"Can't mount sd card" error occur while flashing .zip from sd card through cwm recovery. Pls help me. I have hayton 1.1 custom rom with deadly 1.3 compact kernel.

Hey Guys
I am eager to use the revolver rom supplied here-so i downloaded it and started in recovery mode.
the problem is i cannot mount my sd. I read in the forum that i should format my sd. then i try to do this in clockwork it gives me the same error cannot mount sd card
i have clockworck v3.1.0.1
any suggestions?

use a small sd card, 2gb or less

I have fixed error install zip from card ... actually in s2 you have to put custom and gapp. in external SD card ... in cwm it will detect as install zip from SD card.... enjoy

Im trying to flash a rom from my external sd using clockword mod 5.8.4.7, but i cant find the option to install from ext. sd
does anyone know how/if its possible to flash from ext sd card?

Select "install zip from sd card" then "choose zip from sd card".
My recovery fails to mount my external memory cards. 2 of them, tried everything. i am on twrp 2.2.0 and stock rom. any ideas?
Hi, I have just rooted my TF101 and loaded Clockwork Recovery which seem to be loaded ok. I am now trying to load CM 10 version 6 inplace of ICS 4.3but it wont loas.
I install a 16gb SD Card with the zip file on it, the go to boot and choose install zip from sd card, then choose zip from sd card and what comes up at bottom is-:
E: unknown Volume for path [ / sd card/update.zip ]
E: Cant mount / sd card.
I wounder if there is anyone that can help me. I have tried on 2 different sd cards with same resuld.
