More or less desperately searching for a solution, so I will just ask in here:
Will this patch work on a Desire with running the following:
Android 2.3.3, Leedroid 3.0.6 (Gingerbread)?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
Great job, works!

I'm on this for the whole evening now, so forgive if it's a stupid question, but can i use any of this on my rooted SE Arc (Gingerbread 2.3.2.)?
I know i only need the wpa.supplicant to replace in system/bin but when i try to extract your zip i get an error and a zero bites file.
tx in advance for your reply!

Ok, created a ad-hoc network with my laptop and tried to connect to it with my Nexus S (after I flashed the patch) and it founds the network but can't connect to it... says "Obtaining IP..." for a minute or two and then shows "Disconnected".
I'm using SupeAosp 8.2 ROM (Android 2.3.4)

Didn't work on AOSP Android 2.3.4 ROM - WiFi stopped finding networks completely.
If it helps, I flashed SupeAosp 2.3.4 ROM and it worked. not sure if it's the script or the ROM feature as it known to have the Ad Hoc fix already installed...

Hi,
I just flashed cleanrom 5 on to my htc one-x. Love it, but one thing is driving me nuts. I have a 5ghz and two 2.4ghz wireless networks in my house. After flashing the device will only connect to the 5ghz network. It can see the 2.4ghz networks, but will not connect to either of them. All the other devices in my home have no issue connecting to either of them. I've checked the advanced Wifi settings and network is set to Auto, so it should work.
Please help or I will be forced to go back to version 4.5
Thanks,
Dan

I installed this MOD on a Samsung i727 running stock and rooted UCMC1 ROM (4.1.2 JB) and now my phone does not pass the ATT white boot screen. I tried wipping all cache in Recovery, wipping all and no luck. I'm using TWRP.
I flashed again the same stock room with ODIN and tried again with a fresh installed ROM, without luck, stuck again on ATT logo white screen.
Is there any way to get stock Wi-Fi tether and USB tether on stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean? I can't find nothing different than this MOD.
Thank you for your help.
