Hey guys,
I just played around and made a camera hack.
It removes the battery check, so you can use the camera also when the battery level is <15% and you can use the power button to take photographs. The first click on the button will focus, with a second click it takes the photo.
You need a deodexed XXKPS to get it working.
Installation instructions: just download the file and install it via FeaMod Recovery.

Nope. Don't own the phone anymore.

Third press n so on - sometimes take photo sometimes lock the phone...
U can see the lock icon on top right of the cam tho...

Just try it. Make a backup of your system and flash the zip. It won't brick your phone, the worst can happen is that you get a FC of the app and for that you have the backup.

Not sure wether its universal. You try and inform me. Take a backup of your camera.apk. Try mine if it works succesfully report here. Also mention your firmware

It really works on kpq..and i agree that to make it pause and record on video mode would be better..

great work buddy I think vdo button will not work. It will overlap the previous image button map. Same mod i have seen in sgs thread 5-6 months ago.
Would be even better if this is combined with < 15% mod. is it? Been waiting for this for a long time, great help.

Hi friends, here is the Lenovo Super Camera for our Galaxy S4. It is the best custom camera app I've seen for our devices with a ton of options and you will definitely love it.

This is a CWM flashable zip.
PS: Panorama mode gives FC's but the rest works fine.
Keep the camera resolution at the maximum and you will see that a few effects work. The camera is not in the maximum resolution by default.
Was trying to fix panaroma these days but in vain and infact kinda busy with SOKP

Thanks man. I know it's not perfect and that some of the effects and whatnot don't work, but beyond the non-working stuff it's still a top quality camera app. Works great on my device running 0803's CM10.2.
Ps. SuperGallery does not open for me. Just force closes.

What firmware are you running? Since I'm running CM 10.2, it could be the result of an AOSP based ROM or simply because it's a 4.3 based ROM. Funny thing is, I'd expect the camera app to break before the gallery app. That's normally how any of the camera ports work. lol

I'm running Stock Touchwiz 4.2.2
Nice app..HDR AND PANORAMA are not working .. but nice animation and has many options, even it has gallery . Any body can try as this does not require root. Thanks, btw I hit the thanks button also.

Restored MGA and the gallery is working fine. My guess is that it just isn't compatible with 4.3 yet.

same here, stock TW
workfully and good for my gt i9500 :good:, but i have little problem if select filter before capture camera will crash, just capture original and add filter later.
Camera FC sometimes and works others but gallery doesn't work at all (FC).

Only when i swipe from bottom to the top the camera doesnt work then i have to swipe to the bottom (automatic) again and reboot the phone, everything will work again

Maybe it's only an issue for the VS980, but the camera is absolutely awful on CM-based ROMs no matter what camera app you use. The shutter speed and framerate is horrendous on all of the apps I've tried. However, I just installed this app and I'm SO freaking happy. It's a humongous improvement over everything else I've tried before. Maybe that's because the app is better optimized for a 13MP camera. I don't know. But either way, this has made the AOSP experience almost perfect for me. Thank you so much for posting this.
Also, I may try for a version to enable 4K & Slow-Mo/ 60 Fps for the CM based RoMs..

Few problems i am facing is camcorder is not working and few bugs in flash light not working normally (e:g not working while using camera)
Is there anyway i can get them working again normally.
Also , I can see sometimes that there is problem of screen resolution (dpi) .Like the text and button got overlap in notification of music player.
So .changing the dpi of screen will help me to solve it ? If yes then to which value should I set it. That will enhance the display .
ps: device is galaxy ace plus gt-s7500

for the camcorder you can download videocam illusion from playstore....in fact the native camcorder doesn't work.....whereas to fix flashlight you can use this xposed module http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-flashlight-fixer-fix-devices-t2867267

i tried what you said. But viceocamillusion does not let you save the videos. Atleast in my case. Whenever i take a video and quit this app then look for that video in my sd card i couldn't found it .
Also the xposed module didnt helped me either. Anywas a used a torch app made by same dev. It helped me for the flash problem but still it doesnot work with my camera.

you could try to install CM11 based on kitkat 4.4.4 by Liam D....at the moment I have installed it and is very good....by installing beta2 and the fix you don't need to install the module xposed to use the flashlight....then you can install videocam illusion to use camcorder....
