Had just flashed my first custom ROM ever (cm-10.1-20130806-Albinoman887-pyramid) on HTC Sensation.
I am very pleased and cant really believe I struggled with stock ROM for 2 years
Cant post in appropiate thread as I am under 10 posts, but can somebody answer mi this:
- Is it possible to change illumination time of the 4 touch-buttons on that rom? At the moment they swich off automatiaclly after few secs of inactivity and I didnt find any option to do so from system menu. Is this function supported?
- on YT i had seen some films where you have additional settings in menu like notification LED control and CPU control. This build doesnt have it, Is it because it is not supported on this device or because it because of that particular ROM ?

Hello everyone
I have a problem with my touch pro.
when I get a text message(sms) sometimes only the light around navigation control shows that I have a new message but the new text message sound wont play and when I press the power button(even after an hour) in order to turn on the lcd at this time the new message sound play, therefor I cannot answer a new message on time.
I have had my touch pro for 14 months and I have had this problem for 2-3 months.I checked sound & notifications and every thing is ok.
I changed the Rom to a new version but still I have the same problem.
Previous rom was : 1.90.456.3 WWE
New Rom is : 2.01.415.3 WWE
What should I do? It bothers me a lot.

I get this too now and then and also with e-mails. As i don't use stock ROMs i didn't worry too much but it is annoying as it doesn't even vibrate too.
However, recently I have been using windows mobile 6.5.1 default today screen rather than the HTC touch flow (manilla) today screen and I have not had this problem yet. So possibly it could be manilla which causes this problem.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I have problem with rom cm 7.2. This rom is the best, but i have a problem with display usage battery, i have a 70% usage. Brightness i have a low level and still is this problem, and my battery drain a very fast with using. Help me please

I have the same issue. I found that on stock Rom the main reason of battery drain so fast was dialer, now on cm7 display take about 50%
Try CM9... battery works for up to 2 days at normal use... Instead of the lopusy 12 hours on stock and cm7...

Since I am not allowed to post in development section (new user, 10 posts rule) this thread title is the closest one to my questions. I am currently on latest CM7 rom (thanks adlx.xda) and I am facing some issues.
First of all, the rom itself is great. It would be nice to update it with the latest sources. I tried all versions and in the last one there is a huge scrolling lag that was not present in the previous versions (one can see this in browser, opera mini etc. when scrolling down or up with physical keys). I think it has something to do with framework, but not sure. I ported another CM7 rom from various different phones, using adlx's as a base, and those didn't have that lag, but I couldn't remove the default on-screen keyboard because when I remove it the sym key when pressed keeps popping up to select input method.
Speaking of keyboard, when I use browser or any other browser (except opera) the key "enter" will not open the selected link. It will do nothing. This is only on CM7 and SuperOSR. It is working properly on stock, CM9 and CM10. This is very much needed since sometimes I am having trouble opening a link with my big fingers so I use the arrows to select a link and enter to open a link. I have tried to play with the keypad files but without much success.
The last issue I was having has something to do with the camera. I don't care about the front cam, I believe 90% of us doesn't care about it as well. But I was having issues with flash. It is out of sync most of the times. It works, but it is not in sync with the actual moment of taking the pictures so most of the times my pictures are dark and sometimes not visible at all. But I can live with that, just wanted to point it out.
Adlx, I hope you read the general section, and I would really appreciate if you could give me some pointers about keypad files and why enter button when I try to open a link with it is not working only in those two roms.

First of all I must give a big THANKS to Albinoman and all who supported him in producing this ROM.
Recently I found one BUG, I have no idea if it is known issue. I tried to search the same but couldn't find any answer.
What I did was pulling down notification bar and switched on Torch, after the time limit Torch goes OFF but in the notification bar it is shown as ON. So far so good. Now if I switched on Camera it gives Camera Error, Can't connect to Camera. This error comes even if the torch is ON.

I will try the May 17th version now and POST the error again. I
I just want you to know that this is what I got. Anyways the ROM is good except for the Battery issue. Someone said ROM has nothing to do with any Battery consumption, but I tried with a different ROM earlier and its Battery life was good.
Also tried upgrading to May 17th, I know change log says nothing about Camera, but still I tried first without upgrading to Camera Sphere 4.2 and than with Camera Sphere 4.2 same issue found.
BTW I am S-ON.

First off, just for future refference, there are 2 threads for Albino's rom already.
One is in the development section and one specifically for troubleshooting like this post is in teh Q and A Section. In the future please search for an existing thread rather than create a new one. This helps keep XDA a little more organized.
Now onto your problem...
I agree with everything you said. The torch and the camera don't work at the same time. The camera needs access to the LED to work, and obviously so does the torch. When the torch is already on the camera doesn't have access to it. It's like trying to put 2 keys into the same lock at once.
So since the camera app reads the device to see if the hardware it needs is available, when it finds the LED isn't available it shuts down. Even though the torch itself has timed out and has gone off, the torch app is still running and it controls the LED hardware until the app stops. so even though the light is off, the camera still can't control the LED hardware.
This is an overly simplified explanation, but this is what's going on.
We discussed in the dev thread that the camera app can run the led constantly during video so this isn't being done on purpose to prevent a reboot due to extreme battery drain. Its just a conflict for hardware resources. But since the camera can keep the led on there is no reason to have the torch app keep the led on, so there is no reason to really fix this bug.
Again though, the camera still fc's after the led times out because the torch app is still in control of the led hardware. So you have to remember to turn off the torch. That's also why the notification bar says the torch is on, even though the led is off. The torch app is still running in the background, which is what the notification bar is rally indicating.
Thanks I thought I should mention here if it is a Bug, BTW I was not aware how to start a thread within the Albino's ROM.

First sorry for my english, im french..xD
I have some "backlight flickering" problem on my MI4C.
There is quick varitions of backlight intensity at random times.
I had this problem with MIUI so i flashed cm-12.1-20151016, and more problems.
But i updated to CM12.1 cm-12.1-20151112-UNOFFICIAL-libra and the problem is back.
Do you have a solution ??

Ty for you answer, but it's not just the brightness who change but more the backlight doing like flashes.
I found a youtube video with similar problem.
But i cant post link.

In miui the problem should be already fixed in 5.11.5, at least this is in the changelog.

Yes i saw this for miui but i didnt tried, i changed for CM12.1 just before.
But i didn't saw the problem on the first CM build.
It's strange.
It happened to me twice. 5.11.5 the problem still continues. Now I use 5.11.12 not yet any flickering:fingers-crossed:
What if you change the level of adaptive display ? It is like you are on the edge between two different states and the phone doesn't know which one to choose.

I tried with low or high level of brightness and with adaptativ display on and off.

Hi everybody,
It happened again today so i tried differents things:
-Disabled Double Tap 2 Wake (1 of the new feature of the cm update): useless
-Turn ON the option to Disable HW Overlays (I saw on internet that can solve some screen flickering problems): wait and see
there is a risk ??
-I enabled performance mod on battery settings:
Is it good or not ?
Is it useless if im already using kernel adiutor set in on demand ??

I had a similiar problem with my Mi4 and managed to solve the problem by flashing this kernel after flashing CM: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24686681827314188
Little downside is; the kernel has a double-tap-to-wake-feature, which gives me some random unlocks in my pocket.

i owned a samsung j7 prime, i have rooted it and installed framework...
but i cant configure 2 things:
1. i want that the touch buttons(multi task and back) could vibrate and too when i'm using the keyboard... in settings menu there is no option to adjust this, and neither in keyboard settings!
2. this phone hasn't notification's led, but it has an frontal led for the front camera, so i wish to know if there is a way to configure it, cause i tried with a lot of aplications but i couldn´t
can somebody help me please

Greetings and welcome to assist. There may be an xposed mod to do the first one but I haven't seen it, anything else would require framework modifications. For the second one there is an xposed mod for led notifications that may do what you ask. Why not ask in the xposed forums here

for the 1st, in gravity box there is an option to configure the ms of vibration for keys but it didnt work for me, i tried a lot of numbers of ms.....
and for the 2nd i found too some modules but it neither worked!
