Dual pad Qi chargers - Nexus 4 Accessories

Alright, i know there is like a thousand threads on Qi chargers, but I couldnt find one specific to DUAL chargers. Since the wife got a Nexus 4 she has been steeling my orb everynight which means I am back to using a USB cable and as anyone with wireless charging know; once you go wireless - its hard to go back to wired.
Anyways, ive been looking for a solution, and I think having two single qi chargers on the dresser would be kinda silly, so ive been investigating the dual pad qi chargers. So far there is really only 5 and they are all either old or expensive. Here is my findings so far:
Panasonic TM101 - problem with this unit is these dont charge simultaneously, and after it has finished charging it wont keep it topped up. Also these seem to be only NOS (new old stock).

Energizer IC2B-US - these are the cheapest, however they are mostly used / refurbished units left over from 2010-11. also they seem to have the most problems.

ZENS ZEDC01B/00 - these seem to have good reviews however the few I can find are over $100.

Maxell WP-PD10.BK - these seem to have good reviews however the few I can find are over $100. also they seem to be NOS.
http://www.amazon.com/standard-wire...826065&sr=8-2&keywords=maxell+dual+qi+charger
eBay generic - seems pretty expensive for a generic, havent seen any reviews on them.

Whelp thats what I have compiled so far. Does anyone have anything to ad?

I've been looking, I can't find anything either, seems like if you can get a single for somewhere in the ballpark of $20, you should be able to get a dual around $40...but I can find any worth trying.

@jairuncaloth Those are a bit much I haven't tired any of these chargers but the prices are a bit more reasonable. www.solarstylemiami.com
Mine was a gift. It's pretty handy.
Another vote for the Solio. A pricy but amazing device, I never go anywhere without mine
+2 for Solio...the best functionally!
Which one of those solar chargers are compatible with Nexus one?

Solio usually comes with all kinds of adaptors for all phones. Check their website for specifics.
I don't know if they have a microusb tip yet. That's pretty easy to work around though. Mine came with a standard usb female port. I can plug the N1's usb cable right into it.

Yes! It is A97 tip!
I just got the tip and it works like a charm!
Just curious....Where do you use these?
I just can't imagine being somewhere I would sit long enough to use this that I wouldn't have access to AC or USB.

did you look on ebay? This don't need to be specific from HTC. Look maybe for UK to EU adapter or something like that...
It has to be the same design, because the HTC`s chargin unit is designed in such a way that it enables switching the adapter that goes into the socket.
na žalost.

So something like that will not work:
If not then is cheaper buy EU charger because this combined is way to expensive...
no, I have that. That`s not a problem. I`m just looking to get the original HTC part for that charger. What you can do is take out the UK plug and put in the EU one. Its interchangable.
Anyway, they only have this at the moment, might wait.
edit: found it, but its expensive
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plug-P300-I...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1270812930&sr=8-10
You can still just plug the 3 prong UK plug into a EU adapter but then again it kind of defeats the point behind the plugs design. Why make it like that if they aren't going to offer the plugs individually? Some people may never need the American or Australian plugs.
I know that I will use this adapter with UK charger, because I charge my phone all time in same place(overnight near bed)... So I have my charger for TyTnII untouched cca. 2 years connected to same plug and this adapter will not be problem. But if you travel a lot I think you can easy lose or forget somewhere this adapter(can stay in wall "plug" and you forget take it out)...
It's probably easier to find a complete new set of charger, plug and cable. Found one on ebay that sells for 9€ (shipping included, at least in germany ) - so thats just a bit more expensive than a simple power adapter that would look not that good / bloat up the whole charger.
Added Bonus: In the rare case your charger unit blows up, you got a spare one
I received and invoice from expansys (who run the http://www.htcaccessorystore.com) just for that part. They want 7.77 for it.
Got the adapter today. Fits perfectly, great to have an interchangable part. Is was 7.77 with delivery.
Nice find
@JaykaySLO
Thanx mate for the tip
Been searching for a while for that adapter!

ORZLY USB A to USB C Cable Set

I thought I'd share as they finally got delivered. Still says it will be delivered on the 13TH of next month...
Orzly® Multi-Colour Value Pack of USB 2.0 Type C (USB-C) to Type A (USB-A) Cables (1M) for use with OnePlus 2, Nokia N1 Tablet, Lenovo Zuk Z1, and Other Type-C Supported Smartphones & Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMG5WY/
They are USB 2.0, but I know I'll need some spare cables at home, in the car and at work.
The cables are much nicer than I thought it would be for this price. They actually are a beautiful color with a clear surrounding on them as you can see in the pictures. The end all have this really nice speckled metallic appearance. The connectors look like they're pretty well made and nothing feels cheap. I will say the cables themselves are a little floppier that I was expecting but I've noticed this from flat cables a lot more.
Only cost me $19 for the 4 cables. Let me know if you guys have any questions, I'll answer what I can.

I was just looking at these on Amazon untill I read a review some guy said they only charge at 500mA max so idk
They may, but I don't care, that's why they are spares. I've got a few others on the way and one of the dual port ones from Google work the long cable.
thanks these will probably work great for a nice slow trickle charge through usb at work!

That's what I was thinking, when you can't find your good cable and need something to keep it alive, or have to move some files or pictures at work.
I have these but haven't used then yet. They feel very cheap to me. I don't expect more than 500mA. I'm sure they'll be great for a trickle charge until they fall apart. I expect to keep them for that reason only, even if they only last 6 months.

Yeah, I could barely care if I lose one, just a spare. I didn't think they felt super cheap though. Did you get the same colors?
We just got these in my store, ?

I've got them and been using them with my OP2 since launch. What app can I use to check charge rate one you let me know I'll check all of them. I just got in the red and black cable from them and it is thicker and feels like it's high quality I'll do a video this week on it
I'm using a good looking app called Ampere.

My thoughts on the Orzly Type-C Cables

With there now being a clear distinguished line between what cables are certified and what aren't by Benson Leung, shopping for additional Type-C Cables is a little easier. So as I was after a new set of cables for my Nexus 6P, I was mainly looking for a pack that offered the best value for money.
I came across this Orzly quad pack on Amazon.co.uk for only £17.99 with free delivery so works out to about £4.50 per cable which is a bargain. I probably don't need all 4 cables, but it's nice to have spares if I ever lose or want to keep one at work.
I've tested these myself using the CheckR and Current Monitor app and all the cables pass with flying colours. I may just be repeating what many of you might know already but I thought it would be good to share my opinions and experiences with these cables on here.
Overall the build quality of the cables is really nice, robust and don't look like either ends will start to fall apart after some use. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking for additional Type-C Cables.

You're lucky! I missed that deal but still thought these cables are great value for money and work great!
I bought this exact 4-pack from Orzly for $15, received them just about a month ago, and now they are all broken. The USB-C connector first would bend, then would break off completely. I've emailed them and am waiting to hear back. Curious how they hold up for others who got these.

Yup Very frustrating, because after the first two broke I figured I must have been doing something to stress the connecter (even though I've never had this issue with any other cable on any other device over any length of time). So, I consciously babied the remaining two and they still broke the same way. It was definitely not user error . . . these things were defective, is all I can think. Maybe the ones I got were from a bad production run or something . . .? I don't know, but as mentioned I emailed them via Amazon to see what was up. Ideally they would send me a new 4-pack that weren't defective, but who knows. I'll update if I hear back.

Choetech 5 Coil Dual Fast Wireless Charger

I just received Choetech's new 5-Coil dual wireless charger to review. I just got it today, so I don't have a full review. But so far it appears to be very nice quality, and promises to fast charge (up to 10W) two devices at once. I'll test it with my Note 9 and Note 8 for a few days then leave a review here.
It can be purchased from Amazon for $53 (which is about half the price of Samsung's charger) at this link:
CHOETECH Dual Wireless Charger, 5 Coils Double Qi Fast Wireless Charging Pad Compatible with iPhone X/XS/XS Max/XR/8/8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus/S8/S8 Plus, Note 9 (QC 3.0 Adapter Included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KRZ9127/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eaAiCb6B7N5JJ
But, Choetech let me know tonight they are hosting a giveaway with MacRumors, so you can win one of the chargers! Follow this link:

I'll add mine here, don't mean to high Jack the thread or anything.
I just received mine after being out of town for a few weeks so it was a pleasant surprise.
1. I am very happy with the design and build quality or the charging pad. It is lite but feels solid and centered. The soft touch pad of the top of it helps to keep devices from moving around or slipping off. I do wish it was a bit wider though as I sometimes find myself trying to align my Note 8 and 9 in the sweet spot.
2. Making sure you have the right power brick hooked up to it provides dual fast charging. I just use my Samsung official charge block that came with my Note 9 and it works just fine.
3. Really love that you can use any USB C cable instead of a dedicated charger for the unit. You can also use any charge block you want, but if it isn't a fast charge block with 2a or higher, it'll charge at regular speed for both devices.
I don't have any gripes about this product besides the size of the pad. So 4 out of 5 stars from me. As far as the price goes, I think $50 is appropriate considering how much the Samsung official one costs $100 or more depending on where you buy it.
This ones a yes from me.??
Disclaimer stuff...
Choetech sent me a sample unit to test and give my opinion on. And no, the fact that it was a sample didn't skew my opinion on the charger.
