! For stability, I prefer it to be samsung based, like what we have from @gtbluesky. Ideally would be awesome to have it Marshmallow based

Do these ROMs have the slight but constant micro-stuttering that the stock ROM has?
I guess all these ROMs are loaded with Google's stuff?
With the exception of Play Store I'd like to be free of the Google fleet of useless apps.
It's great that you've been able to port these ROMs. I hope a lot of people use them. I just have different needs! Tx.

Yes, all of them. You can "freeze" or delete unwanted Google apps. Do it manually or try to find scripts which can do this automatically.
Hi, I was thinking to buy this tablet.
Can these ROMs fix the issue of too high brightness even at the lowest level?
If not can you recommend a free application to solve the problem?
Better this or teclast m89 pro? Thanks.

To solved this brightness issue I use the sFilter app or any other blue light filter app.
But to tell the truth, I wouldn't recommend to buy any Teclast tablet. I have a problem where he doesn't accept the installation of Instagram or Facebook app. I saw that many people have the same problem.
Anyone else with this problem or know how to solve?

I added solution, check it and let me know if it works for u
It's possible to change brightness limits manually by editing firmware files, If there's a big problem for u and other users I can change its' range sometime. Just let me know what firmware u are using.
Hello dev!
Are you still working on this device firmware? I bought it this month and not even on official site could find updates for, so I don't know if there is any firmware that I should update before using these that you made...
I'm using Pixel Experience and found it great. But I had problems with the initial setup, which always had trouble trying to recover the configuration of another device. When I checked to set up as a new device it work fine.
I could not open Magisk too, but i wanted to disable it and remove, but always shows error when trying. I'll try MIUI in sequence to see if I can.
Another question: The modified Stock has gapps included? (and can I remove root?)
Thank you so much for your work, I was happy to know that have other firmware for this tablet.
PS.: sorry for the "google translator english", my english is poor. lol

I used the modified rom too and liked a lot, but I couldn't install some apps through the playstore and had problems to remove root (Magisk). So I installed ASUS ROM and it is very stable and everything is working great. I'll leave it and see what happens!
Thanks!

Hello!
1) There is no more firmwares to port for our device. Also I don't know much about modding firmwares, so Pixel was my first successful experiment.
2) Latest official firmware for our device is TOS v2.1 which can be found in appropriative thread here. Seems no more updates will be released for our device.
3) Restoring function is bad idea esp on custom ROM. You should always make clean installation.
4) Custom ROMs can only boot with root access (e.g. Magisk). You cant uninstall it. In other case your device wont boot (Android 7.0 classical issue). P.S Magisk is not like "classic" root, so you can "hide" it for apps that don't work on rooted device.
5) Of course stock ROM includes Gapps. All made changes are listed in topic. Root can'f be removed on any custom ROM (see p.4).

Thank you!
I gave the tablet to my son, the Stock ROM that came on it is'nt good and so I put the ASUS ZenUI ROM. (After testing all others)
I hide Magisk and the ROM is working perfectly.
Thank you so much for the great work.
Happy 2020.
