Anyone?
Also would HTC Desire charger work with it? (the sticks looks same - microUSB, but looks like the phone is not charging)
Also if the phone is dead, is there any way i can check if the battery/screen or whatever else is faulty?
When i connect it under Windows with USB cable, it says that the device cannot be recognized and the drivers cannot be installed.
When connected with USB, i did hold the power button to turn it on but it doesnt start and the phone keeps vibrating continuusly.
Look on the back, or inside, even under battery, for more information.
I already know it's Samsung Galaxy Mini II, homever i have issues turning it on.
All microusb chargers are the same except for amperage. Try all you have. This phone is probably terminally damaged, but try a new battery if possible.
It's really strange (the phone was little wet) homever, sometimes it's starting just fine and sometimes wont turn on at all.
I have removed battery and put it to the bowl with a rice for a night and will see if that helps.
My "dampness" recovery is to disassemble and put phone/tab/laptop in in very low oven ie 125-135 degrees F for several hours. You may have ti turn oven on & off manually to get that low temperature. Your mileage may vary.
OK so basically the phone is in following state:
It's charging fine, homever the biggest problem atm is i cannot get the usb mass storage to work.
I'm connecting it to the PC and the phone is detecting it as AC charger not USB - PC is not even trying to install any drivers.
PC is not detecting the phone at all (phone is detecting that its being connected, the button backlights are lighting up)
I got no dropdown in the phone to select charging, mass storage etc. (when i do it in settings/communication/usb settings it keeps saying to connect the usb cable, but the phone is charging so its connected just fine)
When i was connecting it for the first time windows tried to install drivers but failed, also it was constantly disconnecting the phone from usb cable (now its fine it seems)
When i connect it using "Kies Air" it's working homever i still dont see the SD Card in "My Computer" for example.
What a mess, anyway any idea how to get the USB working again?
Try different cable, and/or different PC.
I ordered new usb cable, homever i doubt it's the problem as the phone is recognizing connection and also it's charging fine.
I will tell the whole history just in case, it might be relevant.
It started with battery problems, it was charging at a very slow rate (4-5 hours) and it was lasting 1 hour top. The camera was the cuplrit, it wasn't working at all and by disabling the camera app the phone worked fine for a week.
Suddenly stopped charging now.
When the phone is on it doesn't recognize the charger not even the computer, no bottom led. The computer doesn't recognize the phone either.
When the phone is off, if i connect the charger, the bottom led turns red for a second, SONY logo appears, battery appears for another second and reboots... infinitely.
I thought that the USB connector was the problem but i can connect it to my laptop in fastboot mode and flashmode, the phone is recognized in both modes, i even "repaired" the phone with Sony PC Companion and i'm having the same problems like before: no camera and no charging.
I don't think it is a firmware problem, i've re-flashed two stock firmwares from XPERIA Firmware website and no success.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Dude I have the exact same problem. Would like to find out a solution
Could be a hardware problem.
charging problem

i used power bank to charge my phone,Suddenly stopped charging now.
When the phone is on it doesn't recognize the charger not even the computer, no bottom led. The computer doesn't recognize the phone either.
It is charging properly with power bank always but not with charger and computer with usb. if i connect the charger, the bottom led turns red for a second, SONY logo appears, battery appears for another second and reboots... infinitely.
I thought that the USB connector was the problem but i can connect it to my laptop in fastboot mode and flash mode, the phone is recognized in both modes, i even "repaired" the phone with Sony PC Companion and i'm facing the same problem still.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Facing Same Problem, I have even change the New Port for charging.. but after 2-3 weeks as usual.. slow like Hell...

I need a continuesly operation of a samsung S6 and I control the device with a special usb mouse ( I use my mouth).
The problems I have now are:
1-I have mounted the Samsung S6 on a wireless charger Q1 and the mouse connected by a OTG kabel.
When the charger hit 100% the mouse pointer disapeared and a can not using the mouse wake up the device from its sleep mode.
I can only disconect the otg kabel and reconect the kabel and than the mouse is working
2-When I put the system in the developers mode and mark the not go to sleep Than the device is going to sleep. That option is not working in the wirelless charging mode. The same problem, when the device hit the 100% than the mouse is stopping working and I can only get it to work by reconnecting the kabel
3-Using a OTG Y kabel is no option because that is for charging the slave device. It seems not posible to load the samsung S6 and have 24 hour operations while using a slave device!
4 I did try to install a app "alwasy onn" But that is not helping
5-When on the wireless charger and hitting 100% the power indicator of the connected OTG slave device is turning off! That is why I think Samsung is not correctly turn off the wirless charging when 100% point is rechead. As result the mouse stops working!
6-When I unplug the wireless charger from the main power, the charging is stopping. When I plug it in again the charging is starting. The mouse is during this operation working correctly
7-I think I can pin the problem to the samsung software. When 100% point is reached, the power to the slave device is incorrectly disconnected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems that the Samsung device is not any more the master
How can I solve this problem? using the S6
I was told in a side bar comment by the rep at the At&t store that the S6 cannot be used for making a call while on a powermat/wireless charging station. Perhaps this is another side affect. It didn't concern me so I didn't ask more about it.
Dear,
I am trying to connect my logitech F310 via USB OTG.
When I plug it in, the power light on the controller is still off. However, when plugged in to the PC, it turns on.
Whenever I plug in a keyboard, it works fine. USB flashdrive power light is on but I can't read data from it.
My OTG cable is only powered via the phone, is it a possible solution for me to solder two extra wires for some extra power?
Thanks in advance!

My Samsung S9 has had some screen damage and the touchscreen mostly does not work.
In order to navigate it I must use a mouse that I connect to the phone using the supplied USB C- A adapter.
I wish to get my phone repaired but I wish to backup all the data upon it first.
If I plug my phone directly into my PC, it asks for my permission to allow the PC access. However, since the touchscreen does not work properly, I cannot press the button to accept.
I could not plug both the mouse and PC simultaneously.
So I bought a USB-C hub. (Actually I've bought several, none of them have worked, this latest one is the most expensive and I had hoped it would work - (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07ZVKTP53/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
It has a separate port for USB-C Power Delivery and a separate one for data.
I plug the attached USB-C cable from the hub into my phone, and then I plug my mouse into a regular USB port, my charger into the USB-C PD port, and another USB-C to A cable from the USB-C Data port on the hub into a USB port at the back of my (new) PC.
Now my computer does not recognise my phone at all, nor does my phone seem to acknowledge it is connected to a PC. The mouse still works upon the phone and it charges fine through the PD port. If I plug the phone straight into the PC, it is recognised, so I do not think the problem lies there. The hub seems to block communication between the phone and PC.
I would like to backup my data and get my phone repaired. If anyone can solve the USB-C Hub issue or propose another solution to my problem then I would be grateful.
A mouse and keyboard will take priority over anything else in a hub.
I'm betting the hub's power is 2000mA or 2.0 Amps.
What does your fone charger state its power is? Add the mouse, keyboard, and fone's milliamps together. If it's more than the hub's power pack supplies....
In this situation, I would use Vysor, this will defo solve your problem, it allows you work with your fone on your pc/lappy by providing a lovely window that is a duplicate of your fone screen, you'll be glad you found this!!!
I can provide an old cracked version I used for my emergencies, if there is no objections?
Then you'll only need the mouse to use as your finger
Google Vysor. case closed lol.

Hi
Thanks for your reply
It's not a battery hub, but just a USB-C hub (check the link). Power comes from the PD USB-C port which is hooked up to my phone's original USB-C charger.
It also fails to work even when a mouse isn't attached to it.
I will look into Vysor. Also thought about the possibility of using a standalone bluetooth mouse which would free up the cable.
Your fone will suck the life out of a poorly powered hub, by using vysor, your pc/lappy mouse will work your fone using vysor, best app I've ever seen for working with broken screens, just plug phone direct into lappy, vysor works if you've no screen at all!!!!!
Use
Vysor

Dont pay for mouses/hubs in this scenario. Just pay for a top quality tool. I would place this as my number one android tool for ANY fone.
Again, if all your doing is data recovery (saving your stuff) I have a patch for an earlier version to unlock full version I swear by, you could use this once if only to try before you buy
The hub supports 85W fast charging directly from mains, which is what it is getting.
How do I enable USB debugging specifically for the app?
I have enabled it in developer options but when I connect my phone via USB to my computer as per the Vysor app, another window pops up on my phone asking to allow USB debugging. Ask there is no mouse attached to the phone at this point, I am unable to allow it.
