After following the exact procedure for rooting the samsung s2 i9100 XWLP7 firmware 4.0.3 when i start cwm manager it displays... CWM Manager needs SuperUser access to function! if you have SU installed, make sure CWM Manager is not blocked, the rebbot and try again.
i checked SuperUsers it is showing blank, no apps list and no log information.
i even installed titanum backup which on starting shows me the error....Sorry, i could not acquire priviliges. this application will *not* work ! Please verify that your ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox, and try again. And also the root access shows failed.
And lastly my wifi also detects the networks but does not connect to any of it. its just shows connecting and then obtaining ip address but does not connect.
Please help.
I think in the the process of rooting, there's some error such as incomplete download of file when flash using CWM. How about restoring back to original Samsung firmware and root again? Hope it helps!
hey there,
My Samsung Tab2 7.0 (model p3113) is stuck on boot.
I attempted (using heimdal on mac) to root it, but the process was interrupted.
I've taken a look at the guide here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722745), and while it was very helpful it requires the device to be able to boot into download mode in order to accomplish anything--which mine is unwilling to do.
The device is inconsistent in it's launch behaviour---sometimes it allows me to boot into recovery mode, at which point I've cleared the cache and reset, but to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I can't help. I have somewhat of a similar issue. Please help...
Here is my issue...
Hello. I have a problem and a question. My problem is that I can't startup my Samsung Galaxy S3. It says the partition is corrupt. I can't boot into any recovery mode, except Odin Mode. I have never rooted my S3 before, but I would like to use Mobile Odin to flash my phone to get it running again. One problem, I don't have access to a computer, but I do have access to another Android device. Is there a way to flash my S3 from a different Android device using Mobile Odin, or any program at all. Or can I run some sort of program from my SD card? I need my S3 back up and running?
Thanks.

I apologize in advance for this post being so long im just trying to give as much details as possible.
I don't know what else to do!
Phone Details:
Samsung Galaxy Avant (SM-G386T1), from MetroPCS.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat,
No kind of custom rom or custom recovery
Other than the binary problem and wifi problems im having now, everything else is normal
The phone has been factory reset in the boot recovery menu, and in the settings menu and it hasn't changed anything for the better.
I got a Samsung Galaxy Avant (SM-G386T1) from MetroPCS, I rooted it with kingroot, also replaced Kinguser with SuperSU without any problems. All was good until i let my little brother play on my phone, i had busybox pro on my phone, i had forgot to delete it, my little brother came to me saying my phone shut off. Well he had opened and installed the busybox binary and i lost all root permissions and my phone was crippled. My immediate reaction was to boot it in recovery and try to run my backup i had made from titanium backup, i couldn't do anything without root permissions. So from the recovery menu i factory reset the phone thinking it would help, it didn't. Now I'm unable to root the phone entirely on every 'phone rooting service' it says my phone isn't supported. Also I can't connect to wifi correctly it gets stuck at "obtaining IP address", i can however connect changing the "dchp" wifi setting to "static", but it wont fully connect. It just says "unable to obtain a reliable connection". I can't sign into google or anything. Any help at all or even just an answer would help I'm not entirely phone illiterate.
