[Q] Chameleon OS or CM 10.1 for Xperia S

Hi,
I wanted to install a ROM in my Xperia S, I have Bootloader unlocked ,recovery installed , latest kernel from sony installed and rooted...
And I'm thinking to install one of this two ROMS:
Chameleon OS or CM 10.1: Both based on 4.2.2 and openSemc. What did you prefer? what did you recomend?

i personally would go with cm 10.1 this would be your choice, its not like its a one time thing you can only flash one rom and thats it, try them both out see what differences you see , please please please please be sure to make a backup of your stock rom first we dont want you to break your device or not like CM or Chameleon and not be able to get back to your stock rom. enjoy!

Im installing CM10.1 to try it and in a few days I will try ChameleonOS.

if you are gamer & want stable build then try this : Techkang's CM 10.1
Download kernel v3 build one its more stable than older, gives better performance while gaming.

i usually play heavy games
just want too know will i able to play most wanted, gangter vrgas/rio, and airbone
my kernel version is 2.x.xxxx
and will i hav to root first or does it support auto root
and will my android version run on 4.4.2
and m not able to download it.. plz send download link too

Between CM 10 and CM 10.1 I would recommend CM 10.1 its more stable than CM 10
The rom is pre rooted so no need to root
If u want u can also flash CM 10.2 which is on android version 4.3.1

SAMFLARE v6.3
PURE XPERIA Z2
JELLY XPERIA
TOUCHWHIZ REDEFINED
ETC ETC...
:fingers-crossed: NOTE 3 COLOSSUS rom was quite fluent but i didnt liked it due to that system ui has stopped working.. xposed installer solution didnt gave any result it was useless..
:fingers-crossed: MIUI rom was very uncomfortable for me as i didnt had any experience of using it before..
:fingers-crossed: Samflare v6.3 had wifi issue even if a used all the patches included..
:fingers-crossed: PURE XPERIA Z2 had the problem camera has stopped working i tried the patch also
:fingers-crossed: jelly xperia also had wifi issue which was resolved after a reboot but later again appeared
NOW I M USING TOUCHWHIZ REDEFINED BY SAI WHICH IS BUGLESS I DIDNT FOUND ANY TILL NOW I M USING IT FROM 2 DAYS..

Dear Prateek,
Presently iam also in the same situation, tried samflare v5, samflare v6.3, colossis, chrizel note three, sf multi window etc...
in all these ROMs I feel Samflare V5.1 is the best and bug less. After tried all these I go to First used ROM SFV5.1. If other than this ROM you found any thing better, smooth and bug less ROM please share your view and reviews with us. Thanks in Advance.

xperia themes for xperia L ( i want help )

hi all i was searching for about 3 months on how to install xperia 4.3+ themes on xperia l mobile phone because they didn't release 4.3 stock firmware for sony xperia L and when i installed CM11 and cm12 i installed them but i couldn't use them so if there is a way to do this please tell me thanks

you couldn't use the themes because they are for xperia theme engine not for CM12 theme engine .
if you want a good theme for CM12 you can use This.
And if you want to use xperia theme
1. install the latest stock rom .
2.go HERE and install this mod.
3.install any theme for xperia theme engine .

ok thanks i saw this topic before and link was broken if i found z2 frame work and a way to make my stock rom deoxode this would be help full ... and why they don't make flashable themes to just flash it and get setuped ? they know that 4.2.2 roms can't setup xperia 4.3 themes ! or it's hard for them ?
i have UBL and rooted phone with TWRP 2.7.0.0 recovery setuped

if you want to make your rom deodex you can try This.
And why don't you instal CM12 so you can use it's theme engine and in general it's better looking than stock rom .
Anyway I will post a request in "Z2 framework Thread" to mirror the link

I love stock ROM more because it doesn't make sudden crushes and bad slow or battery dieing easily... And my motherboard will be burnet if I installed another ROM that what they said in Sony factory after fixing a problem in charging in my phone
Any way but I like xperia 4.3 themes more :$ and thanks if u uploaded the frame work and thanks for help with how to deoxoed my ROM ??

galaxy J1 ace [sm j110m] CM 12 build

hi guys, i have played around a bit with flashing custom roms for years now and always wanted to do a build,
i would like to port/build a cm12.1 for my j1 ace running stock rooted LP 5.1.1 i have done a bit of googling etc.. so i have an small idear
for thoughs of you that have done porting form a Samsung stock rom could you kindly point me in the right direction and some tips

hi is there any marsmallow custom roms for the samsung galaxy j1 ace (sm-j110m) i have flashed TWRP 3.0.2 recovery through odin on my 5.1.1 stock rom an have rooted the device with UPDATE-SuperSu-v2.46.zip through TWRP also flashed xposed v85.1-sdk...20160530.zip

no sorry I didn't I just stayed with the stock rooted rom an used exposed framework to add what custom thing I wanted in the rom like wanam exposed module which work amazing on this device which gives thing like advanced power menu like one in a cm rom an a lot more also hides modified status of the firmware.i also ran root cloak module in exposed to hide root status from apps the won't run on a rooted device like bank apps an apps like tvnz which will tell you that you are rooted or jailbroken an will not run.

I think that exposed is the only way to get a good custom rom fell out of a stock rom for devices that get left out.in most cases it will work better as everything is stable.an will have minimal bugs if any.an there are a lot of modules in the exposed respiratory to make a great custom rom out of your stock rom

You can't make CM to this device because it has a Marvell processor, and marvell heavely modified aosp implementation thats why you cant make LOS/CM/AOSP roms- I can try to port CM13 for you but i guarantee 90% that half of the functions will not work
