All In One App - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

With this app, I freed up so much space on my phone. I was able to uninstall, setCPU and RAM manager... Now, my phone is much snappier and check out all the tweaks you have available!

Wow! I'm sorry to hear that... I've tried ROM toolbox before, that's also a good app! I like this one because of the tweaks you can do, like the xtra loud and the Sony bravia engine and more... Any one of these are subject to brick a device if we are not careful with the settings... What ROM are you running

I am running the newest beanstalk 4.3. When I tried installing the xloud and other Sony stuff through pimp my ROM is when my phone actually soft bricked not boot loop. I had to use Odin to get it back to normal. So I just flash acid audio or xloud as a zip instead of thru an app and it works perfectly.. I have way better results doing it this way.

I really like the newest 4.3 beanstalk. I flashed the new cyan fox and new Dirty Unicorns 4.3 but I still end up restoring back to beanstalk. D.U. has a crazy amount of customization options. But I really like the look and feel of Beanstalk the best out of them all.

I am not responsible for any damage to your phone, marriage, sex life, etc. as a result of installing this mod.
This is just a simple compilation I put together that installs 3 ROM tweaks that I find myself always using whenever I flash a new ROM.
Included Modifications:
Galaxy S II Startup/Shutdown Animations w/ Sound by Jay Aristide
Fix Permissions Script by crackpot
Improved SD Card Icon for Status Bar. I couldn't find the original thread or author, so if you find it, please let me know so I can give credit.
Installation
Put ROMTweaks_Signed.zip on your sdcard.
Flash with CWM.
Enjoy!

It works on all ROMs except the CM9 alpha that was released. Until you're less new you might want to hold off on that until there is a stable release.

Google Euroskank and go to the first one that pops up, hit the P999 tab and grab the latest and grab any of the custom kernels that strike your fancy or do what I started to do and try one for a week or two and see how I like it.

Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
Kernel?
It depends: If you want battery life get Trinity ELP (I that's the one, the one which only allows to OC to 1.1GHz) if you want pure power go for Faux, if you want a balance (don't know if it has Voodoo sound though) go for Dragon for CM7 (not OTA).
So I take it that you can use different kernals with different roms and you flash them the same as the roms?

Most, if not all of the newer custom roms are debloted, meaning the bloat has been removed in OTA based roms. If its AOSP or CM based, it's built without bloat.

what archive to download for samsung galaxy s 4g (T959V)?
I didn't get any fc's except when I tried downloading the n7 player. That didn't work. As far as whether it works.. well I can't really decide if it sounds better than something like beats but for sure it sounds less saturated out of the phone's speaker than before.

Beans ROM causing major issues!!!!!

I never had a problem with anything until I flashed beans build 6. I did a clean install but ever since my phone has been freezing nonstop. I have to battery pull every time and it is getting frustrating. I went back to build 5 on a clean install and the same thing occurs. I even tried downloading my apps one by one from the play store instead of restoring from titanium and I still get this issue. Someone please give me some enlightenment I'm desperate!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
1) What does a full wipe consist of in your case?
2) Freezing as in you can't do anything at all or freezing as in laggy? How long did you have Beans Build 5 and/or 6 installed?
3) did you have the AOSP Lockscreen installed via Aroma (when you first flash the rom)? if so, did you deselect ALL the TW options under Settings/Lockscreen?
4) Do you check the md5 before flashing build 5 or build 6? If not, what do they say when you check now?
AOSP lock screen was the culprit that required me to pull my battery. I have no problems with the tw lock screen on B6. Battery life, GPS, performance is great on B6.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
When you enable AOSP lock screen you must disable all other functions in the same settings menu. Everything must be off. I'm running it flawlessly after doing so.

Full wipe for me would be factory reset/system/cache/dalvic
It would freeze and I wouldn't be able to do anything so I had to battery pull
I had some settings turned on for touch wiz lock screen and I've turned them off since and I think that may have been the culprit. They were there as default however.
Also how would I go about checking md5

That's exactly what I did. Then switched to TW 4x5 launcher and also changed to CWM recovery (before re flashing ROM) and all my issues went away. Don't know if Nova was the issue or not but it works great now. Fast and smooth. Even running IMO lean kernel with no problems. Here's the quadrant score.

Didn't realize Quadrant was so frowned upon around here. Sorry for posting. Have used other benchmarks and with B6 have achieved scores very close to the supposed reigning benchmark king that I will not mention lol. Either way, I'm very happy with the speed and smoothness of B6 now. Once B7 corrects the email issue and I'm assuming will be based on the official OTA release tomorrow I think I've found my daily driver. Great ROM.

I was using cwm and switched to twrp actually and I think that may have helped... There is no telling though. I would go back to cm10 but I have constant call issues with it even with late builds. Probably my phone being temperamental though. I am one that believes in doing clean installs though so I know my problems aren't from a so called dirty flash. I wish I could import my desktop layout into trebuchet because I always feel that it was the fasted launcher for me.

[Q] Dark Knight incompatible app issue

I recently flashed Dark Knight ics on my infuse 4g.
The main issue that I am having is that previously compatible apps on gingerbread, are no longer working on my custom ics flash. how can I resolve this?

It is the bank of america app, its been released for ics and jellybean already....
My best bet would be that it only has gingerbread support for this specific device, but i'm unsure of what compatibility options you can set. and based upon your response, this isn't an known issue that you know how to fix.
Is Dark Knight ever going to become jellybean, or is it stuck at ics since its a port?
