I was able to send group sms (using my HTC Desire S) earlier. However, after a recent factory reset, I am unable to send sms to more than 10 people at one go !!! I am unable to send it using any other application either (Handcent)...

even I've had lots of Issues with group SMS on my Desire S... It's sporadic though!
You can try Go SMS too ...

hi i rooted my phone ( htc wildfire s marvel ) and custmize its rom with cm7.2 night
now i want to add my gmail account to sun my contacts and can go to market but when i put my mail it appear error msg

Did you flash the Google Apps (GAPPS) package after flashing?
I just had a similar experience on another device, and flashing google apps fixed it, giving me more account types.

I tried rooting my phone to install google services and apps ..i rooted Nokia xplus and then followed your steps.. I then tried unrooting and unrooted then i hardresetted my phone..now i don't find and contacts app and phone app and i cannot open store i always keeps on updating..please help...:crying:

i have bought this phone from china , htc desire 7088 it doesn't have any store , or any google services neither playstore of-course ,, i need the google services because its very important ...
so i have rooted my mobile and have king user application successfully i thought it was the solution
i have tried to download it and install it many times and different versions it just keep telling me google playstore unfortunate has been stopped ,, gmail unfortunately has been stopped ,, any thing related to goolgle doesn't work ! i don't know why !
i cant find a rom for it anywhere because its not very famous and you can only bought it in some countries :/

I am using a LG U+ optimus F160L 20G 4.1.2 JB . The problem is that;
1) I have a korean dialer (which I don't find much troublesome)
2) The messaging app has a limit of only 80 characters and changes to mms after 80 characters
Although i tried switching to other sms apps to avoid rooting but whenever I use any other app, i see the received messages twice. Well i thinks it's because there are two sms apps running. Tell me if I am wrong. Please note that the stock sms cannot be disabled, there is no option to disable it. I can only Force Stop but it will start running as soon as I receive any message.
And 3) There is a lot of bloatware and I want to get rid of it.
So if someone could please help me to root my phone and help me start from the basics.

Well I tried this trick before posting on XDA and it didn't work. I was only able to install the keyboard which also didn't work.
