As I remember each CM for our devices need to be installed ONTO stock ROM to get SIM working. Flash stock ROM>flash CM10 kernel>install CM via CWM without wiping system, just data.

i am using tipo dual sim just to be sure.

I tried to flash the "Unofficial CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1" but I'm stuck on bootloops. The device just doesn't makes it to the home screen. It keeps booting up.
I did the dalvik wipe then format system then installed the zip then wiped cache and data. And rebooted the device. But bootloops.
I've tried RazoDroid v4 it worked great. After many unsuccessful attempts i'm back on Razodroid now. Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, I did all that. I just found the problem. The SIM card is the problem. I just happened to remove the SIM and did the flashing process, the ROM works fine. But with the SIM it reboots. I don't know if there's any solution to it other than changing SIM cards

Hey its the sim card problem. Cyanogenmod does not support some sim cards. So its our badluck. Im also an aircel user. And i also face this problem. I think bsnl,mtnl,aircel have this problem. And theres no solution other than changing simcard. Same like you im also currently using razodroid v4 after trying out several cm(which dont work) and non-cm roms. :good:

Its the SIM issues I figured it out Yes I flashed it through CWM
I installed FXP220. Along with it, i also installed Z-Fusion MOD. Everything works fine except that there is no network coverage. I can't call or send SMS. Also Sony's *#*#7378423#*#* doesn't work.

Are you flash it from jb?? If so, try to reflash it from ics,,

Install stock rom first, flash fxp kernel and then flash fxp220.
ServiceMenu.apk is not included on cm10, that's why *#*#7378423#*#* doesn't work

Mine is not XJ, mine is Tipo(SS).

Hi friendz
I recently bought an Xperia U tim branded phone
and i inserted an airtel sim in it and it just worked fine
then later i removed the airtel sim and inserted my aircel sim to make use of aircel 3g
but then i cant acces internet in the play store or any other preinstalled apps
bt the internet can be accessed by using only UC Browser or Opera Classic
other apps show an error called as Eroor 403
then i flashed my phone using the flash tool and the generic ginger bread ftf file
an updated my cell to ics version using the SEUS
Now my phone is working fine if i use the airtel sim
bt the same problem exists if i use the aircel sim .......
plz help me friendz

Thnx for ur reply dude bt i just flashed it with the same generic ftf and made an repair using SEUS and now my phone jst works fine with the official ICS 4.04
I havent rooted it or unlocked the boot loader
Bt i am going to root my phone very soon

Unlock bootloader is needed when u want to flash custom kernel. For example, to flash cm10 u need to use custom kernel. So that is the point.

If u want ur phone stable, stick with stock, if u wanna different ui + performance go for cm10.

So you're simlocked? Or does your phone not detect your SIM?
If it's number one, you can't fix it with software. Your motherboard needs to be changed.
If it's number two. Try to flash a stock firmware .ftf for your device. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just ask

For custom rom you need CWM
For CWM you need Custom Kernel
For Custom Kernel you need Unlocked Boatloader.
Your boatloader can not be unlocked so it can't Flash Custom ROM sorry bro. Flash ICS from E dual

If you install ICS, you still won't be able to unlock your bootloader.
Deodexing might possible, but I have no idea how.

Do you know the easiest way to deodex stock JB rom?, i tried to deodex it with xUltimate and i always got error
You can deodex a rom in locked bl as well.
