[Q] keep backlight on?

Is there a app to keep the backlight on while charging?
Not that I know of. I use widgetsdroid and have a screen on widget. I just hit that when I don't want the xoom to sleep.

Go to Settings > Applications > Development. Check the option 'Stay awake'
Cool thanks

Where did wifi settings go in ICS?

Where did the wifi settings go to be able to turn on wifi upon awake rather than always on? Thanks.
Settings > Wi-Fi > 3-square button at top right of screen > advanced > keep Wi-Fi on during sleep
Select "never" to make it turn off during sleep.

Auto Rotating Lock Screen.

Does anyone know how to get the the Infinity to stop auto-rotating while on the lock screen.
It's just a small annoyance I would like to get rid of.
Doesn't it lock when locking it in notification center? I think mine does, but can't test right now.
No the lock screen still auto rotates even if it is turned off in the system settings.

Swiftkey and the dock

I have searched high and low between the swiftkey settings and the dock settings, and cannot find a way to disable the suggestion bar when I am docked. I'm aware of the ability to disable autocorrect, but I would rather have the screen space. Do I have to just use the work around of selecting a different keyboard when I'm doing word processing?

There is an app on the market called keyboard manager. You set it to switch silently to the Asus keyboard whilst docked then back to swift key when not
awesome.
+1 for awesome!
Even works with 3 keyboards:
docked - Asus keyboard,
undocked landscape - SwiftKey,
undocked portrait: 7 Notes for handwriting with stylus

I'm already using Tasker which doesn't support changing input methods and I really didn't want to add yet another context-aware app. I was also already using Secure Settings to enable expanded desktop when docked from Tasker (using the "Keyboard Out" context). Turns out if you enable the "Helper" in Secure Settings you can set the input method (I chose the plain Android AOSP keyboard) in any of your contexts!

[Q] Asus Vibe+

It's annoying, I installed it to get rid of that damn notification... keeps giving more notifications. Uninstalled it hoping I wouldn't get another notification... nope. How do I get rid of these notifications?

Thanks, that was annoying me as well :good:
You could've just disabled it instead of installing it (Under the same options That's OK mentioned is also 'disable' (or 'uninstall' first.))
