This Rom like PAC MAN and other custom roms is having the same problem which we also have in CM 10.2 too i.e. After Reboot, it stuck at Galaxy R Screen. no matter what we do, the device doesnt boots up again.
this is the only thing that is keeping many users from using 4.3.
I know you dont own Galaxy R anymore and it is difficult to do development but is there any chance that you could solve this "Stuck at Galaxy R Screen" problem?

As its a new project of Team Equilibrium. If possible, try to Provide Log-cat to Team Equilibrium. BTW, Grarak, callmeventus & Tha Technocrat can also help in this regard, if you will provide Log-Cat.

@Nikhil whenever your phone is stuck at the galaxy logo. Press the power button for 10 seconds. Hard reboot is a workaround until we can find a reason for this problem . If that doesn't then take out the battery and restart the phone.

tried hard reboot many times.
tried removing battery
tried clearing dalvik caches
tried rebooting from recovery
tried normal shut down and manually booting.
nothing works for me.
i wonder how it is working for you.

There are currently no threads on here with the cyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies so ill give you the link for you to try Android 4.2.1;

I found it about a week ago and tried it for a few days and the main glitch which I noticed was it would sometimes crash after you made a phone call. But thats all I noticed.
I am off course not the maker of this rom so don't thank me for it lol. Credit goes to the team behind the project.
The link goes straight to the download page of the rom so just choose the latest and it will be the usuall to intall ie. 1. Cwm 2. Factory reset 3. Wipe cache 4. Wipe dalvik cache. Enjoy!
I am not reaponsible if this bricks your phone as it wont if you follow the steps correctly. If you post all the issues you are having with the rom ill see about getting them to the team responsible for develpment to help iron out the bugs.

everytime i try to install the 20121221 version, i can't connect my wifi. when i try to connect, it just saves my wifi connection, but it won't connect.. it doesn't happen with previous version.. any solution guys?
and also, on cm10.1, i'm always get sms verification failed on whatsapp no matter what i do.. i think it works with another phone number, but it rejects mine.. :crying:

I had the same issue last night when I tried it, wi-fi wouldn't connect, I thought it was something wrong with my router, restarted it and still it wouldn't want to connect. Too bad, nice rom, nice features.

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your ace plus ,
- Read known issues ans FAQs
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery or TWRP link
- Copy GApps and CM10 or CM10.1 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery (hold Volume Down+volume up+home+power at boot)
- Flash CM10 or CM10.1 zip from SDCard cm10 or cm10.1
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard{ for cm 10 or for cm 10.1}
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
coming from another ROM:
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (just to make sure u don't get fc not a necessary step)
- Flash CM10 or CM10.1 zip from SD Card
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard

if you have installed rom before also you should wipe data and dalvik before flashing new system files

AND NOW EACH AND EVERY CONTACT IS REPEATED 5-6 times in my "contacts list"
and in contacts if i go to delete some of them
i cant do it because it is needed to be deleated one by one !!!!!
I HAV OVER 200 contacts that too each contact repeated 5-6 times THAT means approx. 1000 contacts
It'll Need a day to delete the contacts one by one !!

to enable development option you have to click build number in setings>about >build number 5 6 times this will enable it

I flashed the newest build of the rom yesterday and for some reason my WhatsApp notification sounds are not playing. The phone is vibrating and the pop-up notifications show, but I hear no sound... But for SMSes and phone calls the phone is playing sound. Why on earth will this be?

About the kernel:
This is an almost "stock" kernel for Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5.
Since we don't have any kernel source, i ported One XL 4.2.2 kernel to One S.
I tested it with MaximusHD and everything is working like stock orignal closed-source kernel, so this is a base for future custom kernels

If you have been following the zenROM thread, me and usaff22 were trying to do the same, but the kernel never booted past the boot animation(technically it did, but nvm) and so we put it on hold until we had a booting kernel..
Now I don't have much time, since I got exams.. So maybe @usaff22 could help in the port of 4.2.2 based Sense..

basically com.android.phone problem and nfc (we don't have nfc)
maybe @usaff22 already know the problem...how i can fix network signal and remove nfc stuff?

EDIT2: maybe i found the most important problem: sd cards (internal partition of course) seems not mounted, it will not save picture (camera and camcorder should be working): "Unable to save file to storage card due to insufficient file permissions", and i think it's a kernel problem, since i have the same behaviour with Sense 4+ too
I will post logcat and dmesg and try to fix sdcard mount
did you do anything to rom? like any kind of porting?

The mount error might be from the Rom
I'm going to try with the kernel and stock 4.2.2 to see if I can help in any way nice work

you left out a bunch of the fuse_sdcard stuff and other things fuse uses
but we dont need to emulate SDcard like other devices do since we have partiiton

i checked with adb and sdcard is mounted correctly, so maybe it's rom related

After boot problems
I did some searching, but not found this bug, so I'll share:
After boot there is no PIN dial, nothing. Just black screen and status bar. But it reacts, even vibrate on touch so I can insert my PIN blind way. Additionally my wallpaper is removed, and replaced by black background.
This happens after every boot. v1.5
Bluetooth problem on Spirit v1.6
I've installed Spirit 1.6 on a gt-i9105p but I'm having some problem with bluetooth headsets: I can hear voice but on the other side they hear only noise. Is it a known issue? Thanks.

Not every rom include root..look at the omni rom for example...and the first few build of CM12...btw yeah..spirit include root access

I know that You guys have a loot things to do, but could You PLEASE port that new version 1.7 to our galaxy s II plus? I'm waiting for it since last year! For me, the lollipop are still too buggy, I've checked it and I do not like it. I want to stay in Your spirit 4.4.4. this is the best kitkat mod ever and I badly need that 1,7 update. please, do not forget about galaxy s2 users... I have seen that i9100 users have 1,7 already.

Successfully installed on my L22 with CM build 26/07.
I am having few things that does not work.
1. HDR hangs
2. Photos which are taken, are not saved into gallery
3. Do I need root permissions???? (I have root access disabled)
Please suggests remedy.
I have same problem with the 7/30 Cm 13 build.
Essentially, once you attempt to take a picture, the picture never gets saved and the app doesn't recognize any further screen presses. I have to use the back button to back out of the application.

Flashed but not working on 30th July unofficial nightly build. tried couple of ways
1- flashed zip and reboot - not worked
2- flashed zip and clear cache/dalvik- not worked.

I did the same steps and got an error result on PAC-Rom (by @yuweng)

do i need to uninstall any previous camera apps?

Just tried it in Krexus with no prior camera app installed...still getting FC

If you are running CM it uninstalls with the next CM update. Otherwise you can try Titanium
