using CWM 5.0 i tried flashing 4 different roms and still getting the same error , now phone is stuck in recovery can anyone help ????
I would suggest using a previous version of CWM
There is a 5.0.1.0 out now.
Maybe when rom manager asked you which phone you had you picked Google Nexus S, which is wrong if you have 4g version
Hi All,
I have rooted my Samsing Galaxy S i9000, installed ROM Manager and have flashed the ClockworkMod Recovery ver 2.5.1.2.
When I reboot into recovery though, it says at the top of the screen:
Android system recovery <3e>
Lower down it says:
-- Installing package...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Can someone please tell me how to flash the ClockworkMod recovery please? Thanks in advance.
Try redownloading the rom and flash it again.
my rom shows this error while flashing
"assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img","boot")"
any ideas??
something's wrong with the updater script.
post it here and some dev might tell you the corrections.
