1.Make nandroid of your current rom.
2.Wipe cache,dalvik cache, system, and factory reset
3.Flash rom
4.Reboot to bootloader and select fastboot
5.Open the rom.zip and copy the boot.img to your fastboot directory.
6.Plug phone into computer and verify connection
7.Flash boot.img with this command: fastboot flash boot boot.img
8.Now you can reboot to system and enjoy the rom

It's all good. Btw, can you explain what some of the changes you included in this are compared to stock, especially Xloud, Ac!d Audio, and Infinity?
I enjoy good, natural sound so I don't like the sound being changed. I know Beats is basically an equalizer that puts emphasis on the lows and highs which I think helps the built in speakers and some lower quality headphones sound better, but for higher quality headphones it kind of ruins the sound.

Ok I'll add to post after work . But acid helps you setup headphones with your favourite music player with clear audio opinion too. Infinity is ment to reduce lag

The changes to the sound added to Rom is to provide crisper more natural sound. The enhancements enable you to enjoy the sound regardless of the quality of headphones you have.
Bravia3 enables sharp, clear and HD look to the system it's much better quality than stock.
The difference to stock is that this Rom has me number one themer for viperX Roms and magiorom Rom. Also the amount of mods and customization we provide will allow you to set this Rom to exactly how you want it.

Sounds awesome, I like the idea of this. Feature rich where you can do what you want, but not be stuck with the things you don't. Thanks for this, I'll be trying it out tomorrow when I have time. I can't afford donating right now as I have a lot going on right now and very little to work with, but if I like it I will when I can afford to do so.

OK so I downloaded, flashed this ROM and I can honestly say that this ROM will be a good one after a few updates!
Right now is a good ROM for those that are tired of ICS and are really looking for the whole package (camcorder, 4G and things like that) to work.

I am currently experimenting other kernels and the Panorama Camera PORT from ICS Galaxy S2. I will let you know soon.
Battery life is awesome on this kernel provided.

I verified that the GAPPS are in fact there. CM7.2 places the apks in different name/format. Just flash and enjoy! Thanks. There will be more updates on this rom with stunning features.

Well I've encounter a few problems trying to install apps from my sdcard. Hacked Pandora app, miuiV4 cm7 theme and update superuser from market is all saying application not installed or invalid file. I did wipe cache and delvik cache and fix permissions and still same error.

How to install/update the ROM
Download the ROM in your SDcard root
Reboot/boot into recovery CWM/TWRP
Factory reset your phone
Wipe /system
Wipe Dalvik Cache

Let it simmer for 10 minutes so everything settles
Welcome to Galaxy S Beam
(Optional) if you experience lag just wait till rom finish do its magic if it keeps lagging rebbot to recovery and wipe cache dalvik cache and fix permissions

Looks like the post has been updated. I know you mention using CWR. Wasn't sure if it was a necessity, but looks like it is. I tried flashing in the latest TWRP and as soon as the installer started, the screen gets a greenish tint and I am unable to click the "Next>" button. Looks like you can stort-of navigate the installer using the volume and power keys.
Installed on Clean ROM v2.1. I chose NOT install Xloud since it's an Odexed ROM.

Couple of questions. Installation says to flash the zip after wiping D-Cache. Do we have to also do the non-experia build prop edit as well? Will this work on stock rooted rom and are does it matter if bootloader is locked or not? Thx in advance.

No need to have unlocked BL and yes you can do the change in build.prop for better sound quality

To all non-snapdragon chipset, I'll update my MOD to get working non-xperia option correctly it seems it cause issue on SGS3 'cause of bad block choosen to mount /system in updater.script

Since I flash new roms as soon as it can be a daily driver, I usually get a newest possible base for Desire HD with Sense, because of it's original drivers aand few applications I need. The only reason I made this thread is that HTC forgot about their Gingerbread's version of SRS just before creation ICS for other devices, which was quite fast ported to our Desire HD, without the old good SRS though.
So... I've made a patch which restores SRS settings and then, because SndUI application is quite underdeveloped, I made my own to have few things like:
- Boot time effect setting restoration
- Notification to allow run the effect when headset is connected
- Filter for the effects to find only usable ones (like for playback)
- Immediate setting apply without annoying intermediate dialogs ("are you sure?")
After 1.1+:
- No-flash snd tool installation with config switching (no need to flash any zip included here)
Both are VERY simple, the patch itself was made for Venom's ViperDHD (ICS with Sense 4), but as it is very simple patch, you can really apply it to any rom after slight modifications, or without modifications at all possibly. The application itself is rom independent.
The license for the application is already known, but not yet defined on paper, but for you it's not very important right now, as it include free usage of this binary as much as you want.
Before flashing anyhting, read Q/A and do NANDROID backup (at least of a system partition)

Q: Does it replace original HTC Effects like Beats, SRS, Dolby which are shipped with my rom?
A: Fortunately NO! It does cooperate with those making your sound even better (whatever you set up by this application and htc effects, will boost each other in parallel - I especially recommend "custom equalizer" setting which will allow to define your own boost with for example SRS)
Q: Does it work for XXX rom?
A: Apk should work for ANY rom having snd3254 tool (Sense, and some AOSP/AOKP), the patch itself probably will too but I have not tested it so I recommend a nandroid backup before applying.
Q: Does it work for XXX phone?
A: For HTC Inspire it should work, but it's not tested either - as far as I know, Inspire has the same hardware with slightly different settings for SRS (maybe better?), but if you apply this one, you will be happy either. Just as always, do a nandroid backup first. For other phones, probably not, but not for sure - the phone has to have snd3254 tool to work with both the patch and application - if you have same chipset as Desire HD, it will probably work - if not, contact me, I'll try to figure out why.
Q: Will it work only on Sense roms?
A: With the patch I supplied it's sure it won't work without Sense "framework". If anyone have the knowledge what to add to AO[S/K]P roms to have DSP working the "Sense way" (possibly kernel drivers, snd3254 binaries or something), I will happily make a tool for any kind of rom. For now, search for any AOSP based rom with the SRS - if it exists anywhere, I will take care of checking how it's done.
Q: Can I have a request for the application?
A: Of course, it's a first simple version - if the application will get popular, it will become as featureful as you possibly wish. For example, I plan to change the notification to show choosen effect in the near future, but as the snd3254 does not allow what effect is now applied, it will rely only on the last setting choosen, so maybe it's a good idea when nothing will reset the setting inbetween... practice will show us.
Q: Does it run in the background (using wakelocks or something)?
A: No, it's only registered to receive headset-on/off events, and to take action only then - when you do not touch headset, application is "dead" (isn't running). It works similar to Proximity Recalibrator, only slightly different. Despite it's not running, it occupies a littlebit memory to be able to react for the headset events - like resident program (service in this case), but when Android needs to free the memory, it probably will do it.
Using this in Sabsa Prime and finally the sound is as good and even better than on stock ROMs. Finally! Great app and this is going to be installed along with all my future ROMs. Thanks!

I've used snd3254 on AOSP ROMS which enables SRS and Dolby. Downloaded flasable zip somwhwere, but it is not working on Sense ROMs - it completelly break the sound.

English is not a problem for us, just try to express yourself as good as you are able .
And yes, I will modify the app to work with JB surely if this is the same case (snd3254). Gimme some time because I suspect JB AOSPs has different location (of binary most probably like xbin instead of bin) and application will have to "search" which isn't done for now

Just checked the paths - all is the same so it's something worse and it will take time as I need to flash this rom to see what's happening. Please be patient. By the way - do you have busybox installed? It can be a possible reason aas CFX seems to use toolbox instead of busybox and this means that commandline tools are more limited.
PS. It's not a hard work - it took three days to make this apk . (would be even faster, but I had to write all from scratch, have no libs yet ).
Guys and girls - one of you sent me a flashable package with snd tool for AOSP. The funny thing is that inside the package was only one executable, the snd3254 itself, and the config I did supply above in the first post...
Why funny? Because if this patch works on clean AOSP, it means that EVERY rom can have the snd3254 support! LOL - I hope it's not a patch for already patched AOSP . I'll try to figure out later how all this work. If that's true, I will make an application able to patch the rom by itself (without any "recovery flashing").
On AOKP apk alone (without flashing zip) works well its just that presets are differently named (no playback string) and after applying any of them an false error popps out. Both SRS and Dolby working.

This is VERY helpful when users do think .
By the way, this setting (searchbox text) is saved into preferences every time you change it, so the next run is always yours until clearing application data.

Did you know if there's a possibility to disable this (wonderful) function in some apps? (i dont like the animation in Facebook, for example)

This ROM is an essential daily driver. I have eliminated all the bugs. I will continue to support it. Soon my other roms will get updates too. Enjoy my work

I am not sure how to do it, but I think the option is under the System option in settings. That's where all the customization is anyways. Enjoy my friend

The kernel I believe supports S2W, the ROM though was built for the glacier originally and the advanced settings should try to tune S2W the glacier way... I hope you enjoy it anyways

I haven't benchmarked it but it feels really stable etc. I have played some pretty heavy games on this ROM without it cracking a sweat... It is suitable to be a daily driver...
