Database Info

Not able to download some apps from market.

After updating to the latest IC ROM (With superwipe) I experience troubles downloading apps from market I am 100% certain works for ICS. It just sais "this app is not compatible for your device" or something like that when I click on the apps market link. Doesn't give me option to download
I tried downloading Market Unlocker and try some other contries, but same problem excisted.
Any help and I will be gratefull. Gonna try reflashing tonight and see if it works: P

I am using the latest InsertCoin, maybe the problem is that I changed the LCD Density to 260? Gonna revert to 240 and try again

Don't really remember, Barcode Scanner and Swiftkey is the ones I remember

sounds amazing will be testing soon. i wonder if it is works with intext4+ well?

first delete system/etc/init.d/40a2sd,then add your a2sdx

You can use ad2sdx.someone test it.unzip it，and use re explorer to copy the 40ad2sdx to system\etc\init.d.Remember to change the permissions.

i tried this rom with cronmod A2SD++. It's too lagy for me & home button didn't work. Did not try w/out a2sd script, maybe much smooter w/out it. Thanks for your hard work but i'm switching back to 2.3.30 gb.

I'm trying it right now with A2SD+, it feels OK. My home button works, my overral impression is good, smooth, a bit under other jb roms, but almost the same of VJ's miui rom. Maybe a bit better though.
I needed to install the play store, even if i was able to configure my Google account.
I stay with this rom at the moment.
Someone knows if Xaomi will release jb 4.2 miui soon ? Then, this rom will have the benefit of lastest evervolv team work.

As far as I know miui is closed source. The only way to translate (the texts) it would be apktool but I don't think that the algorithm and the engine could be changed.

i have rooted my htc explorer and installed custom rom cynogenmod s3feelos rom but after installing play store app its not working. somebody plz help me...waiting for response. if anyone knows about this issue plz help me to solve it.

clear data for playstore.(settings>apps>playstore>clear data)

Try the latest CyanogenMod 10.2 weekly builds. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2422515 Download the gapps from the link given in the post. Flash the ROM>reboot, go back to recovery flash the gapps zip>reboot.

Well, i dont have GTalk in my phone and need an apk of the same. I run a JB based ROM. Anyone has it?
tired searching it in Q/A section but no similar topics found.

Well, yes. It says App Not Installed when i try usual installation of apk. So i tried copying it into system/app but no luck.
Can i know how do i get logs?

Does voice work for you/
I get a FC as soon as I push the Mic-button next to a contact :S. Anybody a fix for that?

Me too. If somebody can fix it, it'll be really helpful.
To stop force closes, all you have to do is put the library files(make space in system and put library flies from normal jb gapps. ) in /system /Lib
But after that, there won't be force closes, but network automatically disconnects.
Can you use Skype? ?
Same problem there as well.
The logs are similar and gives this

Skype works fine actually, voice and video, but it's laggy (I use MiniCMOD10 and kernel 2.6)
I just found an 3rd party app which provides Gtalk video and voice that seems to work pretty nice but it lacks normal text chat....
(Vtok - availl. in playstore)

Then gtalk may also work for you after changing libs. ..Can you get me a log, when Skype makes a voice call?

Sorry mate, no longer using Jellybean. I have switched back to ICS. But i do remember i used to get incoming calls without any FCs, i did not answer those calls, so i do not know if it really works or not.

Play Store FC on 4.2.2 ROM on a Sensation XE

I flashed the SUPERXE rom 4.2.2. beta4 for my sensation xe. When I boot it up there's no play store inside and if I install the APK and I launch it, the program closes immediately. The author of the rom never talks about installing GAPPS. What should I do?

When you first boot up does it have you go through any setup? In settings is there an option to add a Google account?
