I'm trying to get my S4 to be able to play FFXIV with the Xbox controller over the remote connection from Splashtop. I want to be able to do crafting/gathering while I'm chilling at school between classes and such.
I have a USB OTG adapter and my wireless xbox 360 controller receiver plugged into it. This has been one of the few things I haven't been able to figure out how to do on my own. Does anyone have any suggestions/help/walkthroughs on how to get this set up and running?
Attached is an image of my equipment. Yes that is a modified rechargeable battery that I've made into a "Gameklip" for my phone. It works great

Hello guys!
I was wondering is it possible to use the Motorola Xoom as psx console?
First connect xoom with the tv (hdmi output) then run psx emulator and then connect 2 ps3 analogs via bluetooth and then play Crash Bash.
Is this possible?
i don't see why doing this with one ps3 controller via USB otg wouldn't work. Bluetooth ps3 controller isn't supported yet.
I thought it was. Isn't there an app called sixaxis?

If it doesn't work out, he might have some luck if he tries a USB Host splitter. I know I've gotten my Xoom to notice two PTP cameras at once.
Um, get Sixaxis.
You connect your PS3 Controller to your PC and change the Bluetooth address which it connects too, which would be the Xoom's (the sixaxis app on the xoom will give you the Xooms bluetooth address). you're then able to connect the PS3 controllers to the Xoom via Bluetooth, you don't need to connect via USB OTG.
I have the Speaker dock w/ HDMI out, just let the Xoom sit there and charge by my TV while playing Megaman X5.

GG Man thanks a lot i've already downloaded it and tomorrow i will start the setup
I failed to mention this but you have have to be rooted, if you're not rooted then you're stuck going through the USB OTG Cable

Indeed, no root no fun ^_^
I did it many times.
Xoom on TV with HDMI and 2 PS3 controllers via bluetooth.
Works with most emulators.

Im going to play crash bash with my friends and we were thinking that it would be great to play 4 persons.
Is it possible to connect 4 ps3 controllers via bluetooth???
I have Sixaxis controller app on my xoom and it supports up to 4 ps3 controllers via key mapping.
As long as the emulator can support multiple controller inputs, then all you would have to do is map the keys to each controller.
Does the Shield work as a PC gamepad via USB or Bluetooth connection? I am not talking about the Steam/streaming option. I know that basically does work, but only for PCs capable of streaming(unlike mine). I thought it would be cool if you could plug into usb and use the shields gamepad to control a pc game. The benefit of this vs. streaming would be that the shield's screen could be blank, conserving battery. And if it worked via bluetooth you would have a wireless controller.
If these are not possible as-is I am sure they could be made possible with an android app and PC service. Is anyone else interested in this? If so I may try to create something.
Edit:
I have made an app that works over wifi. Get it here - Shield2PCGamepad

It doesn't. And it probably won't directly via USB (dont think android will allow you to access USB in the correct way). Bluetooth + a PC service is probably doable though.
Is there been any more progress looking into this? I would love to be able to use it just as a controller on the pc. it's much more comfortable then an xbox controller.
I would never use this over an Xbox controller. There is a weird dead zone on this controller so you can't play games like black Ops 2 with it.

I'm having a problem with my Moto G 4G LTE. I have an OTG adapter and it works perfectly fine for my keyboard, but I can't seem to get any controllers to function. I've tried XBox One and PS3 controllers. I need a wired connection to work in order to use Limelight effectively (game streaming from my PC) as Bluetooth messes with the wifi signal, severely impacting framerate. I've tried without any app, with USB/BT Joystick Center 2015, with Sixaxis Pair Tool, on stock 4.4.4 and on Cyanogenmod 11.
Has anyone successfully used a PS3 or XBox One controller over a wired connection on their Moto G (4g or otherwise)? Any tips on how to get it going?
PS: PS3 controllers work perfectly fine with the Sixaxis Tool over Bluetooth and wired with my PC and PS3, so I know it's not the controllers or the cables.
PPS: I'm now back at Stock with Decepticon kernel and still no luck.
PPPS: A Hori brand generic USB controller works totally fine, but it is extremely preferable to be able to use the controllers I already have.

Running stock and my Xbox 360 Wireless and Wired worked without issues.
Good to know, but that is not what I asked about. Im aware other controllers work, but these do not. They work flawlessly on other devices.
I primarily use my Shield portable for streaming GameCube/Wii games on the Dolphin emulator, and it works very well. So, I was wondering if there is any way to get my GameCube controller to work properly on my Shield. I have the Mayflash GC to USB adapter (the 2-port purple one) that I use for the Dolphin emulator on my PC. I have attempted to plug it into my Shield, and it seems that the left stick works correctly and all other buttons, including the triggers, function as an A button, however the right stick does not function at all. I'm assuming the other buttons just don't have the same input names (I guess that's what you call them) that the shield uses. I have not yet found an app that will recognize the other inputs of the controller, and I was wondering if there is possibly something I can use to get full functionality out of the controller.
Currently I've just been using my Xbox 360 controller along with the wireless adapter for it, since it is fully supported.
You ever find out anything with this? I'm interested in using the GC controller on my shield tv
Is there any way to make the 360 controller work on the S6? It's not a wireless controller.
I'll even root. Is there any way to make the 360 wired controller work? (tried it with my otg but it dosen't work. Strange thing that it worked on any other phone in my house..)
Anyone?
It should work out of the box. Are you on stock f/w?

Yep. It's not working..
strange. my ps2 controler with ps2 to usb and than over the otg cable works fine.
it could be that the s6 doesn't deliver enough power for the xbox controller.

Nope,it delivers the power but the controller wont find the phone. I don't know why. Everyone on the internet has the same problem..
Solved on s6 active!
After about a week of trying, I have wireless 360 controllers working on my s6 active. I'm using a Microsoft 360 controller receiver and an otg cable. I had to find a legit USB BT Joy Center apk (not the gold version, it kept disconnecting my controller) and then I found an app called Lucky patcher that let me remove the license verification on the app, since it has been abandoned by the developer. No root required! It allows you to keymap, so I can use multiple 360 controllers for emulators (Mario kart tested), and I even used it to play games streaming from my computer with Moonlight. I have the fixed apk file upon request, or you can diy with the instructions above.
Out of the box galaxy s6 doesn't work with with x360 controller. It doesn't event work with regular usb controller that other phones work. You have to remap buttons but it's pointless because phone doesn't recognize analog triggers and joysticks.

USB Joycenter has a feature that works with the MegaN64 and Mupen64 Emulators that allows for analog input. I'm uploading a video tutorial right now, it'll be up in an hour or so. https://youtu.be/I9fvLZMd9bE
