You can't , there is not another way to unlock the bootloader.

As far as I know, the problem is not really the flashing of an insecure kernel by another way, the problem is that you need to unlock the bootloader to install an insecure kernel.
Hope it helps!

I'm thinking of trying to insert a cm kernel into the Sony ftf file and flash it with flashtool... Only problem I have no idea how to convert .elf files into .sin

Don't do this. Locked Bootloader verify actual installed kernel. If something is wrong with him, it just won't allow your phone to start.. as I know xd

Can't you fetch it from official tiamat site?

Nope... Need the boot.img in order to flash it manually via fastboot...

Extract it from the kernel ZIP you're downloading from Tiamat site. As simple as that.

Cayniarb doesn't put a boot.img in his ZIP, it's split into parts, so it's a bit more complicated than that.
Oh damn. Went downloading, checked. Here's the procedure:
Get into recovery.
Connect with USB to PC.
Flash the kernel in recovery (I know it won't flash, but you don't need it to).
Execute the following command on your PC:
adb pull /tmp/newboot.img
Click to collapse
Congratulations, you have your new boot.img. Reboot to fastboot and flash it.
Thanks mate!

This Root methode only for Unlocked Bootloader Device
* Tick on Unknown source (Go to setting-security)
* Tick on USB Debugging (Setting-dev options)
* Download flashtool (http://www.flashtool.net/download.html)
* Download kernel+CWM for 11.3.A.0.47 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2276943)
* Download SuperSU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053)
or you can download superuser (http://androidsu.com/superuser/) (but i prefer superSU)
* Extract kernel.sin (from 11.3.A.2.13) then make it to ftf file with flashtool
if you dont have any ftf you can download over here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409632) or download this kernel ftf (https://mega.co.nz/#!lQ4wWLjI)

Format cache and Wipe Dalvik then reboot

Is up to you buddy
But I suggest you to upgrde new firmware cz sony has improved more features on xperia e
If you unlocked bootloader so dont use PCC or SUS to upgrade your firmware, you must be on locked bootloader then upgrade. Via PCC/SUS
Or stay unlocked then upgrade via flashtool
Enjoy
it shows..the devive must be rooted first...and ...please check the log level

No boot after unlocking bootloader

Hi everybody ,
I have tried to unlock the bootloader on my xperia L but something went wrong. After unlocking the bootlader the device won't boot up the OS and is stuck on the loading screen (coloured waves after SONY XPERIA first screen).
My device configuration:
4.1.2 JB
C2105
15.0.A.2.17
I have installed fastboot by andorid SDK manager and the flashtool drivers (fastboot and flashtool driver) and i have obtained the bootloader unlock key from http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/ typing the IMEI number.
On the command prompt window I have typed: "fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY" (obviously with my unlock KEY) and when the process was over a message appeared "Okay, finished [time]".
Unfortunately when I reboted the device the OS didn't boot up and is currently stuck on on the loading screen with the coloured waves.
What's the problem? How can i fix it?
Thanks in advance,
LcK.
After you unlock your bootloader, you have to flash the stock ROM again. Your bootloaders will still be unlocked, but it's the way it is, and probably said 10000 times in the unlock bootloader thread.

Thanks mate, i have not read the entire guide, my fault
However i have another question: to flash the stock rom I have to read THIS INSTRUCTIONS, isn't it? My device is unbranded and have the 15.0.A.2.17 firmware. I have to download and flash the 1272-2166_R3A Central Europe UNBRANDED GENERIC FTF 2.17 stock rom with "flashtool"?
Thnaks in advance,
LcK.

You are on right track! Go ahead dude!
If you have unlocked bootloader then I will suggest you to flash kernel and then Clean and Tweaked Rom!
Find kernels in Original android development and clean and Tweaked Rom in XL development section!!
All the best!

But you have to be on locked bootloader...
Ehi guys!
I tried to reinstall flashtool and the drivers (fastboot and flasmod driver). Nothing has changed, flashtool still not recognize my device and when i boot the phone in flashmode (volume up+usb cable) nothing appear on the screen of the device. Fastboot mode still works.
Now my device is stuck on the loading screen with coloured waves because i have unlocked the bootloader and, obviously i can't use the phone.
Flashtool not recognize the device, so i think... can i flash by fastboot? Anyone have another idea?
Thanks in advance,
LcK.

any help ?
Hi, I have the same problem, but I don't have my bootloader unlocked. I have just accidentally upgraded my phone to 46.15 and I lost my root. Is there any possibility to root my device (can I unlock the bootloader?) or back to the previous version 46.10 where I can imply towelroot? Besides towelrooting my Droid I'm layman in such things.
Thanks in advance

Hello I have XT925 and I did the update to 4.4.2
If you already have unlock boot you just need to go there(power button +/-vol) connect your phone on computer and go to the folder where you have your adb and fastboot, if you don't have ou can download here
put the su.rar and CWM.img in the same folder after this you'll do it
open py_cmd with your cell connected on your computer
- fastboot devices (if it show some device is ok your phone is detected)
- fastboot flash su.zip
- fastboot flash recovery CWM XT925 KK.img
Su : http://puu.sh/cL00U/cd6d9bd874.zip
CWM KK Stock XT925 : http://puu.sh/cL0mi/ce07c61fcd.img
I hope I've helped you
