[Q] [E] Force-update through SUS by changing region codes - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hey xda!
I danced around the XDA forums a bit in the light of this, but nothing was clear (to me)
So I thought, why not ask everyone?
As all user's know, a firmware upgrade has been released for the Xperia E ( the one that ends with .23)
It hasn't been released in India yet but I was getting very impatient(because all the major improvements in stability and RAM consumption)- so I thought of this.
Now the question- Does someone know EXACTLY which codes I have to change, and where they are located?? (I think it's build.prop and cust.prop)
Also can you tell me the codes of the country in which the update has been released??

k bro, 1 Question...
Sony says latest update for this phone is 11.2.A.31
But phone shows 11.2.A.21.... why ???
That depends on region. Quick way is to use .ftf or you can mod build string in build.prop or use pc companion - repair.

[Q] Searching NFC lockscreen|screenoff|unlocked mod for Xperia L (C2104|C2105)

Hello everyone!
This is my first thread :victory: I'm not english speaking so sorry for the errors
My question is actually in the thread name... I'm looking all over the internet and these forums but I couldn't find the answer...
Is there a NFC mod for the Xperia L (or could someone make one) ? I would like to use NFC while my phone is in sleep (screenoff).
Or does somebody knows where I can find it? I tried most of the NFC mods I could find but I got always the same error: "Nfc service has stopped working" when my phone finished to boot...
Im under the original 1.5.0.A.1.31 rom with the Vengance 1.25 Kernel...
I posted the original Nfc.apk + odex of the phone and the nfc-handover.apk... (I don't know if the last one is needed)
Thanks in advance!
Hi! Since you talk about NFC, I would like to ask how to transfer files from one NFC device to another..
I tried it last night with a friend who owned Xperia Z(mine is XL, of course).. but it does not transfer.. why?
I tapped a picture, from the Album app of Sony, with the XZ back to back with my XL..but nothing happens..
Hope I can get the right way to do it.. thanks!
:highfive:
I couldn't tell you how to do...
I have only 1 NFC compatible phone, so I can't try it for you but I found this on the Sony website:
userguide.sonymobile.com/referrer.php?region=global-nl&product=xperia-l#!NFC.html
Hope it helped you out !
I have used NFC with Nokia Lumia 620 it worked i was able to receive contacts from lumia

ask your friend exactly what he did and why did the sony guys refuse fixing?
Small tip from me: never let a ''friend'' do things with your device. If you wreck it, it's your fault. If I were you, I would demand my ''friend'' to fix it in any possible way.
I know its my fault but i thought he can do it.
i asked him and he said this :
1- he made an update from ICS to JB so the Bluetooth and Wireless stopped working with sim card coz we are from Syria.
2- he tried to fix it by Dose programs but unfortunately he damaged it.
after i worked in a new device that i bought Xperia SL .
and i learned alot about android i found the problem is he damaged the MAC address for the Xperia J and in this Module Bluetooth and Wireless in the same chip
NOTE: i didnt find any file in SYSTEM for wireless or Mac address
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr0
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr1
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr2
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr3
and there is no wlan folder
so im trying to find what is happening plz any help ?
is there anyway to reset everything i mean even MAC ADDRESS
and thanks for your interest .
Any help??!!!
