ok thank you very much
I upgraded to the 4.1.2 I9300XXELL1 firmware, which is from Orange phones, while mine is not bound to an operator.
Now I try to remove all orange bloatware...
this mystirious 'N' icon (see image) always appears in my status bar:

Anyone know which app this is and can I safely remove it?
Thanks so much!!
That's because you're using Galaxy S3 but posting this thread in Galaxy 3 forum. Therefore it shows N for your ignorance. Here the N stands for N00b which you are one.

Hi everyone!
I want to share my new app with you. It is called Data Usage Monitor and it measures how many wifi or mobile internet was used per hour/day/week/month. I think it is one of the few apps which show this statistics per hour. Later I want to add notification when data usage reaches some level.
Here is Google Play link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.triladroid.internetspeedmeter
Please, let me know what do you like and don't like in this app?

This [Q] appeared after I checked checkbox "is it a question?" I will try to support gigngerbread in the next version, but can't promise anything yet.

Dude, firstly, I think you absolutely should cover a part of your full IMEI. Secondly, so far due to my understanding, if your OP8 is Network Locked by TMO, then currently there's no solutions to network unlock it, since that variant use TMO's own modem & modem firmware version. Therefore, only if u can change the modem inside the device, then there's no other way to network unlock it. Don't waste your money on scam services!
