Hello!
I have a 2012 nexus 7 and a galaxy s4 and was wondering if there was anyway I could sync my game data from one device to the next. Its mostly for the game subway surfer for right now. I am unrooted on both so I was not sure if there was a way. Any information could help.
Thank you!!!
I think syncing game progress is impossible. But you can use "adb backup [something] -f [something].ab" and "adb restore [something].ab" to transfer the game data between devices.

Via XDA App
Sorry my bad English.

Would be cool with NFC.

sorry if this is the wrong place, just wonder if exist or someone dev can develop an application that shows the last time an application has been update in play store so if an app is not developed since long time i can check in playstore if there is a valid alternative.
cheers and thanks.
What? You can do that from the play store itself.

yes but i have a lot of apps and i want to be able to list and sort by update age it's an idea i know that can be done manually.
bump?
Try Changelog Droid from the market. It keeps history of your updates and shows when the app was last updated.

good suggestion but the upgrade "day" mentioned in this app is the day when you upgraded it not when the dev has released the upgade

Perhaps that's true, but how long do you usually wait before updating an app in the market? If you update the same day or even the next day, it's still pretty accurate, no?

the problem comes if you are a flash-aholic and restore from titanium after a clean full wipe flash of a rom.
In that case, you might be better off with a website that you can add your current apps on and it gives dates or details for when dev updates were issued.
I use something like that for ios, but I'm not sure what's available for Android apps.

tried but it does not import installed application by default and i'm not sure if it is possibile to list the application sorting last update (on play store) order.
Try MarketMarks.
You'll have to add your own apps there, but it will check for recent updates which you can't sort.
Not really sure what else would work. What are you trying to accomplish with what you're looking for?

Would like to list my applications installed currently and sort for last update (market day of update) to check which one does not has been updated since long time and maybe then Search by myself for a better and newer alternative in the play store
Is anyone else having problems with this today? I've tried it on a couple different devices and it just force closes. I'm really irritated because I use it all the time

Same "Force Close" here on my Motorola Defy (Android 2.3.7 / Cyanogenmod 7 Nightly by maniac103) and on my Nexus 7 (Android 4.2.2 / SmoothROM 5.1).

Yeah. Just stopped working all of a sudden at work. I am using a modified version which is just transparent. Tried a bunch of stuff including uninstalling , clearing data and just copying into system app folder and rebooting. Nothing. Came home and it is not working on my other two phones which are note2's. Weird. I am guessing it is a server side issue. I highly suspect that because Google was having server issues today. Worst case scenario is Google has discontinued service to the widget.

Looks like it's working again now.

Same problem here..
It was not working yesterday, so I uninstalled it and I tried to re-install it using a backup of titanium (I'm rooted) made just a couple of days before.. But the system refuses to install it! I don't know what's going on!! Very very unusual

Ouch Microsoft needs to make a ton of changes if they want to become a serious contender in mobileOS. The only thing that pushed me to buy the surface over a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2013) is Microsoft Office since I'm a student.

Well in my case its network related. My download speed rarely (if ever) peaks above 200kb/s and the ping times to the microsoft store are terrible, it seems to be incredibly sensitive to connection timeouts.

Ouch. That's not my case though and still sometimes the store will move at a snails pace meanwhile everything else I do is blazing fast.
You guys tried googling it? I found an answer somewhere involving troubleshooting the Windows Update service and clearing store cache.

Hi guys!
From what I read there used to be an Google Maps app created by Beowulf. It's gone from the market now.
I wasn't able to find another Google Maps app yet. Does anyone know what the holdup is to build an app that displays the map with your GPS-Position and the stars for favs in it?
That is an Open Street Map alternative, but it wants permissions I don't want this app to have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That would be great if it is functional!
The reason it's no longer in the play store is because the dev received complaints from Google and pulled the app.
Source: I contacted the dev (Sascha Loffler) regarding the availability of his Google Maps app and received a prompt reply. The alternative suggested to me was the GPS Maps for Smartwatch app that's currently available, which uses Open Street Maps and offers no Google Maps integration.
I can only assume if/when Google release their own smartwatch, services that are not currently accessible by 3rd parties will be its main focus, like a proper Google Now interface and Maps notifications!

That's a shame, a good turn by turn maps extension would a nice addition to the SW2.

Smart Directions provides Google API based turn by turn instructions and works very well. But it has no Map functionality.
It supports instructions for walking, driving etc.

Looks great... though it sounds like they only give distances in metrics? Still may give it a try, since it looks like a great walking directions tool.
Hello, sorry that i had to remove the app from the play store.
after the complain i never heard back from google so i think i am forced to keep it that way.
the turn by turn navigation looks interesting and i was also already thinking to implement something like that.

hmm perhaps you could share the sources.
Did they complain because your app did cost 2 euros? Or will they complain also complain if the app is free?
Gesendet von meinem GT-N7100 mit Tapatalk
Hello,
the app was always free so it had nothing to do with that.
Since the complain was that it violated against the Terms of Service i also can't provide it here.
If you miss anything in the new GPS Maps App for Smartwatch 2 you can always send me a message and i will see what i can do.
The code of the first Maps app which used Google Maps was a mess anyway. It was one of my first android apps and included a lot of hacking and workarounds to have it working.
hi guys is there any app that can turn my note 3 in a secrete phone? that cant be bugged? i need to do secret sms and calls.
In general there are several ways to expand your mobile privacy, but unfortunately we have too few information to help you further, the best way is to explain exactly what you want.
If you want to lock out NSA for example, you can give up nearly all your hopes.

Do you want to encrypt the transmitted data or hide calls and SMS from other eyes on your phone?

This service gives you only an advantage if you have control over the privacy on your phone. You can encrypt what you want but if your phone shares the key you didn't get any step further. At first you should look for an appropriate service to ensure that apps get only those types of information they really should get. After that measurement you can think about high level privacy protection.
And maybe you should think about the fact why you transfer sensible data anyway over a mobile connection and if it's necessary.
