my son , open the settings and make pin for lock screen , now i don't know pin ,
and i try enter wrong pin to show me my email to restore new pin, it's never show me any forget pin
please i need unlock pin without format the internal data ,
or how i can copy my internal data to my pc, and i will reset factory form recovery mode
my tab 2 , is not rooted and it's stock rom
please any help to backup my data becouse it's have alot work on internal data

Try with Mobile Odin
You can find it on Google Play store, but it must be bought, or you can download free from here: (cannot post link, delete th blanks in the URL below)

Beware! Mobile Odin does not Have CWM recovery, but keeps your system rooted whenever you flash a firmware. It leaves Samsung original recovery and does not increment the custom ROM counter.

Devs this is drganbds from grand quattro thread...we have working cwm recovery...
Problem is when I try custom rom on our device it shows status 7 error and something like (format () expects 3 args. got 5)....
I tried all the solutions for status 7 error which is available on xda but the problem exists...I tried all edits on updater script but didnt work..
please help us

Just use 3 Format / Arguments ..... Or remove the Format Command and Use "Format /System" instead
Upload your Updater_script in case i can check

I deleted format commands.... SO just Replace and try flashing
Thanks darkdroid I successfully flashed and no error...
But I deleted all gapps and it came again with added apps how and qat will be the reason? Please help

You have to delete Gapps from System/app totally....Not from anywhere else will help.... :silly:

Yes I removed from system/apps only...please help
It gave boot.img error on flashing then I delete the write raw image line in the script for boot.img..
Then flashing went normally but very less time...is that correct?

boot.img contains the kernel for the ROM to work... Unless you are using same base of the previous ROM.... It will bootloop :crying:

I think this is the lines you deleted.... Find the correct mount point of Boot.img..... Replace mmcblk0p8 with it... Itll flash successfully

Now my problem is after I boot its same as original stock with some apps I added as system apps...
I trimmed 1.2gb rom to 320mb and I deleted most of the apps from system/app folder then how come it came again....
Is it flashed correctly or completely?

i have this problem since i upgraded to 4.2.2.everytime i try to access the"about device" section from settings,i get this message: "unfortunately,settings has stopped".my phone is rooted.can anyone please help me with this?

I had galaxy s2 and i installed on my device cm 11.
I selled s2 because s2 plus is better.

look,if you plan to move file(presuming its a games file),just copy from computer to ur ex sd card first.move the file using any file explorer to obb after that. work for me everytime.if you wanna direct copy from computer,that's impossible.
