I have a Rooted phone (specifically a chinaphone) named Cherry Mobile Thunder S220.. I heard about the benefits of of having a custom recovery to install roms so I tried to download the CWM 6.0.80 to download the cyanogenmod.. So now I have the img. file of the recovery and tried to flash it with this Mobileuncle app... then the tragedy happened... when I booted the recovery mode the question is.. Where is the recovery?? I rebooted it to the recovery again but still no luck... How can I fix this and return it to Stock Recovery ??? I know I'm an idiot.. I accept that I am but please help me.... and also.. CURSE YOU MOBILEUNCLE!!
If you can find its stock recovery img file try flashing it

Yes you should be using the SP tools to flash it to the stock ROM state.
same happened my brother bricked his celkon A107 and I recovered it by having the stock ROM downloaded and using the SP flash tool to flash it back.
follow the same way how any ROm is flashed using SP flash tool..
when you are trying to flash with the battery out if the device is not detected make sure you installed the mtk drivers on your PC
even after installing drivers it didnt detect try some combinations mentioned in this forum for MTK devies like preseeing volume buttons etc..
Good Luck
MTK devices cant be bricked is an assumption I believed..!!!
Do u sucessfully unbricked a107 plzz tell me

Install clean stock ROM again using flash tools
method is shown here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167244
after that root it again using binary tools (for ICS) and using flash tools to install cwm for jb.
U should root yr mob by bin4ry method which is available on xda. Once yr mob ll be rooted the super su app ll be automatically installed in yr phone thn after u ll have to just do is to replace yr stock recovery with cwm recovery using mobile uncle, that's it...

It does mean the update-binary inside the flashable ZIP is not up to date.

Yes , you are right do you have any solution for this ,plz help me out.
Sent from my GT-P3100 using XDA Premium HD app
No need to replace it. If you like, you can take the update-binary from a KitKat build (ectract it from the Rom.zip) and replace inside your ZIP.
