p.s. : anyone ?

How about my phone - can someone tell me which RUU ? I am unable to find one that matches my hboot on this site : http://androidruu.com/?developer=Ville
my phone info :

VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.13.0000
RADIO-1-13.50.05.31
OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0015
CID is HTC__001
I've been trying to get back to Stock (because 4g doesn't work when I have stock ROM) - i am at a point where I will sell my phone if I cant get 4G!!! Want to go back to Stock, please help.
If I have CID HTC__001, does it mean I can run any RUU as long as its for HTC ONE S Ville ?
OR do I need to change CID back to TMO before I can run RUU or else I will brick my phone - I've tried searching the forums already and have read up on this quite a lot !

Ok, so I have the TMOUS version and I'm trying to download to be able to S-OFF since it seems as if whenever I try to SuperCID, the CID seems to be patched. It always changes back to TMOUS-###
I'm wondering if there was an RUU out there for this where I won't get the 155 error.

I can't change the CID at all. I was unlocked when I did it. Unlocked, Custom Recovery, and kernel, but everytime I changed TMOU-### to 11111111 and pushed it to the phone, it would change right back to TMOU-###. I was in the IRC when this happened and a guy named Jcase pointed out to me that it might be patched. I made sure the file was changed before pushing it to the phone, but no luck.
So now, when I tried to go back to full stock flashing the Boot.img&Recovery.img from the RUU, then running it, it would just give me Error 155(Wrong RUU).
It's been reported that if you have the T-Mobile JB update installed, it's not possible to get superCID anymore, which means you can't get S-OFF. You may have to wait for a new exploit.
Hey the RUU is out now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2279588

can you post the bootloader details?
i am hardly understand of what you are really seeking for
probably you need only S-OFF(because you said you want to keep the relocked and unroot status) am i right?
edit:what error did you have?
Dear, i mean :
if i unlocked my phone by HTCDEV.com, it's impossible to go back to ***LOCKED*** again, it's only back to ***RELOCKED***
so i need the right way to unlock and root my phone, that let me go back again to ***LOCKED*** easy
2- if i root and unlock my phone, then go back to ***LOCKED***, in this time.. can i flash the official Rom after all of that ?
maybe to sell my phone

I don't think you can go back to ***LOCKED*** after you unlock the bootloader via HTCdev. You can get it to say ***LOCKED*** if you s-off the phone. It will say ***LOCKED*** but it will also say s-off.
If you want to sell your phone, I'm sure no one would mind if the phone is s-on or s-off.

so i need the right way to unlock my phone
You can't get it to say ***LOCKED*** if you tried to lock it again using HTCdev.
You can get it to say ***LOCKED*** if you s-off the phone and don't install juopunut hboot.
If you want to sell the phone, no one cares if the phone is s-on or s-off.
Look here and read it carefully to s-off your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26280760

Dear Androidsupporter, thank you to your reply
OK, the tools to Unlock my phone is the same tools to Lock it again and go back to ***LOCKED***
PLZ what is the best tool to unlock it HTCDev or what ?
if i root my phone, the bootloader info will be ***UNLOCKED*** and S-Off ?
or the root is differently
sorry for my many questions,
Edit: in Egypt, any one buy HTC phone, he must check bootloader, if RELOCLED or UNLOCKED he will Buy it at a cheap price
if not, he will buy it at good price
Hmm...I think you are talking about sim-unlock. When people sell phones, some list them as "unlocked". This means that the phone can be used with any carrier (any phone company that provides service)
There is a different kind of unlock. That is the bootloader unlock. If you want to unlock your bootloader, you need to go use HTCdev unlock method (htcdev.com). It will give you information on how to unlock your bootloader.
S-off means security off. It is the opposite of s-on(security on). This means that you can flash many things that a unlocked bootloader cannot do. If you want to s-off, then I gave you a link in my previous post about the guide for s-off.
Rooting is also different from s-off and unlocking bootloader. Rooting gives you (the owner) superuser rights (like an administrator account on a PC). All you need to do to root is to follow this guide: http://theunlockr.com/2012/09/20/how-to-root-the-htc-sensation-on-hboot-version-1-27-0000/

very very helpful, you are good man
i need to thank you moore times for your information, thank you dear
now i'm going to root my phone, but i need to know this info.
if i root sensation, the boot loader will be ( ***UNLOCKED*** and S-off ) OR ( ***LOCKED*** and S-on ) ?
Sorry for the inconvenience
Rooting and bootloader are different.
Rooting and s-off are also different.
Rooting your phone requires either s-off or unlock bootloader. If you unlock bootloader and then root, it will say ***UNLOCKED***
if you s-off, it will say ***LOCKED***
You can also unlock bootloader AND s-off (do both by unlocking bootloader first and then s-off). If you want to unlock bootloader and s-off, then follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25202517
But to root your phone you must unlock your bootloader or s-off

yes , i need s-off only
in your last link, i think i will start from step 4 to the end, right ? to s-off only
and i don't know the diffirent between "normal" and "touch" links for CID in your link too
Normal - http://download2.clockworkmod.com/re....0-pyramid.img
Touch - http://download.clockworkmod.com/rec....9-pyramid.img

Do s-off by this guide first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26280760
After your bootloader says s-off, then you can flash a custom recovery.
I would actually recommend this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377759
It's 4EXT recovery and I think it's better than clockworkmod recovery.

S-OFF

Im trying to s-off, i have supercid already. But my hboot is 2.16. When i try flashing the firmware instead of error 92 i got error 99. Im pretty sure this is not because of boot. I heard u cant s-off on hboot 2.16 because u can change your cid for super cid. I already did that so right now all i have to do is pass this error. Please Help!

you do not have solution.
If I do that I am this:
HTC One S Tmobile unlocked PVT SHIP S-ON Bootloader 2.15.0000 Radio 1.13.50.05.31 TWRP 2.6.3.0 CID T-MOB010 version-main: 3.14.531.17.

It is recommended that you use JTAG. that is our solution

Same firmware/radio/hboot here and have found no solution yet. I unlocked via HTC dev and rooted. Can't CID via hex editing, apparently this is locked. Moonshine is supposedly the only solution but always fails rebooting to ADB...
I thought I read somewhere that you have to run an RUU back to stock, re-do everything, but I haven't been able to install any RUU I've found for my device.

You're in the wrong forum, this is the Ville C2 forum. Allow me to redirect you to the Ville forum. :good:
Since you're S-ON, we need to know what your CID is... I think you should find in in bootlloader.
Another option is to get S- OFF and then you are able to use any RUU you want
And what goes wrong when trying to go back to stock?
Do you get any error messages?

I believe that's true only for RUUs older than Jelly Bean, JB RUUs do not accept other CIDs (also no super CID).
But I might be wrong!
