Hello everyone, i have an AT&T Galaxy note 2 rooted with android 4.3 and and custom AOSP Rom, i would like to know what kernel is best for OCing my note 2 to 1.8 ghz or above on an android 4.3 AOSP rom and is also compatible with note 2. Oh and undervolting is not really needed, but nice if it has it.
AOSP Rom+Android 4.3+AT&T Note 2
I'm wondering this too, I've tried looking for a good kernel but I'm not having luck. The ones I'm flashing are just causing problems on every AOSP ROM I've tried.

You should always stick with the STOCK KERNEL on an AOSP rom, hence always having problems on AOSP Rom

Hi. I'm running Skynoye 4.3 Edition ROM on my Note 2 i317. I love this ROM and its based of of an official leak for 4.3 update. I also love stock android but this being a note 2, it has an spen which requires a lot of proprietary software inside touchwiz to run at its full compasity. I also love touchwiz features. Is there a way for me to dual boot touchwiz and an aosp ROM like cyanogen or paranoid android? And also can the two Roms share all data like apps and documents? Thanks in advance.
Happy Tinkering.
Best wishes,
Abdullah S. Ahmad

CyanogenMod
CM 11 (Android KitKat) NIGHTLIES
CM 10.1 (Android 4.2 Jelly Bean) STABLE
CM 9 (Android 4.0 ICS) STABLE
CWM Based Recoveries
There are hundreds of roms available. It differs from person to person which roms he/she likes.
I personally like CyanogenMod. Just look here and find a rom.
Almost all threads have a guide how to install the rom. If you don't like the rom you just simply install another one.
If you want to get started, install CWM Recovery as listed above.

As far as I've searched, I found no CWM ROMs for your device.
This is all there: http://www.gadgetstroop.com/2015/02/Custom-Roms-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-Exynos-SM-N910C-SM-910H.html
Maybe you'll have to wait till someone ports one.
I'm looking for a KitKat ROM to downgrade from Lollipop. Preferably, I would like something as close to AOSP/CAF as possible.
Anyone know of anything?
Thanks.

They're all in the dev section. Just look at the remaining KitKat ROMs and see which are still being updated.
Hi, bought a used Oneplus One today with CM12.1 nighty today. Changed the governor to conservative and have to say: This is the smoothest Android experience I've ever had (much better than a S6). 60fps almost everywhere.
Couldn't complain
About caf: Isn't this the special cm kernel tree which is somewhat incompatible to aosp?

Not likely that this will ever happen.
Hey all. I have been doing a lot of testing on L speed mod on stock roms and l speed on custom roms. On stock roms, the change is absolutely incredible I must say. On the other hand on the custom roms I dont actually feel the difference, maybe the roms are just optimized by themselves. Just wanted to see what you guys think about that and have any of you tested it yourself. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 jfltexx with optimized lineage os 14.1. Cheers

I actually have the same ROM (JDC Team?). That rom's pretty much optimized, but some things are unique in L Speed. It's worth using it in that rom.
