Changing build.prop results in no service? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I have an app I needed to change build.prop for....when I did the app worked great but now I have no service?
I changed from Verizon s3 to s4 Google edition

What lines did you change? And what's the app?

The lines i changed were just Model and Manufacture. I changed those so the fitbit app would bluetooth sync with my fitbit that i have.

Is there a way too add screenshot to power menu?

I am on Rem's S3 ROM and I would like to add the screenshot option to the power menu. My google search has led me to complicated coding for the Xperia only pretty much. Is there a flashable zip somewhere that I am overlooking?
Isn't vol down + power easier?

Well, hit the wrong button so enjoy your free thanks.
Most ROMs are Power+Vol-, but some like SkyICS are Power+Home key.
Install application from google play named as 'screenshot'. By using this just shake your mobile and get screemshot

Awesome; you can track how long you've walked throughout the day by the number of screenshots you have.

Palm touch on Galaxy Tab 2

I recently discovered an amazing feature in galaxy tab 2.
It says we can pause or mute media by placing our hand over the screen.
However I could not figure out how to do it. I tried placing my hand in every direction, every orientation but it does not work.
Please help me figure this out.
I found it using app that displays activities about any app installed in the device and is named "utter".
Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Which firmware are you using? 4.1.2? I never saw this function in any Samsung Stock ROM...
EDIT: I see it needs a proximity sensor (no built in GTab 2 WiFi only)
Try placing your hand in the top of the screen, close to the camera...
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
I have tried everything placing hand over proximity sensor, screen and even the camera but it does not work
I am on firmware 4.1.2 3G + Wifi model
This feature is hidden and hence no one knows about it....

I don't know, it requires the proximity sensor (I think that the WiFi only doesn't have) so I can't test it...
You found it on Settings or Music Player app?
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
What I did was that I was using an app to look out on activities
As i was going through various activities i discovered this one
I made a command opened it and found this feature....
It appears to be amazing if somehow it could work

Well, i think that even teh GSM + wifi version of teh GTab 2 doesn't have the proximity version... that's why Samsung "hide" this feature..
No it has the proximity sensor
I use it for a variety of tasks
But i turned them all off before trying for this feature....

I think the Music app is based on another version of the Music app, maybe the Galaxy SIII's one, but this one had some features disabled...

I think there's no problem to be solved...
Samsung didn't want to include this feature and that's it... maybe there is missing some libs, maybe if some dev could modify Music app to allow it.
it's kinda hard, at least for me!

If I get you correctly
Go to setting > device tab > call > enable incoming call notification. With this, it will display a pop up window when someone call u instead of full screen

What I understand from op request is he want a popup while on some game (screen on) at bottom in small window rather than full screen.
What I said is exactly doing same.
Here quoting op again. Didn't getting you.
