[MORPH] Kspec 2.0 for CM5.0.6 - The "dwang" release [Updated May/1]

NOTE: If you should notice something wrong with the morphs, or if you see that I have fallen behind in keeping up with the latest CM release, please don't post your own updated versions of the morph in this thread. This has nothing to do with "intellectual property" and everything to do with keeping track of what versions of the morph are in the wild, so that troubleshooting doesn't become a nightmare. I'm creating a separate thread for the morph version because we'll be updating independently. Brandenk has kindly provided me with all the resources he uses for his theme, so there will be times where I'll be able to get the morph done before he's had a chance to do the full theme update.

Kspec v1.1 restores the black background to the "apply/cancel" buttons in several apps (vending, browser, etc) and fixes several bugs. v1.1 also adds theming for text entry boxes, and other small details. Apply it and poke around to see everything! Additionally, you can find the Kspec Wallpaper morph and Kspec audio resources in the "BONUS" section of this post

Kspec 1.0 slims everything down considerably. A lot of extraneous, unchanged resources have been removed from the morph. Additionally, the black background behind the "apply/cancel" buttons at the bottom in many applications has been reverted back to stock colors by user request. I strongly recommend flashing stock CyanogenMOD before you flash v1.0 if this isn't your first time flashing Kspec.

My favorite part of this theme is the battery icon, so I've gone ahead and made a morph for that piece only! This should work with ANY theme, ANY mod, so long as the resource names for the battery haven't been changed (and I can't imagine anyone would do that). This will DEFINITELY work on any minor revision of CM5. Enjoy!

Looks like we accidentally included a bunch of images from Launcher2 that didn't actually change. I'll get in touch with brandenk and see exactly which files I can bounce.
EDIT: The reason it was coming in at 20mb was because it included ALL of the wallpapers in Launcher2.apk. Some of them were changed for this theme, so I'm going to do the following:
I'm updating the morph to contain ONLY the wallpapers that have changed (this will knock about 10mb off the size of the zip).
I'm also posting a morph which does not contain the alternative wallpapers. This morph will be much smaller.

I should be able to do that. I'm not an actual themer, just repackaged this theme for metamorph, but I'll look into what I need to do to re-save the images required in the proper format. Look for a blue battery icon with the next release.

These will work with .1, yes Generally speaking, you can usually assume that's the case with this morph. I get @cyanogen updates on my phone, so I'll make a point to edit the thread immediately if for some reason I think it won't work on a bug-fix release

Awesome thanks for sharing the kspec goodies. Glad you made the battery icon a seperate metamorph as well. I'm sure a lot of people want the theme just for that. Great job overall.

Not at this time. Someone would need to make a stock framework-res.apk modified with only the battery icon changes and upload that. You could then push that framework-res.apk to /system/framework

This is not so much a theme as a collection of my favorite mods as done by Mr. JsChiSurf. All credit goes to him and to VinceOb for his droid launcher and all of the extensive work done by both of them to break down all those pesky .xml and .jar files we've come to know and love. MotoBlur Theme for ZenEXP
This theme has been driving me nuts the past day. It finally paid off. I finally have a finished MotoBlur theme. This theme is for ZenEXP My Touch Rom. Thanks to Zen for the Rom! This updates all the icons in the taskbar as well as the white taskbar. I need to fix the ticker and date on the taskbar. I'll release a separate update for that. Ok folks I FINALLY figured out how to get a clear background on the Weather Widgets. This is NOT the HTC Clock/Weather widget. This will mod the actual weather widget itself. I know in 1.5 we were able to modify the background by making it transparent. As we all know HTC decided to play the xml game with us. Through vigorous xml editing I FINALLY achieved a clear weather widget on both the medium and small versions. The large version would look dumb clear so I didnt do it...I may do it later on...Here is a flashable update to update the weather widget. On my post I added the fix for Sprint Roms. Keep in mind you may need to go into Applications and clear HTC Sense as well as the Weather Widget cache. This may or may not work on the latest 2.1 leak. This is soley based off Zen's My Touch rom. You can try it...let me know if it works. Now for a screenshot

Here is my first foray into theming: X1088LoD_Zen_v0.1. This is based on Zen's ZenExp-0.9.2 ROM and may not work on any other ROM. Props goes out to Zen, nebenezer, vince, sdotcarlisle, godzson, gomorrah, and anyone else I may have left out. This is a work in progress, havent decided how I want to use the phone and contacts buttons on the Rosie just yet.

I tweaked some stuff here in there edited some images and put all together real credit goes to the creators. I made due to my wife wanted some changes and figured I'd share. The lockscreen doesnt include the pic of my kids sorry, it does have a black carbon fiber background but you can take any image and label it default_wallpaper.jpg and drop it in framework-res/drawable. If you still use htclockscreen it wont replace unless you remove your htclockscreen.apk.

Download 2.1 2-Tab Style Lockscreen (Flash Via Recovery)-flipz
Flash whichever you like better (I have rotary-style lockscreen).
Step 2: AOSP Taskbar
Download this metamorph(thanks Gregalous!) to achieve an AOSP taskbar. It looks exactly as pictured in the screenshots below. FOR MARKET TO WORK AFTER THIS, YOU MUST CLEAR MARKET UPDATES. Go into Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->Market->Uninstall Updates. This is an issue with metamorph. EDIT: I believe with the new metamorph you don't have to. Can someone confirm that?
Step 3: AOSP Apk Alliteration
Download Messages app (mms.apk) here and adb push it to /system/app.
Download AOSP Music (music.apk) here and adb push it to /system/app. After you did that, run rm /system/app/HtcMusic.apk through adb shell. That gets rid of HTC music.
Download AOSP Camera (Camera.apk)here and push it to /system/app. Then, using adb shell, rm /system/app/HtcCamera.apk to get rid of the HTC camera.
Download AOSP Contacts/Dialer (Contacts.apk) here and, you guessed it, push it to /system/app. This time, do NOT remove the HTC phone app. It will break phone functionality.
Step 4: Get A Home
Pick the home app you want to use. I use Home++ (free, android market) and love it. You can use anything. (launcher2, home, openhome, etc.)
Step 5: Make It Live (Optional)
If you want LWP, flash this LWP in sense addon. I know it's for sense, but it will work with Launcher2, HelixLauncher, and a couple other replacements.
Step 5: Enjoy!
If you don't enjoy it, you forgot to be awesome. Don't ever forget to be awesome. I believe forgetting to be awesome is a crime in some states.

OpenGL Add-On: OpenGL Add-On <--- This will allow all Live Wallpapers to stick, but will remove your live weather animations. The two themes will work with many LWP's without the OpenGL add on...but not all LWP's. I personally don't use openGL. If you're not sure...just start with the themes. (Thanks to Flipz for the OpenGL add-on).

Location Icon - Go into Settings>Location> UNCHECK "Use wireless networks" and CHECK Use GPS satellites. This will save you a LOT of battery life and also give you a cooler location icon.

okay, some small mods I have so far. A metamorph for a faded/translucent rosie with blue button presses, and a faded/translucent genie widget(news and weather). Also, an update flashable zip for the bootscreen I use. Modified images from here and here, along with a trimmed deep note (the THX sound) to match up.
added: metamorph that changes evdo taskbar icons to 3g, stock look.
note on the faded rosie, will change espresso or stock rosie to look like the screenshot

I take no credit for this theme, all credit goes to BGILL55 for such an awesome theme all I did was port it for my own personal use and thought others might enjoy.
This has only been tested on Warm-Z 2.2 2/23/11-RLS1 CMW3. I always recommend a full wipe, anything less is at your own discretion. Install zip through CMW3 recovery.
Once again all credit goes to BGILL55 for the theme and to INCUBUS26JC for the Warm-Z rom.

I will do my best to update this as theme is updated. Market is not themed and I would like to add more transparent widgets from this theme off other devices.

Ive only had the DINC for about a week, so i guess I would take some requests if you'd like it ported to another rom.

**NOTE: I had no issues flashing the blue market after uninstalling market updater a first time... **ALSO: Both font packs were custom made by myself, and should be extracted using the file manager of your choice. They should automatically show up in your gallery. Apply to your LauncherPro dock by longpressing on dock, selecting your desired app first, then selecting "Custom Icon".

Remember to download Rujelus22's Myn-Mod version.3 from his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904769 and flash it AFTER flashing Myn's Warm Two Point Two and BEFORE flashing one of these themes in order to avoid any issues with black on black menus, etc.
These themes are identical to PIMP BLU except that they are all done in different colors. SCREENSHOTS TO BE UPLOADED SOON.

Yes absolutely... will take me a while to get at it, though. I haven't even been able to flash Synergy yet... (sorry, Myn!) My little boys are making it hard for me to even catch five minutes of free time. Will flash tonight!
