Hey guys,
Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I have a Razr HD originally Fido and have unlocked it, both network unlock and bootloader and also Rooted the phone.
I'm tired of seeing the Rogers emblem on boot, and I remember seeing somewhere how to remove it but I can't find it after a couple hours searching. I got rid of the unlocked boot loader screen already, so I'm half way there
Any help would be much appreciated!

Is the Rogers logo a part of the boot logo or the boot animation? If it's part of the boot logo, you can find a thread in here by Zooyork that has boot logos that can be replaced by flashing them in recovery. If it's the boot animation, you can find anyone that you like, make sure it is designed for our screen size, and then replace the original in system/media.
I meant to post back actually, the rogers emblem is in the boot animation.zip. I replaced it with a droid logo from the RAZR m I believe. Looks awesome and no more carrier branding.
It is most excellent thanks for the response!

Good, glad to see you got it taken care of.

I purchased an HTC trophy launch kit phone for Verizon from Ebay. I would like to know how I can get rid of the demo loop on the phone and get the phone to work like one without the loop. How can I get this phone to factory status without the loop? I have tried a few different things but none work. Right now the phone boots up and plays demo and that is it. I can't access anything it just says .....loading.... and doesn't open anything. If someone could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Maybe flashing a rom from here will solve your problem...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=924333
I've tried about 4 of those different roms and one of them is what put the device in it's current state. When trying to install a rom now it doesn't even recognize the device. Does this device need to be unlocked before installing a rom? I would like to know step by step how to resolve this issue. Which rom would be best for me to use? Since this is a Verizon device I figured the Verizon rom would work correct? I cant check any info on the phone. Thanks.
The demo kits are set up for use as store demos, you may be stuck.

you should try the razr section im sure you can get plenty of help there!
I've flashed quite a few androids with custom ROMs, all successful except one brick was beyond repair. Then my brother asked me to root and flash a custom ROM to his T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G (Model: T959V). So I gave it a shot. Rooting was successful, but trying to get Clockwork Recovery on the phone, it confused me and I definitely messed up. The screen is discolored like a bad tv reception. One picture is what it's currently stuck on, and the other is showing I can still load it into the yellow download screen. My question is, is this fixable? If so, how?

Problem solved thanks to stephen_w here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405489 and chadster214 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183413. Problem solved with Odin 1.85. Give them thanks if you ran into this problem and these people helped you as well.
Glad that you could get things resolved! I hope that you enjoy your "new" phone, especially as you now know how to recover from things. You might want to look at heimdall as well, especially if you start playing with other custom ROMs and kernels.
When you have a chance, if you change the "[Q]" to "[solved]" or the like, people will easily be able to tell that there is an answer on the thread. Perhaps it will be the one they are looking for themselves!
Hey guys, I need some help unbricking my friends HTC One M8. The phone is not unlocked, rooted, S-OFF, etc. The phone is stuck in the bootloader and no choices in it do anything, they just revert back to the bootloader. I unfortunately cant post a picture of the screen because I am new to the site. Along the top there is green text saying "RADIO-INVALID_VER_INFO" and "OpenDSP-INVALID_VER_INFO"
The only thing my friend said happened beforehand was that he accidentally clicked on an ad in google chrome and it started downloading what I think was a virus. He also said that the phone was restarting a day before it died. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
You may try asking it here HTC One M8 Q&A or Help thread for One M8

Can anyone develop a boot logo (without the Unlock and signature verification warning) and boot animation without the use of TWRP? I'd love it if someone could point me to a how-to if they can't produce such a thing, please and thank you!
This would be awesome. Hopefully someone can figure it out. This was possible on the Nexus 5X but not the 6P, for some reason.
I fear with the latest SafetyNET update triggering with as little as an unlocked bootloader that this won't be possible for some time. However if there is a developer willing to tackle this, I'm willing to donate to the cause, as I'm sure others would be too. I know that many other people would love have black boot logo and the error gone as well.

How do we create a bounty? I have no clue. I'd throw in a dollar or two.
Well I tried changing the hex code in system\media\bootanimation.zip from white to black but that didn't do the trick. It basically just "removed" any animation whatsoever and booted up with a static white background and Google logo.
I would love someone to look into this more.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Happened to me once. I rechecked the permissions 644 after I placed the files once again in solid explorer and there it was- not correct. Changed permissions, rechecked, permissions stood there, rebooted and it worked.
I wonder if the developer of the Weta ROM @Mentalmuso can assist. One of the main reasons I use this great ROM is to get the black boot logo (just the boot image, not the starting BL unlock warning). This way, I have a visual indicator of which slot I'm booting into. If it's black, it's slot A.
Here's one.

You know, thanks for this. Actually, this thread points to another link and I used it to create my own flashable zip.
